Hello Guys!
I hope anybody can help me. I have a new sd card and where did get all data from the old to the new card, which I still lack is my music playlist, can someone tell me where can I find it on the sd card?
Already own searched but unfortunately without success!
The music playlist is just a link to the file on the SD Card. Restore the data from the other SD Card exactly as it was onto the new one and it should work. Then rescan you media on your preferred player
I bought the xda app. Problem?

I am using a 64gb SD card with my s3 and want to download my music to it. Aside from the no apps to SD card issue, the Amazon mp3 app lacks the option to save data to SD.
I moved the data folder to the SD card and music plays fine. After that, I renamed the amazon folder on the internal storage and tried a download. The app created a new folder and downloaded the album to internal storage.
Any ideas on how to get my downloads headed straight to the sd card?
Stock Sprint 32gb s3. Sandisk 64gb class 10 card.
Thanks!
I would like the answer to this as well if anyone knows
Pretty sure this is an issue with the app itself. I wonder if you could create a symbolic link to the extSD card to fool the app into storing the files there instead. Anyone?
What I do is everytime I download some music from AmazonMP3 is just cut and paste the music folder to the extSdCard. Not sure how the whole symlink thing works.
Play music download to the SD card rather than internal
Very vag.... Can you please be a bit more specific????
I download music to my sd card all the time and play it using any number of music players.

I don't think you can set it up in Google Music to download them to the SD card. You can use a file manager like Root Explorer or something and maybe manually move them to the SD card.

would it still see them?
They aren't visible anyway I believe but for room you could find where it downloads and use a symlink?
So says Latinmaxima, so it shall be done!
Everytime I put a new song + videos to my external SD Card, the files will not play properly. All i hear from the music are scribbles and videos won't even show up on the video app.
But the files run fine when i put them on the internal memory.
Any suggestions?

I've done that, and also o nthe computer to FAT32
none of the solutions worked.
Maybe a faulty sd card? I got it off of ebay.
Has anyone found a way to get the SD Card permissions fixed on 4.4.2? I've tried the sd card fix, but it hasn't worked. I can view pictures and videos from my sd card, but the music on my sd card cannot be played as the file is not supported. However, if I move the mp3 to the internal sd card, then the music will start playing. Has anyone come up with a better solution for this?

Does anyone understand why the external sd card doesn't show in DoubleTwist Airsync? Or know a workaround?
I use App2SD but doubletwist has installed in internal storage. I am hoping to use Airsync because Google Play Music doesn't seem to like using the external SD card, but have paid and found out it is not necessarily going to work. DoubleTwist support has published information on this issue but I don't understand most of what they are saying. Here is their link https://www.doubletwist.com/help/question/what-are-the-changes-to-sd-card-support-in-android-44-kitkat/
Oops! I think I've sorted it. Reinstalled app2sd (I must have forgotten to install it after last Eragon upgrade. Now syncing music to external SD card.
