Trying to get back my stock ROM. - HTC One X

Hello,
My phone is a Vodafone branded One X from Germany, but I cannot find a default stock ROM for it, http://htcruu.com/?dir=Endeavor didn't list one for me.
Anyone knows where to get it?
Thanks in advance,
Darkshade

Look a little better:
RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_Vodafone_CH-DE_1.26.166.2_Radio_1.1204.90.13_release_251279_signed.exe
(From htcruu.com)
EDIT: But, I would suggest you verify which CID you have and what is your basic version (fastboot getvar version-main, if yoou know what I mean).

Are you sure? I don't really know much about it, but will I be able to update to JB with this version, when ever vodafone releases it?

Have you already update your Hboot for a custom JB rom?

A ruu with hboot 1.29 or 1.28 is absolutely useless .... he needs a ruu based on 2.17. It's pretty impossible to downgrade the hboot !

So what do you suggest me to do when I want to go to JB in the future?

as far as i know and please correct me if i'm wrong, you have 4 options
1 wait or search more for a branded 2.17 ruu
2 get a stock non rooted backup rom from somebody else that is branded with the same carrier and specifics
3 update your hboot with the leaked JB hboot/firmware if your CID supports it and flash a JB rom
4 if you made a backup from you're own official rom you can go back to that one !
These are the options you have .... I believe

[Q] Help updating the firmware HTC_621 CID Taiwanese version.

Hey all. This happens to be my first ever post, I however have been using XDA-forums for years now so I am not new.
I currently own an HOX imported from Taiwan im guessing since its HTC_621 CID.
I've been running Insert Coins roms for the last 4 months and am currently stuck on 9.7.0 (last ICS build)
Obviously just downloading the latest 11.5 build from BAADNEWZ (Insert Coin Dev) then flash the boot.img file through fastboot will NOT work.
Im still on old HBOOT- 0.95.0000.
1. How do I succesfully flash the firmware and make it say HBOOT 3.1?
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip doesnt work when im in fastboot mode and even after the fastboot oem rebootRUU. I get the error adopting the signature contained in this image FAILED <remote:99 unknown fail>
Can anyone shed some light on this, I must have missed something somewhere.
Cheers
Check if your cid is compatible (search) and follow guides !
There is enough to find in your case !
Otherwise go back to stock and wait for the official update !

My CID is part of the first wave of updates last week, I know its compatible, my Hboot is refusing to update though. Can someone help me update my firmware? maybe there are a few different firmwares for the CID HTC_621?
Why not wait for the official update. If you brick you're phone while updating there is no way back !
Is ics not good enough anymore ?

I'm led to beleive you can flash that RUU to convert from chungwha to unbranded, and then you might get the OTA or at least be able to.m flash it manually.
So you're suggesting I should update via RUU irrelevant of my CID? Where might one find this RUU that is compatible with my version number?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Hmm is that possible ? I thought it was only possible with S-OFF to flash other RUU's with different CID's to go from branded to unbranded phone.
Or am i confused in this matter ?

If you already download matching nandroid backup for your cid, just extract the zip file in folder clockworkmod/backup WITHOUT renaming it. Copy the boot.img from that folder to your working folder on your pc. Flash the boot.img. Then restore the backup in recovery.

sorry for being such a noob but i really can't put things together on this....
I just got my one x yesterday and it has all the singapore and thai language and keyboard but i want the euro version the store i bought it from knows nothing about his or what to do.....also my storage only shows 10GB!!!! shouldn't be 32??? so i read about it and from what i understand that a software change might fix this as well.
so my software number shows 3.14.707.24 and i m downloading now the RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.14.401.27_Radio_5.1204.162.29_release_298897_signed.exe)
my radio in bootloader shows the same radio number here and my hboot is 1.36000.
so please help me out on this one, is the file that i am downloading now possible to install on my one x? no boot loader unlock or root just plain stock rom installation, is it possible??? thank you very much.

How to get back to Stock One X

Hi there,
now I really need your help,

---------- Post added at 02:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:03 PM ----------
What you can try to do is to flash a nandroid backup matching your cid number, the nandroid will have a higher software number so it will start with 2.17.207.**. Do a full wipe and restore that nandroid with the boot.img and after that you flash back the 2.17 stock recovery and you are back on stock to obtain the JB update !

What I am wondering about, I bought the device without a contract, so it should be unbranded.

Strange ? HTC__102 is unbranded yes, O2__102 is from a carrier if i'm not mistaken ! Otherwise it also should be HTC__102
You bought it from a store ? Or second hand ? And you are running it with the O2 carrier ?

Well actually not that i know of ! The fastboot command gives the real cid from the phone and not a software generated cid number !
Now you are on stock 2.17 software .... if you flash back the 2.17 stock recovery you are also ready to update to JB when the provider rolls it out !
This is the stock 2.17 recovery

You updated the hboot to 1.39 and i think the ruu comes with hboot 1.36 so that's a downgrade to the hboot and that is not possible ! I think that's why you get an error !
You should unlock the bootloader again and flash the custom recovery and then flash a custom rom......or a stock like custom rom....

yeah thats all good, I just havent found any instructions (yes im a semi noob at this) that don't involve using .exe files when installing RUU's
I upgraded a VODAP021 One X a week ago from HBOOT 1.12. I didn't need to run a RUU in order to upgrade, because Vodafone has already released an OTA for Jellybean that takes your HBOOT to 1.36. I'd imagine it would be the same case for you. All you need to do is make sure you're running stock Vodafone ROM and stock recovery.

Have you read my question, or you have reply without do it?
A) I've an European HOX (not Asian).
B) I mounted the ARHD 21 that is based on 3.20.401.1 and I can't use a RUU just because I there isn't a RUU compatible with my software version.

Nobody told you to download the RUU provided in the link that i've sent you.. I just thought you needed a procedure and there it is.. maybe this can help you http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=30580283. If you can't use a RUU (or you don't know how to) then try to restore a backup.. you can find them in development section
Give me the output of :
Fastboot getvar version-main
Post it here please......then i can give you proper help
