Nice work here so far. SICK boot ani.
Smooth and quick.
Thanks!!

Any chance on being able to add desperate lock screen wallpaper in 8 or in the future. This is the smoothest ROM I've tried yet...thanks devs
Never mind on the lock screen... Change log answered my ?...

I know previous builds included cm's theme engine. Can I assume the same of this build?

,

And thanks to Casper, my question was answered.
Time to get baked. Hopefully the updates are a bit more frequent. :fingers crossed:

Runs smooth, for some reason I can't find the show ram usage button. Other than that and a typo when disabling logcat I'm loving it. Oh yeah and no faux sound.

You can get the faux sound app from the Play Store. Do a search for fauxsound. Then you'll need to flash a kernel that is compatible with it. Like Faux's or BMT.
I always use Titanium Backup if I need to check on RAM usage.

Just noticed that the ROM has superuser baked in along with the app. Other ROMs don't have that confusion. Is it safe to remove the separate app and continue to use the baked in one?

Another ROM, wow!!
I am a flash addict because of the Devs and not myself

Bumpadity Bump.
Quiet in here. Which every Dev loves. LOL Issue free.
AWESOME ROM guys.
Oh and Happy Patty's Day........ not like I needed an excuse to drink but I'll be looking for some green beer today.

Hi. My name is Covart and I am a flash-aholic.
I was very pleased to see the Baked team come out with their ROM for the d2att with the latest inverts. I was using Tasks ROM, but it required a lot of personal patching after each update came out to give me the options I wanted. Baked had included a nice simple toggle for disabling the capacitive buttons, and just use the Nav bar virtual ones. LED notification customizer is better and easier to view your alterations, additional inverted apps appear to load without issue, and the ROM thus far appears very smooth and stable. Gonna let the kernel bake some more before doing a battery test.
But, great work devs. The lack of people posting in here to complain is a good sign.

*ROM By: Adrynalyne*
OK folks, this is my final version unless there are major showstoppers. Next stop 4.x?
WARNING: Only use the included Apps package. I highly recommend a data wipe.
Changelog, rom:
----------
Autobrightness modified to work better
Battery size correctly set in framework
Accuate battery, thanks ihtfp69
Unknown sources and usb debugging enabled by default
Working Apps restore (thanks Krylon360, http://forum.xda-dev...&postcount=2201)
No search bar on launcher, 4x5 workspace
Screenshots will automatically prompt to share (credit ihtfp69)
Enhanced animations speed
Reboot menu, courtesy of CM team
T9 dialer, courtesy of CM team
Charging while powered off works
Default + stock ringtones and notifications
AOSP Live wallpapers all compiled
AOSP tethering enabled, thanks ihtfp69
Notification LED notifications are quicker between pulses by default.
jrummy16's root browser. Please show your support and buy the full version on the Android market.
Superuser built from source.
SpareParts (thanks ihtfp69 for fixing the aosp package)
Included kernel is stock (so as to not break signing)
BAMF is now using private signing keys. This means other system mods from other devs will not work with this rom, most likely, unless signed with our key. This was a necessary evil to make the rom more secure. It will help prevent a malicious application from gaining system control and getting access to sensitive data. Themers and modders that work with the team can contact us for these private keys. We cannot allow for public availability for obvious reasons, however. For those we do give the keys to, if they are leaked, we will simply change the key and give nobody access. So please respect our wishes to keep them private. The signing of this rom and apps MAY require a wipe to properly install.
Changelog, kernel:
----------
Overclocked to 1.35ghz, with stock speed steps.
Defaults to 1.2ghz
Tweaked deadline and CFS
charging while off works (Thanks Fabolous, Bixie)

Before I wipe everything to try this, is there any control provided over the search widget on the home screen? I know I'm in the minority, but I really like having it and don't want to give it up. I'd flash a mod over it to bring back the stock launcher, but by the sound of things, it looks like I can't with these private key files.

probably because there is no update for this version? i get the same thing. you dont even have to click it. it checks for itself then reports that message. i would assume that when there is an update it will say so

for me, seems the wifi 5ghz bug is that it does not see any 5ghz connections. i have a dual band router and it only sees the 2.4ghz signal
This brought new life to my old Xoom WiFi, thank you sir.
another thing i noticed...
The developer options in the settings seem to all be greyed out. i usually like to turn off the debug notification and also turn on the stay awake when charging and it looks like everything is greyed out and unable to change.

[ROM] [4.4.3] VanirAOSP [Official] [formerly ATOM] full-featured linaro+

This is the full release of my new ROM.
PLEASE READ:
This AOSP is not limited to CM, Vanir, CNA, EOS, AOKP etc. you get the best of all of them.. custom tailored for the galaxy nexus (and nexus 7 soon). no bloat for other devices or unusable additions in the source. the benefit? less bugs and a more optimized experience. More major features will be added from your favorite roms as soon as i can port and improve on them. I will listen to requests but don't get offended if i put them on the back-burner or decide against including them.
Disclaimer: Because I'm using building using commits from every major repo in existence it may take a while to integrate some of the major features to my standards. I may release a stock AOKP feature as a beta until I have the chance to improve it but I'm not interested in band-aid fixing things or duck taping **** together just to get more crap under the features list and change log. Also, If you have questions or interest in building or joining vanirAOSP please message me on gtalk: [email protected] and feel free to add me on google+
here is a link to the parent thread where you can view previous change logs and perhaps find an answer to a question

Reading the historic info on the ROM and the Dev, this sounds like it's supremely sound, technically - hence my wanting to try it.
Thanks for sharing your work.

