Greetings:
I use Motorola HX550 bluetooth headset with vlingo to place call and navigation. This method never wakes the phone up to perform these functions. In fact, I have to manually push the power/wake button on the phone then push the headset call button to launch voice talk. Is there any setting I can do to use the headset call button to wake the phone up?
My current phone settings are as follow:
Voice input and output - Voice recognition settings:
- Listen over bluetooth ON
Voice talk - Voice talk setting:
- Launch on Bluetooth - ON
- Wake up command - ON
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have TyTN with Windows Mobile 6.1 - thistime without integrated voice dial with headset (supporting A2DP and AVRCP) Therefore I have installed 3rd party app for voice dial. (VITO VoiceDialer)
But unfortunatly the button on headset for speed dial is not working. (other buttons like music forward/backward, redial last number are working)
Is there any way to hook the headset-button or emulate it as HW button on device. Such as Button 1, Button 2 etc.? Or assign default voice dial application?
Thank you for any tip
still not solved
I have found tutorial for eten, but not working on my tytn, rly weird

Hello,
VLINGO works much more reliably for my voice recognition than google voice recognition for dialing.
Is there a way to update it to the newer VLINGO but default make it go to the car mode? I only want to use VLINGO for dialing by names from my contacts or by number e.g. dial 0118 999 881 999 119 725, 3.
The integrated one often just sits there once activated so you can say call home unless you tap the screen. I'd prefer not to have to look at my screen and tap to place a call while driving. It would be best if I could just tap my headset as I can with the integrated VLINGO. I tried installing the new VLINGO but it doesn't seem to activate when using my headset, it goes to the integrated one.
Thanks
Is there a way to have the voice control activate from the handsfree headset button? or even assigning one of the buttons to activate it after a long press?
So I'm using the Plantronics M20 bluetooth headset (standard universal). When my screen is off and i hold the talk button for two seconds to activate voice talk, nothing happens until i manually turn on my phone's screen, which seems counter intuitive to the purpose of a bluetooth headset. When the screen is on and i trigger voice talk, it brings up the app and commands with no problem. My question is, is there a way to make it so the phone will wake up when activating voice talk, rather than having to manually wake up my phone before being able to give commands? I tried using vlingo and it gives me the same problems. Also im using Mijj's blended ICS if that makes a difference.
derp
nevermind i figured it out... for those of you who are wondering, if you manually lock your screen to go into standby mode, then it will require you manually turning it on before entering voice talk. which makes sense i suppose. so if you let your phone go into standby mode after waiting (15 seconds or whatever you have it set to) then you can wake it up with your bluetooth's voice talk command. hope this helps someone lol
How can I set my Motorokr S305 to launch Voice Commands instead of Voice Dialer when I push the call button? Also I'd like to remap long pressing the call button, which is currently fixed to dialing the last dialed number.
