Sorry,but when I rooted my Note to it was ALJ1 I flashed the revolution 4.0 everything works perfect but now it's ALJ2.
Is that a problem?

Yes update is released named value pack, not sure how will be distributed for your region but for me Czech republic is ready and have installed a week ago

The 'Value Pack' update has only been released in a few countries (Slovakia,Czech,Romania) so the rest of us still waiting...Hurry up Sammy:banghead:

Hye i just bought my sgw about a month ago,a week ago there an update for my phone.After installing the updating files my phones reboot.At 29% while installed its says platforms verified failed.And i didn't root my phones yet.Its says please use Kies or contact Samsung Developers..Actually i did installed a third party apps called Blackmart Alpha.Do i need to uninstall thats apps and try updating my phones again?Help me..

No need lah~ Blackmart doesn't affect the updating. I have tried updating on stock rom with blackmart installed.
U can try again and make sure your internet connection is good.

Thanks for your concern bro..But i've downloading the updates 3 times today.After my phones reboot and install the firmware at 29% it stopped and say platform verify failed...below my screenshot.Hope you can figured out coz this is my first Android phone.
Guys don't discuss on Warez ere....Blackmart is not accepted ere...

Just check out my post here regarding failed Kies FW update...
Kies does this all the time......craps out when attempting upgrade, after downloading full update.....
The good news is that the downloaded file (aaaaabbbbcccdddd.tar.md5 is probably still on your PC, in temp folder somewhere....and this can be flashed as one package with ODIN.....
Check out my post here, in thread on how to retrieve and backup failed Kies update...and how to find the file....happy hunting.....
Ohhh and BTW, keep the warez off the forum...OK!!!

I have had a quick scan through the dev sections and so on before asking this..
One of the lads at work has a S3 and he is dual booting roms - is this possible with any of the Note2 kernels or roms? (not sure how it all works being totally honest either)..
(looking to flash one of the touchwiz based roms and over time move over to the CM10 roms where they stabilise a little more)

You could probably use CWM to switch between two separate backups of different ROM's, but that would be very cumbersome.
I would also want to know if this is possible with our SGN2 n7100.

This is from the ASUS forum. Sadly it will only work with Linux. So I'm wondering if there's anyone here who can pick at this and see if something can be created for Windows as I cannot for the life of me get Ubuntu or any other Linux system to install on Win 10

I would be able to uptade by OTA like I'm never rooted just removing the root with SuperSu?
So many questions haha. I was used to do this in Motorola devices - it was so easy - and now i'm feelig as a newbie again!
