Does anyone understand why the external sd card doesn't show in DoubleTwist Airsync? Or know a workaround?
I use App2SD but doubletwist has installed in internal storage. I am hoping to use Airsync because Google Play Music doesn't seem to like using the external SD card, but have paid and found out it is not necessarily going to work. DoubleTwist support has published information on this issue but I don't understand most of what they are saying. Here is their link https://www.doubletwist.com/help/question/what-are-the-changes-to-sd-card-support-in-android-44-kitkat/
Oops! I think I've sorted it. Reinstalled app2sd (I must have forgotten to install it after last Eragon upgrade. Now syncing music to external SD card.

I am using a 64gb SD card with my s3 and want to download my music to it. Aside from the no apps to SD card issue, the Amazon mp3 app lacks the option to save data to SD.
I moved the data folder to the SD card and music plays fine. After that, I renamed the amazon folder on the internal storage and tried a download. The app created a new folder and downloaded the album to internal storage.
Any ideas on how to get my downloads headed straight to the sd card?
Stock Sprint 32gb s3. Sandisk 64gb class 10 card.
Thanks!
I would like the answer to this as well if anyone knows
Pretty sure this is an issue with the app itself. I wonder if you could create a symbolic link to the extSD card to fool the app into storing the files there instead. Anyone?
What I do is everytime I download some music from AmazonMP3 is just cut and paste the music folder to the extSdCard. Not sure how the whole symlink thing works.
Hello Guys!
I hope anybody can help me. I have a new sd card and where did get all data from the old to the new card, which I still lack is my music playlist, can someone tell me where can I find it on the sd card?
Already own searched but unfortunately without success!
The music playlist is just a link to the file on the SD Card. Restore the data from the other SD Card exactly as it was onto the new one and it should work. Then rescan you media on your preferred player
I bought the xda app. Problem?
Are there any hacks to force Amazon MP3 to download songs to the external SD card?

Just been looking at this too. Thought I could get clever with Android being basically Linux and move amazonmp3 to the external SD then do a symlink. But of course, durrrr, the SD card is in FAT32 format, which doesn't support symlinks.
amazonmp3 does recognise music on the external SD card, so I suppose you could move all the existing music across and then use some kind of automation (probably llama?) to do an overnight move of any newly downloaded music from virtual to external.
Bit of a kludge though. We could do with a cloud service that'll let you specify where the cache should go.

Not so much the cache, as I'd like purchased music downloads to go on the sd card so PowerAMP can read them.
I've just been moving the folder manually every few months.
Hi guys,
I have read some topics here but couldn't really find my exact issue.
I have a stock G3, no root, with Loolipop. I use an SD card (16 Gb), but for some strange reason, the apps are not moved to it, even though in app settings, it says they are stored on the SD card.
It is like it is seeing it's own internal storage like the SD card, without actually using the real SD card.
The SD card is fine, The system can write on it with no issues. I store the photos and videos taken on it, and they are actually stored there as I have checked.
Anyone have any ideas what the issue may be, and what is the solution?
Thanks
Have you tried an app2sd from the play store?
Not one, but several apps. All they do is take me to the app settings where I have to click on Move to SD.
From what I have read, this issue has to do with how Lollipop is now managing the SD card. Maybe I am mistaking, perhaps it is an LG issue.
I couldn't find any other relevant information.
Hi guys,
I have searched but cant find anything that matches my questions. I updated to 6.0 the other day and I formatted my SD Card as internal storage. It went ok and stated that 400mb could be moved which I did.
My issues are that I was led to believe once this was all set up any app could be moved to the SD card but thats not the case apps like Facebook cant be moved...is this the same for everyone?
And more importantly when I download a new app it installs to internal as default but then I can choose to move it manually to the Sandisk SD. Surely they should install the SD as default or split at least? at this rate the internal storage will continue to get full and nothing on the SD that's meant to be treated in the same way.
Any advice would be great!
Thank you
Anyone? someone else must be using the SD as internal memory?
me other issue

and
some apps in the SD it display disabled but i can run the apps.
and some are in all apps show on SD card , when i go to SD tab it dont see the apps "LIKE fun Fit"
