[Q] Chrome not compatible???

I got the ICS upgrade, and Google Play says Chrome isn't compatible. Why?

That sucks. Haven't tried over here yet. Still de-bloating this *****.

You must not have ICS.

I definitely do. Android version 4.0.3, Build Number IML47K.UVLE1.

I rebooted my phone and now it works. Strange.
Is there going to be support for Google Wallet now that we have ICS? I tried it, but it complains it's not certified and exits.

Its up to "the carriers". Recently the big 4 want to start their own NFC Waller thing going.

ive got one issue with google chrome.... when i scroll down it goes back to the top its very weird.. i scroll down it goes back to the top anyone else having this issue?
then after about 20 seconds i am able to scroll down that is untill i go to another screen... any ideas??

Just flashed in recovery. Does include gallery. Doesn't remove existing camera or gallery. Photosphere works.

I might be wrong, but i'm pretty sure you just need to remove the file from your phone. you could use file explore and delete it, or if you're lucky then it will flash as app and you can remove it from your app list. I'm pretty sure it's the first one tho.

I'm super new to Android. Bought the note 2 as the first android after 10 years of Symbian. I'm completely lost with the flashing thing on Androids.
I have few questions:
1. Does rooting/flashing delete the phone data?
2. If I flash the keyboard and then I flash the camera mod, do I lose my data everytime I add a mod?
3. What else should I do with my Note 2 to get the most out of it?

If youre only flashing the camera and keyboard, you dont need to wipe anything, and you dont lose anything either(data). It just puts the 4.2 camera, 4.2 keyboard and 4.2 gallery. As far as other mods, just read on the thread you get them from to see if there are any warnings before flashing. But the golden rule of flashing is always do a nandroid before you flash anything.

Even though I like the sync photos that this gallery adds, but, it doesn't cache thumbnails at all, you have to wait each time you scroll a page, this is useless

I tried that on my note 2 and it says "application not installed. Package with that name and different signature already installed"
Do I have to uninstall the original popup browser?
Edit: Actually I re-read it. I guess you cannot use this on stock huh?

You can only use it on stock ROM. It says its "touchwiz dependant"

Yes uninstall the old one from system/app/ folder and push this to system/app/ folder change the name to popupbrowser.apk and make the permissions the same as stock and reboot! :good:

anyone know how to change it to say "popup browser" on the "complete action using" screen other than com.sec.webbrowerminia ?

I have been searching for the last 3 hours looking for a solution. The best I can tell so far is that permissions are different from regular browser vs popup. I have been adding and removing to try and match permissions so that popup will have access to downloadmanager.
Oh and by permissions I dont mean file permissions but com.android.permission

[APP] CM Browser for touchwiz

This is the CM browser for use on TW based ROMs. I didn't make this, found it (don't remember where) and thought I'd share. Flash able zip. Flash, clear data, go to accounts and sync browser.
This will replace stock browser BTW, its not an "add-on"

Search "aosp browser", I've been using it for a long time. Sometimes on a fresh install you have to go to settings/apps and clear data, then it works fine.

Anyhow, thanks elflip88. Thats what i was running too and i am able to disable it. But i am asking because the developer of light flow is absolutely thrilled to know i have fixed this issue that he has been trying to fix for months. But the only way to implement this fix is by either deleting the stock browser or flashing it through recovery.
I am working on modding the apk further to allow for a regular install without root. That way people who aren't rooted can still benefit. However, if one is not able to disable the stock browser, and they install my modded one, they will have two "internets" in their app drawer xD So im hoping stock system allows one to disable the browser.

Im stock not rooted and I can't disable it. It shows the disable button but I can't click it
