Got AT&T Galaxy Note II - Questions? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

I picked up the AT&T version of the Galaxy Note II at tonight's launch in NYC. I won't post a system dump, as I'm not eager to get my press credentials revoked, but I will screenshot whatever (including proof, if requested) and answer questions that'll help anyone decide whether to pre-order.
A few early thoughts:
The black/gray model is really nice. Very interesting texture on the back cover
Samsung keyboard is amazing. Includes S-Pen support + Swiftkey + Swype in a single keyboard
I don't believe there is multi-windows yet, like the T-Mobile version. How can I test to be sure?
Should I chance root? I'd really like Titanium Backup on here
Samsung's features are much more useful than I expected. The more I use their phones, the more tempted I am to stay on (heavily modified) stock rather than a CM ROM

I might have just been failing at searching but was looking to see what the ATT branding looked like. If you could post a picture or description I would appreciate it.

I can't find it right now, but it's been shown in official press shots from AT&T. It's just this logo without the letters. It's pretty minimal compared to Verizon's on just the back alone. Don't even get me started on their home button. Do you see anything about FM radio?

There's an AT&T logo on the back cover. That's it. With the flip case, there's no branding at all.

Can you turn LTE off? How zippy is the device with the Exynos processor and 2GB of ram? How's the signal and download speeds?

How's the battery life? Would really appreciate if you could tell us how long the battery lasts with LTE
Thank you

Can't turn LTE off in the settings, but changing APNs should work fine.
It's VERY smooth and fast. Much more so than my CM10 Note I. Any benchmarks I should try?
Sitting next to the Note I, it has the same number of bars (for what that's worth) and gets on LTE 11-12 mbps down, 6-8 up, but I'm sure I'll get faster speeds when out of the 'burbs tomorrow. I don't get LTE on my Note I (long story), so I can't compare. If there's a signal test I should run, let me know.

I'll try to monitor battery life tomorrow, once I've got a full charge. My moderate usage at work should be good for a battery life test. Should I leave wifi off for best LTE results?

I'd been told previously that since the LTE and HSPA radios are the same on AT&T devices, turning off LTE saves no battery. Is that true?

So I left the house at 7:50 this morning with both phones at ~100%. Even though I used the Note II on my entire commute, and my CM10 Note I sat in my bag with the screen off, the Note II is significantly beating the Note I in battery life. Check out the screenshots.

Surprisingly, AT&T's branding actually looks good on the Note II., unlike Verizon's monstrosity on the home button.

Dropbox
Just was wandering if the ATT version got to get the free 50gb 2year dropbox also.
Thx Wicklet

Could you run some benchmarks? I saw a video showing the US version was scoring about 30% lower in benchmarks... Can't seem to find the video now though. :\
I don't see any reason why it would be slower, just curious though.

OP, maybe this is a dumb question, but can you take some actual pictures of the device and post them on here? Can't seem to find any pictures to show off the Titatium Grey anywhere.
I'd also love to see some benchmarks. This thing is running the Exynos processor right?
I am sure with custom roms there will be a GSM toggle to turn off LTE and use only HSPA+.

How about bloatware and carrier unlocking? I currently have an iPhone4 that my work supplies. I'm thinking of just buying one of these either from AT&T (and potentially unlocking) or waiting for a carrier unlocked US variant.
Also heard that the TMo version can be unlocked and it *should* work with AT&T LTE, but I'd like to see more confirmations of that.
Too many options, haha.

In noticed on the preorder page on the "in the box" section it doesn't seem to mention earphones. Did yours come with them? I know u didn't get it online but just wondering.

Pictures attached. The phone is wearing the gray flip case. To the left of it is the stock back.
Let me know which benchmarks you like, I'll go for it. And it's definitely Exynos, according to Samsung, but I can screenshot the Exynos model number if you let me know where to look.

The box contains only the phone, manuals, and a new charger. It's white, even though the phone isn't, with a removable USB cable, and isn't the cube from a lot of previous Samsung models, but more of a weird shape. I don't have it here to take a picture of.

S4 vs Tegra 3....battery life.

I might get the s4 and sell my tegra 3 due to the battery life of the s4. Apparently, it's crazy good. Anyone else?

