I've had it connected to the charger for an hour with the battery and still doing the same

If I could be that I'll have to take it where a technician to inspect the power button
same thing happened to me. I just wiggled the power button around and blew air into the cracks around the button from all sides. At first I thought it was the ROM but I tried switching to several different ones but the problem was the same. I guess some dust got trapped inside or something but I don't have the problem anymore.

I was talking to a friend, and my Excalibur ran out of battery, then, I tried to turn it on again, it started but got stuck on the Windows Mobile screen, then the screen turn out black and the red light (low battery) keep on blinking. It didn't respond at all, so I pulled out the battery, when I inserted it again, my Excalibur didn't turned on, and has been like this since that day...
Any ideas??? I need help please!!!

Has probado hacer un hard reset?
Algunas veces ayuda, antes de hacerlo carga tu bateria
Aqui como
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Excalibur
Have you tried doing a hard reset?
Sometimes it helps, charge your battery first
Here how
Hard Reset Procedures
Press Start -> Accessories -> Clear Storage, press enter to launch, you will be prompted to type "1234" and to press Enter. If you do this you will lose all contents and the Dash will be restored to its original configuration. It takes about 5 minutes for it do this and reboot.
If you are locked up and can't get to the Clear Storage utility, turn the phone off; hold down the two softkey menu select buttons (above the home and <- buttons); press power on while still holding the buttons down and follow the prompts on the screen. Timing is critical on the latter option, so if you miss it once, try again.

Ebay batteries?
Still dead...
My phone doesn't turn on, so I can't do the Hard or Soft reset thing, anyway I've tried to do the Hard Reset, but the phone doesn't answer.
I tried with other battery, and the results were the same, I don't know what to do...
did you try to get into bootloader mode?
you basically press and hold your camera button and while holding the button, plug your device into your PC via USB cable which if not entirely dead, should give you the 3 color screen. If you do get this, you must then install your stock rom that came with the phone. Then once thats done if you want to install another custom ROM, you can.
And if it doesn't work???
I'm gonna give it a try, but if it doesn't work, I think is a serious problem, isn't???
Maybe it's alive...
I tried the bootloader process, but what i get is a flash of the red led (low battery) when I connect the phone to USB, with no battery. If I do that with the battery on it nothing happens. Any ideas???
either you have a case of bad batteries, or theres a hardware issue with the connectors on your battery housing
Red Light Flashing
So, does the red light flash mean something??? It flashes when I connect my Excalibur to my PC without battery, if I don't remove the battery, nothing happens...
Thanks...
Hi,
I bought my galaxy note 2 (N7100) for less than 60 days. I was using it when I realized a "green venture" upright, like a sequence of deads-pixels.
I hung up the phone and reconnect to the screen showed nothing - was erased, all dark. I realize that the phone connects normally (listening to the sounds and the screen is still touch) - but erased.
Not dropped (never) or cleaned with any chemical.
I wonder what happened? How should I proceed?
Thank you for your attention.
Where did you buy it?
1) Have you rebooted it yet?
2) When you reboot it, what happens?
3) If you reboot, see the pre-boot splash, but still get a black screen, you probably just need to reflash your rom.

2- I haven´t done;
3- Where consultans?
my question: can see dead-pixel (vertically) or dead the touch phone?

Your phone has a warranty from Samsung for one year. You should first register it, then request service for its malfunction.

I was using my phone normally today and it suddenly died on me and rebooted. Now it won't boot at all and it's stuck on the Galaxy Note II N7100 logo and it'd die out again and then show the Galaxy Note II N7100 logo again, never reaches the samsung boot up logo even. Pressing volume buttons for recovery mode does not work at all, it just keeps on rebooting. Pressing for the download page works but if you press volume up or volume down or do nothing even for a few seconds it reboots again!
My battery was at 60 percent prior to this and I was not doing anything at all. I was using Wanam's rom with adam kernel + s4 theme for two weeks now with no hitch.
Another weird thing about this whole thing is that if I pop the battery at the back it automatically boots up without me having to press any buttons. I've tried EVERYTHING now and I really hope my phone did not just die on me. Charging the phone sorta works but Im not to sure because I have a feeling it reboots without having any actual charging done.

