Just wondering, has anyone else in the phoenix area noticed a dramatic increase in data speeds in the last day or so? I'm out near queen creek, I could barely get 4g and now its flying!

Not me. Still erratic as ever. From work (the 101 and I17) varies between like 14MB down this morning to .45 down now.
Still better than my old Sprint 3G hehe
In chandler and its not much better. I have noticed better coverage in Maricopa though?

Reception in Casa Grande is getting a lot better, before it was EDGE and now I'm getting two to three bars of constant 4G. Also areas on the Gila River Indian Reservation areas where there was no reception, getting full EDGE. Tmobile finally updating surrounding areas other than Phoenix and Tucson?
That's what I'm thinking. Casa grand and San tan valley are close to each other.. makes sense

I live in central PHX north of Camelback and I get terrible coverage. Data is nearly completely unusable and calls are not much better. I use wifi at home so it doesn't bother me too much.
usually have good signal everywhere in Phoenix with lde radio, on the other hand get crap signal in must of Tucson

New telus radio gives me better signal strength and maybe slightly better data speeds in Glendale, at home in surprise I'm pulling 4g where I rarely got 3g. On aokp so no its not just the 4g icon always being on. I haven't tested actual speeds, just noticing smoother browsing and usage vs waiting 2 minutes for a thread to load lol.

Getting much better speeds in Fountain Hills.
Yeah i'm in Casa Grande and we don't get constant 4g but definitely way more then we use to

Kind of a stupid topic but thought I would ask. Has anyone else in the Thornhill/Vaughan area noticed much stronger HSPA/3G signal strength?
In my entertainment room in the basement I used to get NO HSPA/3G signal and always switched to Edge (2G) so I can make and receive phone calls. I would also get about 1-2 bars in 2G (Edge). Today however I noticed that I got full bars HSPA/3G and they stay full. I thought it was a bug and noticed my iPhone also had full bars.
So anyone else or am I just bugging out?

You can use something like Open Signal Maps to see the towers around. They probably just put up a new one near your house...

I have no idea but I'm getting nearly 7000mbps in my basement lol.

7000Mb/s or 7000MB/s?
Anyway, regardless of units, you seem to have a super internet connection using HSPA+/HSPA
My guess is 7Mb/s.
I saw that the Verizon LTE booster from Wilson Electronics is finally being sold, the Sleek 4G-V, and was wondering if anyone has tried it and could provide feedback. Thanks!

I have purchased it and have been using it inside my room. Normally the signal will jump to 3g with 1bar and 4g has been very spotty at my house. The signal booster allows my nexus to lock on to 4g at about - 101dbm and speedtest does about 2.5~4.5mb/s now. Without the booster, it will drop to 3g and do about 0.20~0.5mb/s at 1 bar of signal. It does its job and is well worth the investment if you are in a bad reception area.
I need to get something like that

That's exactly what I was hoping. Thanks for the info.

Well, at least in my area that's what I'm running, so hopefully that's a good sign of lte dropping soon (thanks shentel) so here's some 3g speeds, also notice my signal strength, I've gotten 2-3mb down at my school with a full signal, so goooo sprint!!! Lol

Maybe it's just me but in the past week the signal has gotten terrible. I get 4G lte but like no bars. In Areas Where I Normally Get Full Bars And Great Signal . But when I do get is great speeds up to 19mb down .