I think if you want to know how many others are doing this, post a poll.
Regarding battery life there's not much difference as seen in the following comparison:
http://androidandme.com/2012/05/sma...erformance-gpu-battery-life-and-web-browsing/
Before making the change consider that you won't be able to play Tegra games or Apps without any hassle on the S4 and that the development of customs roms and kernels will most likely be better on the Tegra 3 due to the user base.
/Thread unless you add a poll.

That article seems EXTREMELY bias towards the tegra 3. Every other site where they compare them, the s4 wins in almost everything.
As of now.....no.
Development isn't looking too good so far, but will have to wait and see for the S4. Also saw that headline about the AT&T One X bootloader being locked and not being able to be unlocked thru HTC? didn't really read the article so not sure, just the title.
As for battery life, S4 should do better under heavy use....it's on a newer 28nm fabrication process and is a brand new architecture. Tegra 3 is on a 40-45nm process and using old Cortex-A9 cores.....but Tegra 3 hasn't really be optimized in my opinion. The companion core isn't being used enough besides screen off IMO.
I think they trade blows though with the S4 clearly better. Make sure your battery is okay though.........run the HTC test function battery test. Go into dialer and type *#*#3424#*#* and after you run the battery test, your battery should be around 87%. If it isn't, factory data reset a few times and re-run it. I initially was getting around 75% but after factory data reset, I got 87-88%.
S4 will net you around 5-6 hours of display time max while Tegra 3 can do 4 hours and i've seen some people hit 5 hours.

I've given most if not all of those benchmarks a try and compared it to S4 stats, and yes, my tegra 3 did come out as winner. Just wait for quadcore benchmarks. Antutu is the only really reliable one so far. Hope we get the 4.04 update too

S4 will win in general.
Web browsing on 3G only on S4 is amazing though with over 9 hours. Matching the iPhone is honestly the standard for me. Over 9 hrs of web browsing is incredible. But why use 3G when you can have 4G lol....it also shows what a huge difference there still is between LTE and 3G in terms of battery life even though the LTE modem is integrated now.

Can you guys still recommend this device?

I had this question recently for the sgs2 forum and was set when I find out att doesnt have them no more, and almost leaned towards the note or sgs2 skyrocket today when I had the most aggravating time with att csr where my upgrade date was changed for no apparent reason so I'm done with att and contracts but thats nor here nor there. Yes I tried to find these devices on craigslist but nothing went through and I rather save myself the aggravation with used devices from people that did who knows what to them.
So my main reason for even thinking of the sgs2 was for the dev support. And I know this device has some great dev support but the reputation for this device isnt the greatest like the screen and camera I believe. So with that being said is it worth the $400 for a new one?
Absolutely it's worth $400. If you want to put it in perspective a bit, yeah it's not as good as the GS3, BUT, it's about 90% as good for 50% of the price. As far as bang for your buck goes, it doesn't get any better without signing two years away.
Yup.
$400 for the GSM model is a really good price IMO.
I guess ordering one this weekend would be useless due to the holiday?
Also, what kind of benchmarks are you guys getting with the custom roms?
And I hardly hear any talk about the led notifications? Do any roms take advantage of them, I mean do they work well with different types of alerts like say just one color for google voice texts?
I think is worth I got a htc one s(had a sprint galaxy nexus loved the phone hated the network) so I got tmobile and I'm gonna sell my sprint gnex and get me a galaxy nexus unlocked the one s camera is really good and sense has improved but man this phone feels faster and with tmobile speeds I'm hooked

The stock ROM offers limited LED control app-by-app. Some ROMs have LED control with more granularity. Most people are using Light Flow to control their LED. It works extremely well. You can configure everything.
I wouldn't pay 10 pounds for this phone!!! Google doesn't care about this nexus!!!

Mine is working quite nicely. I'd highly recommend it over others at $600-$700 for sure.
I will never buy a carrier device again after owning a Nexus device. I will get updates beyond what any carrier will offer so my $400 device is worth more than any $2-300 subsidized device.

As others have said for $400 its a wonderful deal. I got mine 3 months ago for $450. That being said the screen on devices like the OneX look nicer.
For that price, you cant really argue. I love the stock android experience and getting updates direct from Google. There's a really active development community for this phone (and the other nexus devices for that matter) and i've been able to check out a lot of custom roms and kernels.
Go for it
It's obviously still a relevant device if the OP is still thinking about this device compared to what's out there.

