[Q] How do i change wallpaper in system/customize/resource - HTC Wildfire S

I want sense 4 wallpapers but I want them so when i go to htc wallpaper they show up there. Ive tried just changing the pictures and renaming them to match the old ones but that doesn't work.

Download es file manager, activate root permissions and then go to /system.

Was that a joke? That didn't help at me all, can you give a more descriptive answer. /system then what? Sorry no thanks for you.

Honestly, the simplest solution would be to save the wallpapers on your sd card, then apply one through your picture browser.
If you need them as .zip files, try here

MetaMorph makes HTC Desire reboot?

I've installed Metamorph from the market but every time i start it up and do the checks it makes my phone reboot, i am clueless to what the problem could be.
I am rooted and using OpenDesire v1.3b ROM if that helps.
At the Moment system write is only possible in recovery, but for metamorph you need write access in Android.

I don't have a clue what you're on about tbh, I'm a newbie so bare with me
Shall i uninstall it?
Metamorph need access to /system files to write to those files. It needs this while your phone is switched on and working as normal.
The Desire only allows write access to those files while it is in recovery mode. So MetaMorph will not work.

remove rom manager

Can someone guide me the steps to uninstall rommanager.cynogen mod 7.0.3
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
You can use the Titanumi Backup(root) to uninstall the app brings from the rom.
Or use the Root Explorer to delete the *.apk (I don't know it's full name) from system/app.

If your s-off. You can simply remove the app from the zip file before you flash it. Or do it through fastboot.

No i tried it just entrers recovery and does nothing....i tried through adb shell nothing really happened but my. Apk files missing in the system/app....i tink u messed up....any help.....sry for the wrong english

I've done it in such way.
1. Using Titanium backup I've performed backup of all the necessary applications, phonebook, sms, etc.
2. Removed RomManager from ROM'zip file
3. Flash it. (You should turn off signature verification before flashing modified ROM'zip files)
As far as i understand, rom manager is not installed in /system/app, but in /data/app.
So this guide might help you:

Since you are rooted then rename the Updater.apk and Updater.odex files in the system/app folder to Updater.apk.bk and Updater.odex.bk.
