Caller ID Voice???? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

Hey, trying to help a friend out who has a Note II. Does anyone know if the Galaxy Note II has the Voice Caller ID (it announces who is calling) function and if so, how do you turn it on and off?

[Q] Is it possible to wake the phone using bluetooth call button?

Greetings:
I use Motorola HX550 bluetooth headset with vlingo to place call and navigation. This method never wakes the phone up to perform these functions. In fact, I have to manually push the power/wake button on the phone then push the headset call button to launch voice talk. Is there any setting I can do to use the headset call button to wake the phone up?
My current phone settings are as follow:
Voice input and output - Voice recognition settings:
- Listen over bluetooth ON
Voice talk - Voice talk setting:
- Launch on Bluetooth - ON
- Wake up command - ON
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Replace integrated VLINGO with updated VLINGO?

Hello,
VLINGO works much more reliably for my voice recognition than google voice recognition for dialing.
Is there a way to update it to the newer VLINGO but default make it go to the car mode? I only want to use VLINGO for dialing by names from my contacts or by number e.g. dial 0118 999 881 999 119 725, 3.
The integrated one often just sits there once activated so you can say call home unless you tap the screen. I'd prefer not to have to look at my screen and tap to place a call while driving. It would be best if I could just tap my headset as I can with the integrated VLINGO. I tried installing the new VLINGO but it doesn't seem to activate when using my headset, it goes to the integrated one.
Thanks

Thanks!! The 'beeping in my ear' during a call, due to Proximitry setting NOT turning keypad off during a call was driving me nuts ..
Just why it's not 'Turn keypad OFF' as default is amazing ... as is fact that all such phone settings are not included in Jellybeans 4.1.1 's 'Settings' system !

ur welcome
Hey..please help me. i'm having samsung galaxy note 2 and enabled the voice commands. I'm able to take pictures or no alarm or operate music player with my voice is used by using commands like volume up, volume down, shoot, capture Etc. i was unable to voice command for answering and rejecting calls via voice but when somebody calls me the option doesn't come up and even i speak answer or reject it comes with no effect on the phone i don't know why why this is happening?
I would like to have a setting where I can keep the phone vibrating when there is an incoming call if headphones are plugged in.
Reason for this is I want to keep my headphones plugged in bur off my ears unless a call is coming.
Secondly my headphones don't play a ring tone on incoming calls even when in my ear. If music is playing it will just go silent when call is incoming.
Can anyone help me fix these two issues.
I have a problem, during a call, when I receive a phone call, the other person can hear a sound knowing I'm being called, same with messages..., how can I deactivate that?
I ported a rom.. When i m receiveing calls... Vibration delay is very short... How to solve it?

Fix audio recording with Voice Match enabled (temporary workaround)

Probably many of you have faced the bug with audio not being recorded in apps like camera, WhatsApp, Telegram... You can try disabling Voice Match. If this works, audio recording will be permanently fixed but you won't be able to use the voice assistant.
If you still want to use Voice Match while being able to record audio in any app, I found this workaround:
1. Wipe Google app data.
2. Go to Settings/Apps & Notifications/Default apps and set Google as Assist app.
3. Press back and enter the 'Assist app' settings ⚙, enable 'Voice Match', enable 'Hey Google' and follow the steps to set the voice command.
4. Go back to Default apps/Assist app,
select 'None' and then select 'Google' again.
5. Go back to 'Voice Match', disable 'Hey Google' and re-enable it again.
It sounds weird but it works. The only 'little' downside is that this is a temporary workaround because every reboot will mute your audio records and you will have to repeat steps 4 and 5.
Hope this helped.
Thanks for the useful info!