With all due respect benchmarks are not pointless or else people wouldnt use them at all. Its not a black or white issue. Its a bit more complex than that. When used properly they can serve to paint a generalized picture of performance for any given device. Admittedly they can also be manipulated to post huge numbers that do not reflect real world performance. They can also be used as a tool to diagnose or confirm a performance issue. Now in no way am I suggesting that these benchmarks are the be all end all but they surely are not pointless.
A while back I posted in a thread regarding this topic and asked the participants to explain to me a way that would ensure accurate results when testing our devices. No one responded, probably because nobody cares. It seems there two kinds of people here with regards to benchmarks. Those who use them and those who do not. And I have yet to see any rational discussion on this topic. not that im looking for it.
Anyways My Gnex scored a 6801 on AnTuTu
GNEX- Running AKOP 4.04 with Francos Kernel overclocked to 1344MHz
What's not to like? I have had this phone for a few months now, rooted it the first day and am running all kinds of ROMS and Kernels. I guess if you are running stock and wait for Google or carrier updates you may get a bit frustrated but I have had a great experience with it.
The camera controversy is silly. 5MP vs 8mp on a "flat lens" with a cell phone processor to me is not detectable (IMHO). I carry a DSLR to get my high quality pictures not the phone.
My only complaint has always been battery life. Coming from a Thunderbolt with a very large extended battery and a smaller screen, I routinely run out battery. But this phone has a large beautiful screen and that screen eats power. So I bought this
http://www.amazon.com/New-Trent-IMP1000-Thunderbolt-Blackberry/dp/B003ZBZ64Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1338036621&sr=8-1
and my problems are solved. But performance wise, looks wise, and reliability wise, this phone is awesome. Just run the latest rom (AOKP), kernel(franco), radio (FC04/05) and you'll be fine.
First android device ive owned that ive not felt the need to root or flash a custom rom on.
Very fast and smooth phone.
Stock ICS looks so much nicer than any of the skins out there.
Ive ordered my wife an SGS 3 and im not even a little bit jealous. The novelties that it adds like pop up play i already have on my phone from a free app on the play store.
The hold your phone to your ear from a message to call can be added though smart gestures.
Tried S voice on my phone and i honestly think that speaktoit assistant is better so i deleted the S voice. ( before it was patched )
2 of my friends have One X and i hate the new sense. The only thing i like from the newer phones is the burst mode which again can be added through an app.
The Galaxy Nexus will recieve much better support than other phones obviously in case you care about that.
Great phone and i plan on keep it for quite a while.
Edit: Oh yeah and use light flow for the notification light. I have blue for sms... Green for Gmail... Red for missed call... Yellow for Gtalk etc etc. Again another free app
How about the onscreen buttons , is that hard to get used to?
I upgraded from an og EVO4g and after this I will never use anything but a Nexus phone ever again. LightFlow unlocks all of the LED notification colors, and the 5mp camera on this phone blows the 8mp camera of my Evo out of the water.

The screen is beautiful, the phone is jam-packed with features and hardware, and if you stay stock Samsung's TouchWiz has some pretty cool features.
I'd get the US over the International for your network's flavor of 4G + 2GB Ram, unless you can acquire a Korean handset. Quad-core with 2GB of RAM and I believe 800 MHz LTE support which is currently useless but I believe Sprint has their eyes on that spectrum for future expansion.
Oh, and it's really thin, has a huge screen, almost no bezel, comes in sweet colors (like red) and I recommend a case.

