that those who have maximus installed on their phone and updated their HB are stuck with custom roms for the time being?
eg they cannot install a RUU to go back to stock and then ota JB?
You are correct, as far as i know there is no official JB-RUU......

Doesn't bother me lol

Hi @ll,
i am on a custom rom. In the moment on Android Revolution HD 9.1.
My problem is that on this rom and on others my g-sensor will not work.
Now i must go back to stock an send it for repair.
I have the CID HTC__102.
I know that this is HTC_Ger but i cant find the RUU for install.
Thanks for yor answers :good:
See this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=30294423&postcount=1731
HTC__102 is included in 2.17.401.2 RUU
i am just downloading RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_HTC_Europe_1.29.401.11_Radio_1.1204.105.14_release_260491_signed.exe
Thanks for your help
Why don't you take the latest 2.17 base ? It is very smooth and nice.
When you installed 1.29.401.11, it will still ask you to do OTA update to 2.17.401.2
Yes it did and now i am back in stock. Thanks for help

I'm currently using a custom rom of football, HTC One maXimus V3.2. Which come with sense.
When the official update come later this month, will I be able to update it directly through software update (there is) or I need to reinstall the stock rom.
Thanks in advance.

If you want the ota official update, you have to get the stock rom AND recovery back. You don't have to relock the bootloader though. But do this only when the update for your region is available.
Also do some search in the forums please.

Or you can wait for the Rom developer to update it to jelly bean

So it's possible to install custom jelly bean without update hboot or similar?
Skickat från min HTC One X via Tapatalk 2
No its not. You need the latest firmware to run jelly bean with Sense.

yes i think its possible to update to JB but without sense
But is it possible to put the new hboot in ardh9.7
With the new hboot (which only works for users that have the right CID) you can run the Sense jelly bean leak but not older versions based on Android 4.0.4. Not even CM10 since it is made for the older 2.17 base.

Damn, i'm gonna wait, i have no choice lol
Currently, hboot 1.23 is required and only run on the Sense JB;
hboot 1.23 refuse to boot on others ROM.
If you go with Sense JB leaked now, you also unable to flash 2.17 RUU back to persue official OTA later since hboot 1.23 is newer hboot 1.12 included in 2.17 RUU.

Its recommended that you wait for the official release, you will receive it on your phone when it gets released.(should get it by the end of this month, if your phone is not branded by your carrier)
... That is all.

Yes I do unlocked my bootloader and rooted but kept it S-On....I manage to tried kingsense custom rom but since it's only
on Sense 5.5 and it has some Chinese module, I decided to go back to stock (Sense 6.0) and manage to applied OTA update.

How did you unlock and root. Via HTCdev I am not able to unlock. Tried model 'all other supported device's, 'htc one' (m7) and 'htc desire*' but all unsuccessful. Could you help me out. BTW I've already version 1.29.708.1 with hboot 3.18 and sense 6
