Performed a factory reset and lost all the s note examples that you see when s note opens. Ive tried an odin restore but they didn't come back. Any way to restore them?

I'll try and sum up my problem...
I backed up my phone like 2 weeks ago. Accidentally cleared my TouchWiz today setting so I figured I would just reload my backup in nandroid. It kept pulling up bad .md5 , so tried this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=714114 no help.
but by trying to do the restore it must have messed up my stock os (didn't go pass the note 2 intro) , so i used the one click oden (SPH-L900_MA7_Rooted_Nodata) to be lazy and after, it kept saying my encryption password is incorrect when I know it wasn't due to the fact I have been using it for 3 months now. I read other people had the same problem so just did the quick thing and factory wipe.
Now what my question is all my photos are encrypted still on my sd card still. Is there any way to unencrypt them?
aaaaannnnndddd it's gone.

Thanks anyways. I'll try restoring old recoveries.
I tried to post this on a more appropriate location but I was told I was not allowed to post there because I'm a new user.
Regardless, I'm having a huge issue. I use NRT to backup my Nexus 4, but something has happened that resulted in a factory reset, and when I press Restore nandroid backup, nothing happens. I can click on it dozens of times if I want, and nothing happens. nothing I have done has caused it to actually work. What is going on?
my phone is totally on factory settings now and I'd really like my backup to work so it can be back to normal. otherwise, what is the point of backing up?
I am using Nexus 4, Android 4.3.
okay so I have a samsung galaxy s3, I updated to Android 4.3 through AT&T and my phone has been giving me problems ever since. could someone please tell me what options do I have to fix this thing? Right now I have downloads that keep coming in that have been completed months ago and my LED flash also comes on when my phone rings. I havent done any flashing or rooting since about 2 years ago with my AT&T Tilt 2. I just felt like this phone didnt need it. I've read some other articles that say if you try to root an AT&T SGS3 that it will brick after this cripling update to android 4.3. But it's just fine to do it wit other carrier smartphones. It doesnt seem like there are any fixes on the horizon, so I feel like i need to take matters into my own hands. Please help.
I'm assuming you already tried a factory reset? But as far as rooting though I don't think it's possible currently if you did the ota update. Whatever you do don't try to Odin back though, you'll hard brick.

I'm not sure if i've tried a factory reset. The only reset i've done is the option they give you when you hold the button on the upper right hand side of the phone. Where is the factory resetet option? Also, should I backup my information before I do this factory reset.

Click to collapse
boot into recovery to clear the cache first and then try a factory reset if that does not work.
I have read of this continual download bug, but do not have it myself
If you can connect to KIES, you can back stuff up easily , but I'd just backup contacts and stuff and reinstall the apps. Yes, a factory reset will wipe your apps and contacts, but it should leave your pics in the card and in the phone alone.. back em up just in case.
I do remember that I have done a backup before the factory reset. But when I wanna find the photos on my computer a week later, I failed.
So I wonder if I can recover from the N3 so I tried some programs , but seems no photo can be recovered.
Anybody here know some other ways?
Well, as you've mentioned, related programs would be the easiest way to get data back. Here is an article tells you how to recover data from oppo on mac. You can check it out.
Hi,
I went to restore my note 2 back to stock settings after backing up using TWRP. However what I found was three different restores.
Two of them had just recovery and system in, whilst the third had all efs, recovery, system etc.
I went with the more complete restore, the third one, and just restored it. This made me have to start all over again like a factory reset that was just rooted. I am worried that I may be missing some key parts of the note?
Will my phone be okay? I dont mind I had to install everything again it's just whether I am missing any key components from the other two restore files.
Any help would be great!
Thanks
Bump! Someone please help as I am worried my phone isn't as functional as stock.