Hey guys I'm not developer level or anything but here are a few things from my last almost three days with the phone
Good:
Great support.
Easy to root.
Safe failsafe comes with the phone (Odin). It's samsung not motorola so the bootstrapper isn't locked and is 'made to mod'
Great battery- got one day+ out of it doing heavy stuff, syncing high quality audacity files over 4g
Sick screen, processor
Lots of roms and kernels
Bad: A lot of the roms just came out. Aside from AKOP and Nostalgia (stock withouth the bloat) people are having different issues from wifi drain, 4g lte not working, (look up my name to see some of these)
For me- the form factor. The phone is VERY thin VERY wide and PRETTY LONG.. It's hard to grip if you use it to say play music while running. Basically you'd have a stronger grip if you gripped the phone with the screen facing the palm of your hands. The back end is almost frictionless. Again easy to fall, easy to slip out of pocket/bookbag, will bounce around in your pocket and not feel it when it falls out of your bag etc.. It will take getting used to.
Another thing that showed poor thought in the physical design. I have a white phone and didn't notice the menu and back buttons because...they too are white. Meld in perfectly.
Charge time- Charge Could take 3+ hours using a 'fast' high AMp charger off of Amazon. I will try with Samsung's stock charger.
A ton of roms, different version of the phone, and mods keep shooting down threads about battery life etc. I say shut off airplane mode and leave on wifi to see which kernels/governors give best battery life. There's so much customizability that its sort of a bad things.
I haven't played around with it on my JB Rom but on ICS you can't transfer the apps and music files from say spotify to your external card. No matter how quickly internal memory is accessed, for backup and movability purposes that is a huge no no for me and a lot of other people.
Not so much with thep hone but with the carriers. You can't simply flash a lot of the models by entering an unlock code, you usally need a non-carrier network SIM to get the dialogue to pop up, at least on stock/nostalgia.
One big issue that is being reported as irreversable is an IMEI modification. That is like the MAC address for your computer. Hopefully no one dealswiht that

better battery life than the skyrocket by far.
With my skyrocket I had 3 batteries (2 spares) and it would be very rare if I only had to swap out once in a day.
Had my gs3 for a few days now and it can last me almost half a day.
Mind you I use my phone basically 24/7.. I still bought two spare batteries but don't think I'll be swapping out as often

Samsung fanboys are everywhere, every time there's an article about LG those annoying people show up, I wonder why...
No doubt I love this phone! Playing Iron Man 3 and Dungeon Hunter 4 is a blast on this thing.

Look, some moron says "Sgs4 wins in every category and is cheaper. You can wait for the Note 3 or HTC T6 if you must have a phablet!" Why can't Samsung fans just shup up?
waiting on the next badass smartphone is retarded. not only will you be waiting longer than you planned, the next new baddass smartphone will be on the horizon, might as well wait for it.

Any company achieves (or has ever achieved) a high position will have that kind of badasses. The most annoying is Apple fans, next is Samsung fan. Sony and Nokia fans are different than not a lot as two companies above but somehow more crazy and ignorant.
I think currently LG's fans are the best in behaving:good:
I've had my E980 for 2-3 weeks now
It performs the way I would expect for having the same internals as the SGS4, with a larger screen. It freakin SCREAMS. I looked at the Note2, but its got obsolete hardware compared to SGS4 or E980. I would definitely say the E980 effectively IS the Note3 without the Samsung extras. If Samsung had done a simultaneous release of the Note3 (which they *should* have), I probably would have gone for that, but the E980 is working out just fine and I'm happy with it. I think LG scored a nice coup here. Why compete with the the smaller SGS4 head to head and lose, when you can release a Phablet with the same specs, and no competition for 6 months until the Note3 releases? They really need to advertise it though while they have an effective but temporary "monopoly" on the high end Phablet.
Observations:
Battery life has been awesome. I use it periodically during the day like normal, and its sitting between 70-80%. The 2.1A charger in the car has it fully charged in the 30+ minute drive home in the evening. This is a MASSIVE improvement over my SGSII where I would be at 30% at the end of a similar day and would take a couple of hours to charge since it didn't charge above 1A.
Screen is awesome! I got this over the SGS4 which I'd been planning on, since my eyeballs have had a recent and relatively sudden "degradation of capabilities". The combination of LARGE screen and sharp pixels is working out quite nicely for me to be able to see the text without having to make other compromises. (btw this getting older crap sucks) Thank goodness for variety, because if I was stuck on a tiny iPhone screen I'd be sunk by now.
It runs good on T-Mobile (at least where the frequencies have been refarmed like DFW, not sure about elsewhere). 4.78Mbs up, 1.7Mbs down for HSPA+ in Dallas. Unable to test LTE yet until more towers get lit up.
Application installs are almost all instant. Big upgrade from my SGSII. Blink and you miss the installation from Play.
Camera is proving to be pretty awesome and sharp. Definite upgrade from my SGSII. It focuses a lot faster, and I can do more rapid shots, which comes in handy when children won't sit still... Colours seem correct, or close enough, I'm not noticing anything wrong.
Still fits in my back pocket - YMMV on this one, but Levi's 36x34 can take it.
First phone EVER that actually fits comfortably in my hand. One handed operation is not compromised either for ME. However, this is another YMMV - folks with smaller hands WILL have a problem on this. My SGSII was ok, provided it had a case on it, and the same with the SGS3 and 4's that I've borrowed. But this is definitely better. If you're of the smaller handed set, this may not be the phone for you, but for those who have medium to large hands - take a look at this phone. it may be exactly what you've been looking for comfort wise. Viva la difference.
i'd agree with all the good things posted. it's a fantastic device. re: the camera sensor, i've noticed it has a hard time reading bar codes for apps, anybody else experience this?

