This is quite difficult.
Have you searched the thread? If you didn't find anything, try asking in the thread.

Do a factory/dalvic/chache wipe again and report. If its still not working, try the kernel provided by mdeejay.

Iam pretty sure that's not possible if he can't even access the bootloader.
I always wondered... once a device is bricked and it would be accepted for repair, how would they
go about reinstalling everything?

I'm sure he can access the bootloader.
I'm sure he didn't brick it.
If the phone was really bricked, they would replace the motherboard.

Ok, sounds weird. He hasn't done anything that could cause such a problem. I'm not assuming you're a noob, but please try to access bootloader mode again; you have to push Volume - and Power at the same time for about ten seconds. If it still doesn't work, wait for official JB RUU. Maybe that could solve your problem.

We have more than one thread for a lot here. It doesn't really matter any more. I like this one so I will say something. Nobody can use anything until s-off so don't get too excited.
Oh sorry,i forgot totally the S-Off Problem >..<
And i didnt found the other Thread Who tells that the Source is out.
But isnt it Possible to Flash a Kernel trough Fastbootmode?

Why not? We can continue flashing kernel in boot.img via fastboot in the interim.
Flashed just fine last night..... You don't need s-off to change a kernel

Say I flashed a kernel without s-off and i'm on 1.28. The 1.29 upgrade gets available for my phone, can i upgrade my phone to 1.29 normally via OTA or do i have to go back to stock etc?

OTAs contain only files needed to upgrade one stock ROM to another stock ROM, so you will definitely need to re-flash the stock rom. Or, wait for your custom ROM to be re-based to 1.29.

Wifi doesn't work on hboot 1.31

Hello, I am not able to post on the original thread of this custom rom, so here goes the question.
I have recently updated to hboot 1.31 and was using ARHD 13, than I wipe everything and installed TripNDroid's custom CM10 rom, but from the begining when I try to setup my google account the wifi doesn't connect. I have do the exact same steps that has been given, so I guess there is something else, anyone experienced such kind of problem?
Cheers.
I have encountered problems with wifi as well, but I'm using Renovate 8.3.0. Dunno if the problem is in the ROM or in the hboot though...

I have tried that, but no luck. Is there a way to use Cyanogenmod10 roms directly on hboot 1.31, or we have to wait for the proper boot.img?

I read about the mdeejay's kernel, but the file is unavailable right now on zippyshare. So I can't download it.
I guess I screwed up for the first time when upgrading to hboot 1.31, cause I hate sense roms and right now I stucked with them.
To clarify things, until CM10 build is compatible with hboot 1.31 I have to do a repack of mdeejay's kernel with every CM10 nightly's boot.img, is that right?

You have to upgrade the hboot, because with sense 5 roms got bootloop. Need to relock, update hboot, unlock again. Carriers ID, steps.
It's sounds difficult a bit, but it's very simple and fast way with the fastboot commands.

I don't know too what exactly the problem is..but just guest...maybe ARHD rom can't support just unlocked bootloader device, maybe must be s-off too..
If you want still try another ROM like stock but ICS version and with just a little tweaked..you can try SVHD ROM too..that most stable and good battery life rom that i've ever try until now..

[Q] S-Off cm 11

Hello there,
I'm a flash junkie and recently updated my phone to CM11, coming from CM10.
In this process my phone went from S-Off to S-on. Is this always the case? And how can I fix it? Because I don't want to fastboot every time I flash a nightly. Thanks in advance!

It is imposible flashing ROM to make the device from S-OFF to S-ON. The rom don't have to do nothing with the HBOOT and can't change the security flag on ONE X international.

Let's hope he can tell us how to get S-OFF in the first place
If he can, I will personally flash as many roms as needed to investigate this unexpected S-ON behaviour.

I don't think it was s-off in the first place. In my experiences flashing roms and even RUU's has never lead to changing s-on/off status !

Sarcasm-ON, hilarious! LOL. How is it possible that on cm10 i could flash roms via cmupdater without flashing the boot.img? Now on cm11 my phone will not start up without the boot.img....
And did someone follow RumRummer tutorial for S-Off? Successfully?
Thanks in advance!
Because cm 11 is kitkat and cm 10 is not. Not all updates require a new boot.img.
If you go to a "new" rom you need to flash the boot.img. if a rom gets an update and it's purely a small software update it may not require a boot.img update.
Cm11 is completely different from cm10.
And rumrunner does not work.
