Just wondering if anyone is experiencing your own voice echo from your speaker or bluetooth while making voice call?
None here, using a Jawbone Icon. Have you tried to re-pair the headset/earpiece?
I've had some problems with Bluetooth devices and sometimes that fixes whatever the problem was.

I have mad echo on CM9/CM10, not for me, rather for the person on the other end whenever I am using speakerphone. It is only with AOSP based ROMs, not Touchwiz based ROMs. Touchwiz based ROMs work perfectly.

same problem here with echo in speakerphone mode, running CM9
same problem here, friends complaining about huge echo when i'm in speakerphone mode, they say it's their own voice they hear echoing.
i would assume this is an issue of echo cancellation missing when speakerphone mode is active.
ie. sound from my phone's speaker feeding back into the phone's microphone.
Currently running:
CM9 nightly 2012-08-19 mtd on SGS i9000 international.
with icy glitch kernel for the overclocking.
I should also note that i have installed the sipdroid app, could this interfere with the speakerphone?

The same issue was just reported to me on my Galaxy S (i9000), running last nightly build of CM10, so it's not just S2 issue.
Edit: I checked i9000 CM10 forum and found the solution. In Advanced Settings -> In-Call Volume Controls -> Speakerphone Mic -> reduced it from 31 to about 18. The other side can still hear me well, however the echo disappeared.
Did you try disabling "noise cancellation" in the dialers settings? Worked for me.

Have this annoying problem that when I when I make a voice call the person on the other side hears my voice but I can't hear theirs. When this happens I also can't hear the dial tone before the one way conversation starts. 1 out of 4/5 calls this happens
Does anyone experience the same problem?

hi i have been having this problem on various 4.2 and 4.3 aosp roms. after a lot of trial and error i found that the in call sound worked if some sound was played before dialing or receiving for the first time. it could be touch pad sound or unlock sound or dial pad sound. as i dont enable any of these i used tasker to play a short sound immediately after every boot and the in call sound has become consistent after using this method
hope this helps
Does anyone else have problems with their mic when answering incoming calls? I answer the call but the person on the other end can't hear me regardless if the speakerphone is on. I'm forced to en the call and then call them back. The person has no problems hearing me at that point.
I've used voice recorder to test the mic and it picks up my voice no problem.
Thoughts?

That's odd. Sounds like a hardware problem. You can try a few simple things like try flashing a different rom and see if you have the same problem.
Or you can take it in to the Sprint Store and see if they can repair it
Since I ported my number into Google Voice, I have been using Hangouts Dialer as my go-to voice service on my S3. My calls will usually connect after a 3-5 second pause. I can then hear the other person crystal clear, but they can only hear my voice garbled and extremely low volume. It doesn't matter if I'm on WiFi or mobile data. It doesn't matter if I make the call or receive the call. I am currently using PAC-man ROM 4.4.4.RC-3. Does anyone else have this issue or know how to solve it? Is there anyone who has been using Hangouts Dialer regularly that does not have this issue that can maybe help? Thank you!
OK, so after further testing I have discovered that Hangouts is using the wrong microphone for audio. It seems to be using the speakerphone microphone (at the top of the phone) instead of the handset microphone at the bottom. Is there any way to switch the microphone that is being used for just this application?
I've been having this issue when I try dialing out with bluetooth enabled and routing to my car or bluetooth headset, that the ringing on the other end does not play. It is just silence until someone picks up and says hello. This is really strange and I'm pretty sure not supposed to be like this. Is there any app or process that when disabled could cause this? I am the latest stock version on T Mobile 2.51.531.3. Anyone else have this issue?