HOLY COW YOU'RE RIGHT!! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!! It works now after one hour!
Should I sell my phone now before it goes bad or do you think this is just a random occurance?
You probably hit the power button without knowing it and got stuck. This could be just a simple occurance. Or it got damaged in which case you have to change the power button contact. Not easy but it can be done.

Was doing some research and some people have also experienced this when they accidently dropped liquid unto the power button. I was washing my case awhile ago and there's a remote possibility that this happened albeit only a little. After I got it working it only happened once again and it's been working perfectly since.
I was getting really frantic awhile ago because I really needed my phone at that time lol

So 2 nights ago i was watching a movie i locked it off and got up to go get some food when i come back i try to turn on the tab but its completely shutdown, first thing that comes to my mind is that the battery is empty but that was impossible because i had it at like 80%, i try to charge it nothing comes up next step i let it charge for 4 hours and try to turn it on with the button combo home+volume down+power to see if she boots into download mode but nothing works i tried booting into recovery and booting into download mode or booting normally nothing works. Next i tried to connect the tab s to the computer with a USB cable, computer doesn't detect it, tried adb and it says device not found.
I know the cables and chargers are working as i have a galaxy s6 and it had no problem charging or getting recognized by the computer, the mysterious thing is that when i put the tablet charging or connected to the PC the top of the tablet near the camera gets hot/warm.
Any help would be amazing thank you in advance.

Doesn't work.
Hard reset is POWER + VOL DOWN until it restarts.
If that doesn't work you may just have to let the battery totally run down. Takes about a day.

Right now the tablet gets perfectly cool if not on the charger like its totally off. Gonna try to let it run out but im not hopeful.
Try this.
1) connect the tab to PC
2) press Home, Vol Down and Power simultaneously up to a screen appears;
3) press Vol Down to cancel and reboot the tablet.

Tried but it didn't work.
The problem is i don't see any screen, if i could get into download mode i would flash another rom, by the way i was using iron rom 3.0 if it matters.
Are you still in warranty, as some stores will take it back without a question.
If you have any usb devices you could plug in to drain the battery, usb hdd ect to see if it resets once the battery is drained.

Bought it less than a year ago i guess i will see if its under warranty unfortunately i don't have an OTG cable.
Hey LuisAntonio96,
your problem sounds a bit like mine mentioned here.
I still don't know what might have caused it. I experienced it on two devices. Letting the battery drain on one device, it could be charged again and put into recovery mode, rebooted from there, and the other device could be restarted via recovery mode, after letting it 'cool' over night.
This just happened to me right now, what a rush ! finally , holding power, volume up + down for a few seconds made the tablet reset and the battery logo appeared, let go all the buttons. Then I just booted normally with the normal start button.
( while connected on usb) once booted the battery was at 60% , WTF was that ?

I don't know, but It happened to me too a couple of weeks ago. Just as you say, when it rebooted I had plenty of battery power left. I think mine was at about 70+%...strange!
i was surfing youtube and suddently the screen dead. i tried to switch on the button but it remain the same. then after a few second the youtube video sound continue playing. i was panic and tried to hold my switch off button for about 10 second and my pixel is off. then i tried to switch on again but its only vibrate and the screen remain off. i tried every combination of volume and switch on button hundred times but noting happen it only vibrate like its on, but the screen is dead. I tought my screen is the problem but when i tried to call the phone , it look like the phone is in off condition. when i plug the c cable there is no charging logo at the screen. i also cant reflash the phone because i cant enter recovery mode. i also never root the phone nor install any recovery mod.
the only sign it still have hope is:
- the finger print vibrate when touch
- when i connect to the pc it detect as pixel 2xl but as unspecified driver.
- when i try to switch on/off its vibrate (i dont know its look like it never off because i tried to touch the finger print its always vibrate)
anyone please any suggestion ? , i love my pixel 2 xl so much :crying:

You'd better be opening a new thread as your problem is irrelevant to the issue the OP is experiencing...
Good luck,
Sébastien.
i actually have my pixel 2 xl apart right now for a battery replacement. theres one cable for the digitizer (touch sensor) and one cable for the display. its possible one of those cables came loose or the digitizer assembly failed all together. its junk as it is right now anyway so no risk in taking it apart to see right? follow the ifixit guide. i watched the youtube videos on it and honestly they make it sound really scary when in reality its not.
edit: also keep in mind that you most likely still have fastboot functionality in the case that you wanted to take a backup before you risk damaging/destroying your device and loosing your data.
