This is probably more of a general question not specific to Galaxy s III, but I have one so I guess it's relevant. Has any developers given any thought to making interface variations for left handed people? I feel like some of the interface features in android are specific to right handed people. Case in point: The notification panel has a clear button that's on the right hand side. The App drawer is on the right hand side. The text message program has the compose button at the top right. Those are the major ones I could think of. It's not a huge deal, but given the size of the device, it makes one handed use more difficult for us lefties.
Weird, I was in general discussion and it posted in the dev section. Sorry guys!

I don't how tied you are to your current apps, but Nova Launcher (and probably other custom launchers) will let you move the drawer button (and even have more than one).
ChompSMS has a long, middle new message button (check out screenshots in the Play Store).
I'm not sure about the notification bar, though. That actually might need a new ROM...

I really love XDA... And I just picked up an HP TouchPad. Naturally, I'm browsing the forums on my new tablet. One thing I've noticed that would make these forums a million times easier to use on a tablet would be having the navigation bar/current location at the bottom of every page.
Currently, I have to scroll back to the top of the page to go back to the section I'm in. It is definitely just a minor annoyance, but it makes so much sense to have the navigation guide at the bottom as well.
Thank you!
I have not contributed enough yet to be allowed to post in the development thread, however this is a two part development question regarding Tommy's Classic Rom.
I know that changing how many home pages you have and the order of the pages is handled by a launcher mod. I typically use GoLauncher. I was wondering if that capability was something that could be worked into the CCP? I am a minimalist, and I use swypepad, so I only need one home page. I would like to be able to remove the extra empty pages that I don't use.
I like the ability to have a "dock" or row of items (widget or app) along the bottom of the screen/side of the screen if tilted. If this is a mod that could be included as well that would be great.
I love all the options you have built in and adding thest two options, in my opinion would make your rom complete. I am really looking forward to the SuperMagic!!
Thanks for any feedback. I have thoroughly enjoyed the classic rom and have been using each new version as they come out since the very beginning.
Thanks Tommy and Dread for all your hard work.
edit--- I also make use of a GoLauncher feature called gestures. I can gesture down and cause an action to occur and I can gesture up and cause a completely different gesture to occur. Gesturing on the home screen. That would be a cool option to have available too.
Thanks!

Most of what you just asked about, requires editing the lines in the default.xml file,if anyone can make this a mod,it would definitely be Tommy.
Thanks
Thanks for that information. I was wondering if you or someone could point my questions Tommy's way? I was wondering what his thoughts are on adding or not adding those items to his rom. I figure he has reasons for what he does and I am the curious type always trying to learn.

Thanks a bunch!!
I know it's a development rom, and this probably isn't the appropriate place to ask this question, but I cannot post in the development thread at the moment.
When I add an icon to the current home screen (From the application drawer) the icons on every other screen disappear. I can still click the location they were in, and launch the correct app, however I cannot see any of the icons.
The icons reappear if I move to that home screen and add another icon to it. The icons on the other screens disappear though.
Has anyone had this problem? Has anyone heard of a fix for this problem.
I am running CM10.1 6/10/13 and have had this issue for several months. I ran AOKP 6/7/13 and this issue does not exist. This is definitely me whining but I like CM10.1 over AOKP so that's the only reason I went back.
Phone details (If it's not obvious): AT&T Samsung Galaxy S III (i747)

I didn't want to do it this way, but I fixed it by formatting the SD card, and pretty much every other on board storage. I reinstalled CM10.1 nightly (6/10/2013) and it came up just fine. the issue appears resolved. No idea what caused it though.

Sorry for this question, but I just cannot figure it out. Every time I double tap the notification bar at the top, it does not screen off/sleep, instead it just tries to open the notification window on my S7 Edge. I've been extra careful not to slide my finger trying to get this working. So how do I get Nova Prime to perform screen off when double tapping the notification bar?
Please move to correct forum. Thanks.

I have a really werid specific request - if you can help me out I'd be super grateful. I am posting here in order to reach to a much wider audience. Thanks!
So I have a OPX that seems to have burn in due to on screen nav buttons.
I was wondering if anyone can help me change the color of my navbar to the 'inverted' colors to 'reverse' the wear?
Thanks!

Want something like this at the bottom : https://i.ytimg.com/vi/sinIMsLmW-s/maxresdefault.jpg
If no one's able to easily do that then you could also just turn off the navbar and use the capacitive buttons.
