Hi.
I'm using CM9 beta 3 on my SGW.
I wonder, is there any way we could make a folder for our apps?
Not on the homescreen, but in the apps drawer.
Thanks in advance.

i don't think that's possible, the trebuchet launcher doesn't support that feature, you could use another launcher, like go launcher or something like that. hope i helped

Try Nova launcher or Apex launcher instead.
I personally prefer Nova, but tastes differ, of course.
-- xda app / CM9b3 / DXKL1 / Galaxy W --
You cannot make folders in cyanogenmod 9 because it's based on the original 4.0.4 without mods forms Samsung, so you can only make folders into the "desktop", but you can't make them in the App Drawer. If you want to, you have to change Launcher... :good:

try the themes given by the devs who made the launchersyou can find a lot of themes on market for free
Themes are themes, launcher is launcher.
Launcher is the home app, for example touchwiz launcher in stock gio.
Cm7 themes are framework mods.

iLauncher or Launcher7 are the best!
Hello.
I've used Go Launcher first, then QQ Launcher and now ADW (included in CyanogenMod 7.2-GIO-KANG). My opinion is that every launcher had his specific and pros or cons. Try the most popular of them and use the one u like most. Because for me or other a launcher is great but for you might suck.
Best wishes!
hi, does anyone know if touchwiz 4.5 works on ics? am runnin omega 3.2 ics rom now and i really want touchwiz 4.5 thanks

I was using Omega but the Go Launcher was awesome, I have now moved to Resurrection Rom 9.6 unfortunately its a full wipe ROM but it works amazingly with the NOVA Launcher. I find the Touchwiz ok but NOVA gives a better experience in ICS
I tried to use it on resurrection 9.6..I doesn't work...I liked Nova launcher but it has very limited options and I don't like the black back ground in application drawer... two was simple and yet configurable and I liked the slightly transparent background and the bounce effect in application drawer and home screen which could be configured..again this feature is missing in Nova launcher...I feel Nova launcher has very limited options

thats exactly why a dont like nova launcher to mate. the app drawer in touchwiz is better. hopefully someone will fix it to make it compatable

If you are on ICS, then use Nova Launcher. It's only for CM9, and it is the same, as Trebuchet but with great options.

Hello all
I am using official ICS on the SGH-T989 and have it rooted (so good to remove all the bloat) But one question, I prefer how Apex Launcher works and feels but anyways to use the calender widget on it?
I know it works well with touchwiz (I suppose that's the name of stock/official launcer) but I cant seem to add it on Apex )
Thanks for the help!
In razr, the motoblur calendar widget works fine with apex...

None of the ones I've tried from there work either. I don't see the point in the fancy Apex ui if I can't actually use it.

TW Launcher is Samsung ...
Take Nova Launcher or Apex Launcher and this Launcher make very nice JOB or look here in XDA TW Launcher 5...
There's one in the galaxy nexus themes and apps section, you'll have to find it, but I've used it before and it works just fine. Or the second alternative is to use the search function and find it, that would have worked instead of creating a new post.
You can't have two launcher without root ... Just search in galaxy nexus themes and apps ull find it its by omarmc as I remember .....just search before post .

Yes when will you change the Launcher2.apk (is TW) then you need root.
Install the Nova Launcher and runs really well.
You can adjust and change as many gestures, icons, dock and more and it runs without stuttering or crash.
For me, the best launcher in Android systems.

This will work with 4.3 but is buggy... the rendering differences between TW and 4.3 frameworks causes the page transitions to be 'flicky' ... not at all fluid.

WTH do you want to pollute a nexus with touchwiz of all things? Makes no sense. As others say use quality like nova /paid version. It is amazing. People root Samsung to get rid of touchwiz. Buy a Samsung
Sent by reversed alian technology.
It's a matter of likes and dislikes. Did anyone stop people from removing touchwiz? Why would you stop someone from installing it then?