I haven't noticed any issue on the barcodes, and I know I've scanned a couple in the last couple of weeks. I just gave it a couple of smaller ones off a Lenovo power supply that gave it a fit, but it still got them after a few seconds. Switched over to a magazine and it picked it right up (in low light even). For the app barcodes, those have been nearly instant as well. For all of the above, I'm using ZXing's Barcode Scanner.

that's prolly a better way to describe it. it has recognized all the bar codes i've thrown at it, but it seems to struggle to settle down and focus. twitchy, like the image stabilization is not engaged.

OK, yeah, I've seen what you are talking about. Almost seemed like it focused on the WRONG area a couple of times. With that said, I've not noticed much difference over my previous SGSII. Although subjectively, its seems faster than my SGSII for getting a lock.

Still willing to buy...bye to my HTC desire X
I've been wanting to wait for the Note 3, but I hardly use the stylus. I love the phablet form of the phone.
I really would love to get this phone. I really enjoyed playing with it at the store, but the locked boot loader is no bueno for me.

thats true.. but i think that if the SN3 comes out that it will be a failure. for one, a 6 inch screen is a big turn off. 2nd, benchmarks mean nothing even if it'll have the best specs when it debuts.
i think the OGP will lbeat the SN3 even when it comes out, despite the higher specs. theres gonna come a time when ram and processor speed will reach a point where it doesnt matter anymore.. like the laptop where chip manufacturers stopped making faster chips cuz laptops are fast enough.. theres no need to make cellphones faster now.
i'm gonna buy the OGP soon.. i wish there was a white version available in the USA though.

How can you tell unless you know exactly what the note 3 will be about? Also the note 3 will have a better development support that's pretty much guaranteed. And the Spen is s major plus that the note series have over the other phablet.

This is the one smartphone that I want and good old Verizon does not have it. Unfortunately Verizon has the best coverage in my area. I do not want the Galaxy Note 2 , so that is not an option with me. I will just hold off until maybe Verizon will get an LG phone with the same style and the same specs as this one. I don't like the pointed square corners of the LG phones on Verizon. The Optimus G Pro have the rounded corners. Looks great. I'm really sick that I cannot get this phone. I guess I will have a long wait on Verizon. Wish I could switch carriers.
such a beautiful screen, best phone ever had

LG G4 - Hands on Q&A

Hey!
I've just got my LG G4 (I've actually only got it about an hour ago so still setting it up)
But I thought I'd write up a hands on of my experiences with the device and also answer any questions you have. In this thread I will;
Upload screenshots of BenchMarks - If there are any you'd like me to try please let me know
Battery life - from extreme use to casual use
Camera - Night & Day
Accessories - Screen protectors and Cases
Android Version - 5.1
Baseband version - MPSS.BO.2.5.C3-00059-M8992FAAAANAZM-1.17437.1
Kernal version - 3.10.49
Please feel free to ask me any questions in relation to the device and also if you have anything you'd like me to do I'd be more than happy to assist (No Drop Tests) Also Once I get a few accessories I will try and post pictures of fittings. Also bare in mind that I've only just got this phone so before I write up a big review about it I'll need a few weeks messing around with the handset.
I'll also try and post pictures to give you a better insight to the device!
Any questions?

Hi Jason,
Thanks for posting this in the forum.
Seeing as prior to the G4 you had a Galaxy S5, how much of an improvement do you see this vs. your current phone or tablet?
How much better are the photos vs. The S5.
Is the LG G4 a game changer or one of the best phones you have had?
.: Sent from an optimized 'ANDROID til I die' device :.
Does it wobble a lot when typing while the phone is set on a flat surface?
Sound quality recorded is pretty bad based on what I've heard from Youtube videos, will a third party app fix this?
Video is shaky, will a third party app fix this?

