Quick Tips:
◘ Make sure you do a Full Wipe and then flash the ROM.
◘ DO NOT restore data via Titanium Backup. More often than not it will cause stupid issues.
◘ If you have done all that, and still face issues please post a logcat. (Search on how to do that)
◘ For battery related issues, please post a relevant screenshot from an app like Better Battery Stats etc.

Second? haha. Can't wait to see what changes were made. Also, is this just an upgrade that we can dirty flash? I know it's always better to full wipe but this ROM is going so good I don't want to disturb it!
Edit: Nevermind. Read the Quick Tips. Link is not working yet anyways so I guess I will start backing everything up.

Quick question. Would you guys consider this better than CM10 from the cyanogenmod team (get.cm) or no?

If you want stabilty, numerous customizations and overclocking kernels than this is the s**t hands down. Haven't had any problems since I began using LiquidSmooth at all. Best rom for stabilty as far as JB roms easily. Just my opinion though others may like something else.

Rc 7 runs very well for me also.
Can anybody confirm whether pictures sent in portrait change to landscape once received as with rc7?
I've had this issue with JB Roms through such apps as G+, Gmail, and stock messenger...
Thank you in advance

Mods, please move this thread to the appropriate section, I think leaving it here will cause someone to download it and install it on their phone
People are people and do what people do
Thanks for taking this into consideration
what's funny is 4 people thanked him in the first post, and 2 people thanked him in the second!
OP and title edited. If on MetroPCS and have issues please PM the developer or post here.
as stated, d2mtr is metro pcs only. this forum is the best place for it, just like us cellular lives in the verizon section.
Sprint users should flash d2spr. we are aware of several issues with this build, especially with our launcher and widgets. we recommend flashing rc7 gapps or another gapps package as they are rom independent.
at this time we are working hard on 4.2 builds, and hope to have some early builds available soon!
Do you have a link for rc7 gapps?

CarbonRom is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. The team is composed of former members of Team Liquid who have forked the code in an attempt to bring greater speed,
better coding, and full authorship to code. We are in no way affiliated with Liquid0624. The rom was forked at Liquid beta 3.2.1 and has since undergone major code changes and modifications.
Please note that on some devices the kernel is not yet linaro compiled.
Please feel free to look at, build, and use our code on CarbonDev GitHub.
While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device,
family, pets, or perception of reality. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash!

So far everything looks clean on this rom overall. A couple things I noticed though.
1. Calendar app isnt installed with the base packages. Had to install through the play store.
2. The toggle option for the torch is present in the power widget but is greyed out and can't be selected.
3. Like all the other ROMs it has issues with the correct time. Setting timezones manually fixes this issue though.

Did you use titanium backup for Facebook? If you did that's probably the reason for it. Try clearing data, installing and manually set it up

I was just wondering if the xposed mods are not meant to work. Whenever I try to get into the xposed mod part of the settings menu, settings just crashes. I miss the dual pane settings from PACman, so I'd love to be able to only change the DPI for the settings app.
It's too bad this rom seems to have died. I really enjoyed it. If you see this greatergood, I hope whatever is going on is alright, and I appreciate the effort you put into these projects.

You can get the faux sound app from the Play Store. Do a search for fauxsound. Then you'll need to flash a kernel that is compatible with it. Like Faux's or BMT.
I always use Titanium Backup if I need to check on RAM usage.
Just noticed that the ROM has superuser baked in along with the app. Other ROMs don't have that confusion. Is it safe to remove the separate app and continue to use the baked in one?

Hi. My name is Covart and I am a flash-aholic.
I was very pleased to see the Baked team come out with their ROM for the d2att with the latest inverts. I was using Tasks ROM, but it required a lot of personal patching after each update came out to give me the options I wanted. Baked had included a nice simple toggle for disabling the capacitive buttons, and just use the Nav bar virtual ones. LED notification customizer is better and easier to view your alterations, additional inverted apps appear to load without issue, and the ROM thus far appears very smooth and stable. Gonna let the kernel bake some more before doing a battery test.
But, great work devs. The lack of people posting in here to complain is a good sign.

III. Support
If you have any issues or questions, please feel free to post them in the our threads. However, because all of us have social lives outside of XDA, your questions may not always be answered right away. Members who are more experienced in our work, please help out the ones who don't.

IV. Updates
We are a busy team! Every Team Member has lives outside of XDA. You cannot expect us to sit in front of the computer all day and develop Android. Please do not ask for ETA's. The update will come when we release it. Sometimes, there is a good reason for why we have not released an update in a while. Please be patient with us, we will do as we promise. Updates will come.

V. Responsibilities
We are not responsible for your device! We do not guarantee that everything will work the way it's supposed to. Not every device is created equal, what might work on our devices may not work on yours or vice versa. Please be a responsible person when it comes to flashing. This is a mature site, don't act immaturely when your device becomes problematic. If you cry and blame us for "destroying" your device, we will laugh at you. Your device is your responsibility, act like it.
Thanks for choosing Team Horizon, we hope you enjoy our works as much as we enjoy working with them.

Quick Feedback: Blazing fast, only one feedback: can we get rid of the AOKP Boot Animation with something from XenonHD?

Actually we have been using the nexus boot animation before AOKP started using it. But we have something being worked upon.

Thanks for the quick reply, you are awesome. Which kernel do you recommend with this ROM for batter life, considering this is based on 3.4.45 Kernel? I have been using the Lean Kernel in past which may not work with this because that is based on different kernel version 3.4.47.
I am loving the new GUI, keep up the good work.
I don't have a galaxy s3 myself. Made this ROM due to high number of requests.

Thanks, will try different options available. Anyway, I am pretty sure you will have huge fan following from the S3 users similar to what you have in Nexus
Great work!

Any way to disable the light coming from my capacitive buttons?

Sorry to keep coming back with ton's of questions . Promise, this will be my last for today .
I am unable to find the Vibration/Haptic Settings options under Settings. In most custom ROM's, I found this under Settings->Advanced->Haptic. This helps in setting the vibration strength for the mobile
Device specific settings will be implemented in the next update.