Edit - I searched through the parent thread provided - is there an alternate messaging apk you could provide that's not dark? I have a real hard time seeing the baked-in one - other than that, I may have found my new DD. Thanks again.

Edit-
ok charged up installed very nice and smoothe bloat free nice and dark and very snappy , would be worth the download and would run as daily driver , rocking this til his next update.....came from sorcery and Dark paranoid...dis rom is simple to the point heavy hitter
Yeah this thing is pretty darn smooth.
I have only had my GNex for a little over a week and have tried a different ROM everyday. This one by far is amazing. The ROM reminds me of the huge speed increase i noticed when i upgraded from my Fassy to the GNex. Kudo's to PD!

Rom seems very responsive. I have gotten a fc on gtalk and play store. I like lighter themes better so i installed a google theme from the themes section. After getting the fcs i uninstalled the theme to see if it helped. Still getting fcs. I'll clear cache in recovery and see if it helps. Btw, did a factory wipe prior to flashing rom.

Ok, sounds good!
Wow! This ROM is insanely fast and seems to be quite stable.
I'm coming off of mmuzzys and vicious, both of which I liked, but this is a different animal.
PD, I mainly switched after reading the details of your change logs, quick implementation of Android 4.2 features and, more than anything, seeing the glowing praise of your return on the other forums.
I see myself sticking with your ATOM ROM for some time to come.
Thank you!

I couldn't have said it any better. This is a whole new speed demon of an animal. I am coming off linaro aokp and that was already pretty snappy. This might turn out to be my daily driver.
However, is there a way to customize navigation bar rings? Also, can I still quick reply a text if I don't choose ton respond as soon as I receive it, like in aokp? I am unable to find such a setting, if it does exist.
Thank you for the great development.

Been using Atom since 0.57b when i stumbled upon kdh forum, (had heard DT was there) and been lurking for a long time. Guess i need to sign up lol.
This is quite simply the most well built rom I've ever come across, and i believe I've flashed them all for the gnex ( gotta have my crack flash fix! ) my addiction forces me to try the other roms/updates etc, but i always come back.
Thanks PD!

Quick Tips:
◘ Make sure you do a Full Wipe and then flash the ROM.
◘ DO NOT restore data via Titanium Backup. More often than not it will cause stupid issues.
◘ If you have done all that, and still face issues please post a logcat. (Search on how to do that)
◘ For battery related issues, please post a relevant screenshot from an app like Better Battery Stats etc.

No logcat or no screenshot effectively means your issue doesn't exist

If you want stabilty, numerous customizations and overclocking kernels than this is the s**t hands down. Haven't had any problems since I began using LiquidSmooth at all. Best rom for stabilty as far as JB roms easily. Just my opinion though others may like something else.
Downloading now using my phone!

Rc 7 runs very well for me also.
Can anybody confirm whether pictures sent in portrait change to landscape once received as with rc7?
I've had this issue with JB Roms through such apps as G+, Gmail, and stock messenger...
Thank you in advance

This is awesome...been running since it was released. Thanks for this. Lot of options and more.
I'm so lost ...can seem to find the developer options for the adb and animation speed in settings. Can someone help please.
I am probably not looking at the right place.

That was it...thanks..are there any more hidden awesomeness .
Been away from aosp for a while and with the constant android revisions I'm totally out of touch I feel .
Thank you for the help. I was just planning to reflash and start all over
Love this ROM...two things....What is the new option in the camera for? The "HDR" what exactly does it do?
The other thing is, how do I update my binaries for SuperUser? When I try to update it, I get an error saying that it couldnt be updated and to try again later. I've tried this on and off wifi.
I have two superusers installed on my phone (Superuser and SuperUS) should I uninstall SuperUS? I only have it bcuz I've read that, that version was better. Any thoughts? Thanks

HDR will have this style effect on photos:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_dynamic_range_imaging
of course the software/camera on our phones will limit your results, its still a neat effect to play around with. Proper HDR photos will use several photos taken at different EV stops and then combined via software in post processing; best results are with fancier cameras on a tripod.
I will be loading BB8 on my gfs gnex (their thread on here is never updated with the proper thread titles in a timely fashion!) Wouldnt have known a new version was out if i didnt check here, thanks!

I've used both both previously, currently my rom (jellybomb) uses SuperSU as default. Not sure if having one or the other or both will make a difference though
My issue is that when I reboot my phones (GS3 and G-Nex) it will tell me that my binaries are not updated and to update them, but when I try to do it..I get an error.
