Adw vs Launcher pro

Just got this phone.. so sick..
I bought launcher pro for my evo a while ago.. its OK, but haven't used it in a while... do you guys like adw better??any pros or cons for each???

Launcher pro has the sense like widgets etc... as far as customizing goes i think adw ex has the advantage but i stick with launcher pro. Im fully satisfied with it.

Out of these 2 I like ADW EX the best, but I really am beginning to like the TW launcher a lot right now.

I spent $15 and bought spb launcher awhile back just to try something different and it was an amazing launcher... But I went back to launcher pro after only 2 or 3 days. ADW is pretty good I think but I'm too used to the way launcher pro runs.

I used to live and die but ADW EX...but it failed me many times...no I'm on Go Launcher EX and love it. Tons of customization

Had pro plus for a year. No more updates and always fc on my g2. Now I'm using Go launcher ex.

Had launcher pro.. Loved it but hard to Rly customize... Adw ex.. I'm usin it now Rly easy to customize.. That's y I switched... Adw over launcher pro in my book

I've paid for both. Now using ADW EX and loving it.

Go Launcher > adw and launcher pro, but between the latter two I prefer adw.

Zeam Launcher

I use Zeam launcher and i notice is very unpopular, in my opinion is pretty great. Is very minimal, only the essentials and although simplistic it looks beautiful. With an ICS theme or rom it looks in my opinion perfect, I encourage it.

Another fan of Zeam launcher.

The problem with the FTL launcher is that it doesn't have many options, but it is fast.

Yes indeed, I only miss the 5 column option. But I'm still very stratified with it.

I love Balancer Launcher but then again I like the style of the icons. (iphone ish)

Any launcher with small dock icons is in my opinion unusable. I don't know which idiot though of the idea to make the most frequently used icons the smallest. What a horrible idea...

using Zeam as well for some time. it does what i need

+1 fantastic little launcher, pretty customizable too, and no lag, works a treat, used it on all my android phones.

I didnt like launcher that can't customise the apps in Menu. So i vote GO Launcher the best if the best! still using it. in fact, :thumbup: Mom use it on her G.Nexus.. ^(oo)^

touchwiz 4.5 on ics

hi, does anyone know if touchwiz 4.5 works on ics? am runnin omega 3.2 ics rom now and i really want touchwiz 4.5 thanks

I was using Omega but the Go Launcher was awesome, I have now moved to Resurrection Rom 9.6 unfortunately its a full wipe ROM but it works amazingly with the NOVA Launcher. I find the Touchwiz ok but NOVA gives a better experience in ICS

I tried to use it on resurrection 9.6..I doesn't work...I liked Nova launcher but it has very limited options and I don't like the black back ground in application drawer... two was simple and yet configurable and I liked the slightly transparent background and the bounce effect in application drawer and home screen which could be configured..again this feature is missing in Nova launcher...I feel Nova launcher has very limited options

thats exactly why a dont like nova launcher to mate. the app drawer in touchwiz is better. hopefully someone will fix it to make it compatable

I think best launcher go launcher
It looks good . It has more settings
And widgets ... etc
But i think it eats some ram

If you are on ICS, then use Nova Launcher. It's only for CM9, and it is the same, as Trebuchet but with great options.

I use iLauncher because I like iOS and the launcher is silky smooth too. But it seems that the devs gave no updates anymore...

Yes, but iLauncher is much more smooth and uses iPhone's font. And it has more iOS icon.

Zeam launcher is light

For GB zeam launcher is smoothest and very low RAM consume.,
But for ICS i think Nova launcher is best, costumizable, and smooth

smoothest one ive ever tried is launcher 8 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lx.launcher8&hl=en its fast and simple but won't b interesting unless ur into windows phone 8 style

Lightning Launcher
The installer size is only 198 KiB.

If you can stand with just basic features, and you don't give a f**k with customization, then Lightning Launcher is your best choice. (Links in pep's post, just above mine). It is said that it is Super-customizable. (However when I used ssLauncher I realized a super-customizable launcher should be no grids so I can determine what's the best for my screen).
But if you give f**k to those and you want to express yourself (or just take some from MyColorScreen) then you may want to try ssLauncher, even if in an instructions he/she instructs to use any launcher.

Well, LL is super-customizable alright... you can disable its grid, you can rotate icons and widgets, you can scroll any ways (left-right but also up-down), you can use labels instead of icons, and labels/icons can open a fully-customizable "surface" not just an icon-list folder...
What it doesn't have, is slick animations.

i like stock launcher trebuchet 1.0 no problem for me so smooth and simple

Checkout Holo Launcher as well as GO launcher. Both work well on my phone.

I think so... Holo launcher is good.

trebuchet IS THE BEST

FTL launcher is nice! You just need a Sense 4 clock
Too much flashing! I'm blinded on my Galaxy W!

with ics or jb i would prefer apex. with all the things mentioned above, i think it's somewhere in the middle, balanced.

So far I think next launcher is the smoothest, but its lack if costumization

I do like launcher pro. Very simple, so don't have greatest "addons" in relation with the others. Very fast as well. I did like it between all I tried
