[Q] can data be recovered after factory reset - Oppo N3

I do remember that I have done a backup before the factory reset. But when I wanna find the photos on my computer a week later, I failed.
So I wonder if I can recover from the N3 so I tried some programs , but seems no photo can be recovered.
Anybody here know some other ways?

Well, as you've mentioned, related programs would be the easiest way to get data back. Here is an article tells you how to recover data from oppo on mac. You can check it out.

[Q] Backing up phone wirelessly?

Let me start with a little back drop story of the phone
Shortly after updating to ICS my phone ceased to be detected by several computers
This is the infamous Mobile MTP Device failed problem that some people have been experiencing
After reading several threads on different ways to get the driver to install on the phone I still have not been able to solve it! =(
It has come to me that i should give the factory wipe a try.
I know that the phone does have a back up and sync to google account but how does that work? If i factory data reset the phone will it prompt me to have things restored after the process?
Is there another app/program recommended for backing up and restoring?
I would like to have my app data and phone settings restored, and if possible my sms's
My phone has not been rooted and is on the Telus network
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!!
Yes it will prompt you to recover after you factory reset. Short of rooting I'm not aware of any other backup methods. Maybe someone else can suggest something.

[Q] I did factory reset..

Hi all! I had to do factory reset and I lost some photos.Looking after something that would be able to recover my photos I found out there are some apps for recovering, but all need root permission. If I root my phone I would have a chance to recover photos?
Edit: I did factory reset from bootloader mode

depends on your version of android and if you can enable usb mass storage, have a look here>>>>>http://www.asoftech.com/articles/recover-deleted-photos-from-android.html
I tried Asoftech and others like that (Recuva,Card data recovery etc.) .Most of them didn't recognize my phone..
That's why I started thinking about rooting. And anyway I would like to have root.I saw there are so much cool apps. But now the most important thing is recovering my photos and maybe apps that need root permissions are better?
Most of those programs need a usb device to work. MTP what HTC now is offering is commonly not supported. Best chance is to unlock the bootloader and flash a custom recovery which lets you mount the sdcard as a usb drive and then try to recover lost data.
No guarantees !

Any success with data recovery post-brick factory wipe/reset??

It's looking more and more like I'll be unable to recover this phone with recordings intact. I'd like to know if anyone has had any luck using lost data recovery apps that I'm seeing on the web that claim to be able to recover data after a factory wipe. I've recovered data from a hard drive before so I guess it may also be possible with a phone. Has anyone been successful doing this?

HTC One M8 - Soft brick on unrooted phone (apart from OS upgrades)

I've had my M8 since about the end of 2014. Originally on Android 4, have since done OTA upgrades to 5 and 6 as they were flagged as available by my carrier (UK, O2).
I've never managed to get HTC Backup on my PC to recognise the phone, even with the original USB cable, so have never done a proper backup (Yes. I know). Fortunately for me, my Gmail contacts list was almost up to date, and apart from my calendar, that was the most important thing to save, so I've just had to grin and bear it.
Because of the lack of proper backup and therefore the facility to restore from one, I'd never done a factory reset after the various OS upgrades, which I've been told might have avoided my present situation, which is that I can't get any further than a bootloop situation. Other than that, I can get into recovery mode, but no further.
I've tried clearing the cache, I've tried a factory reset. Neither of those have got me anywhere.
I've no great desire (at present) to go fiddling with rooting or anything clever with the phone, I'd just like to get it working again. I've downloaded Android Studio to get the SDK for ADB but don't really know what I'm doing, and if I mess around without expert advice I could end up with a hard brick - which is why I'm here.
Can anyone give me some guidance about what I need to do to get my phone working again?
Thanks in advance...
Hi, I have the same problem, started a few days ago when I was trying to download VLC from the play store, the phone rebooted and said optimizing apps.... It has been in an optimizing apps bootloop since - it gets to the end, then says starting android then freezes and reboots, then starts again... I tried clearing the cache and doing the factory reset as well but nothing helps. We could really use some expert help on this :S
If a stock phone isn't booting, and factory reset doesn't help, the OS is possibly damaged or corrupted in some way; and needs to be restored.
If your version has RUU, you can try to run that.
If no RUU for your version, then probably your only choice is to unlock the bootloader, install custom recovery, so you can restore a stock TWRP backup from the following thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/help/tutorial-how-to-stock-stock-twrp-t3086860
I am in a very similar situation, apparently because of a botched automatic system update, almost same symptoms as airick94. I haven't tried a factory reset yet though, because I want to try to recover what I can from the internal storage first. Can I do that through ADB even if my phone is not recognised as a device by the computer?

factory reset

hi all, I am planning to buy a Huawei mate 20 X and thought you all will be able to help to clear my doubts. As I know there are ways to get the personal data back even after a factory reset. I have read and tried data recovery softwares to recover files from SD card. As I know, in apple devices, if you factory resets, there is no way of getting your old data back without backups from icloud or itunes. That is a very good option if you are selling your used device so no one can take your personal data. I am planning to sell my device also after some time to upgrade. Is there a way to delete everything permanently in the mobile (factory reset) which no one can recover again? Even after a factory reset, i heard there are 3rd party softwares for Andriod based devices to recover data without any backups. I am a samsung user and planning to move to Mate 20 X. Please help me. Thank you in advance.