Hi,
Firstly, It's a great handset and I really like how quick it is the start up. Like you said I've had a S5 since launch and I'm really used to the UI and the buttons on the front and side ( I think the back button is going to take some getting used to) I was messing around with the camera mainly, taking random photos of my dog and what ever I could see in the back garden. I also did a short video recording as well to see the sound quality and stability of the camera. Overall I'm really happy with the camera (I'm not a photographer) but I feel like one with this device.
It's a GREAT phone, there are some really good points to the handset and some really bad points. One thing I really don't like is the build quality of the handset. I 've got the one with the black leather back and it feels cheap and tacky. I can't wait to get a case on it as it feels fragile. In my opinion I don't think it's a game changer, it opens some apps really quickly and can take a picture but I need to put it under some serious stress to see how it copes.
I hope this helps, sorry I'm rambling (it's the morning)

It does wobble a lot while typing, I'm hoping a case might change this. I will look into this and try and upload a few videos, can you think of any apps that might help? Also the videos don't seem shakey I took one last night and they are fine.
But again I'll take some longer videos in various areas to try and get a better insight into this.

Hi Jason,
just wondering, what model do you have, F500 ? if yes from which carrier?
if it is the F500 how does it handle the LTE and Wifi?
does it have a lot of bloatware?
if you are looking for a good case, the extra thin one from spigen is the one i had on my G3 and it is really good ( SPIGEN )
I have two questions.
1-how is the battery life?
2-how much free ram do you have on average ?

The Model number is - LG-F500L
The Wifi is great, it loads most web pages pretty quickly. Funny thing is that It doesn't show that I've got 4G, even though with my S5 I would have 4G in the same areas. I've checked the signal strength and its at (-109 dBm 3asu) now I'm not a tech wiz but I think I'm not getting 4G
It was loaded with a lot of apps which I can't get rid of, I've not rooted the handset yet so I'm hoping this will get rid of a few things. Because after I use the camera a few in quick succession the phone slows down dramatically.
Hope this helps
The battery life is pretty bad if I'm honest i have only had it off charge for an hour and a half and it has already gone down 5% from doing nothing! It wil last all day but im yet to find the time to seriously stress the battery out with a few games.
Ive attached an image of ram for you to look at.

Well you need to compare the 4g / LTE frequencies of your carrier with the Korean phone you have. F500L means you got it from the LG U+ carrier. That frequency issues is the biggest trap when buying a phone there.. the second is the rooting and ROMs for their models. The international models get way more attention.
if you can pull system via ADB, and contact @Chainfire, i guess he will be happy to make a root. He is the master.

I've never really thought about looking at something like this.
But from what I can read and correct me if I'm wrong I can't get 4G as I'm with O2 and the phone I've got only works on 4G with a higher frequency?
Also thanks for the tip with the rooting!
Could you confirm if there is a barometer?

Its been 4 days with g4 and what i have noticed till:
Screen is absolutely gorgeous.
Camera is awesome.
Battery life i get 3 to 4 hours screen on time and charging is also too slow.
It is fast fluid.
Speaker at the back is loud.

You hit the nail on the head, I really like this handset and I feel that it could have been the best on the market! If only it was a little more powerful, I found that after prolonged use it does slow down. Maybe if an update comes out to optimise the software a little it might be faster.
I really really like the camera on the phone, I'm not a camera expert or anything but it has a lot of features! I'm still trying to get to grips with.

To expect it to be Exynos processor in terms of speed would be unfair. Perhaps the LG G4 does not have the latest specs hardware wise but it's a hell of a device.
From my part I cannot throw away money on another wanna be Apple company (looking at you Samsung)
Yeah the device is a bit faster and looks a little better than the G4 but I just can't do it.
There's a review I just posted on another thread and it pretty much summarizes everything up. He has all the flagship devices and choose to stick with the LG G4 that's saying a lot right there.
I'm an xda member since many years ago, once we get root, bootloader unlock and Roms there is no limit where we an take this device.
Perfect example is my Motorola DROID RAZR HD, when bought it was slow, unresponsive and unimpressive out of the box. Compared to today it's Rooted, bootloader unlocked and flashed with Nexesque Rom it's become one of the fastest devices I've ever owned. The thing is only equipped with a Dual Core processor and 1GB of Ram.
There is a lot to be excited for on the LG G4 and I hope we get root, bootloader unlock capabilities, recovery and Roms soon enough.
