I've looked around and can't seem to find a proper guide of how to make flashables I know newer cwm's use an amend script as opposed to the older edify what ever that may mean xD .... anyways I want to start creating my own shiz I don't want to give details but I think it might be kind of special and could interest some nerds anyways if someone can point me in the direction of a proper guide/ tutorial I will much appreciate it.

Often it's as easy as gutting another flashable .zip that you know works, then replacing the directory structure and files with what you want to install. If you want a neater solution with more customization, adamdelozier found benzyniarz1's UpdateZipCreator utility, which provides much more customization possibilities. It currently has a bug that causes scripts to fail, thus causing the entire flashable .zip to fail, but I've let the developer know what's up so hopefully a fix will be out soon. If you want to learn about the bug and the workaround, see pages 5 and 6 and pay close attention to the "Error 6" and "EOL" related posts.

Yes, you can create a custom script from scratch within the utility, and it has the most used commands available to drop into your script, along with a very brief description of syntax for each. Read the OP for the utility to get an idea of its range of features.

Most people aren't picky about their cwm zips, basicly it consists of the items you want to flash, the stuff to flash it with, and an updater-script and updater-binary. I usually just take someones updater-binary and write my script from scratch

Back on topic, the dev of UpdateZipCreator hit me back and said he'll release a fixed version of his utility soon.
UpdateZipCreator has been updated to use UNIX newline / end-of-line / EOL characters in the script generator / editor, which should eliminate "Error 6" when flashing .zips in CWM Recovery.

This has example scripts, but I don't remember it dynamically generating scripts based on what you install. You must customize the scripts yourself, to include mounting the partition you wish to install to, install package, and screen output. FYI, IIRC the screen is 48 fixed-width characters wide in CWM Recovery. That should help make pretty output screens!
Not sure as this belongs here or not, but I think this is the best place for it. This will allow you to add init.d to your phone without CWM. I got it working for me, so I hope everyone else will have the same fortune.

Added the CWM version to the OP - Quick instructions:
Put on your SD card or somewhere you can find on your phone and flash with CWM - done!

Please note this will fail if any of the Busybox symlinks are not complete!

I am not sure it works.
1. the 06dalvik script did not create /cache/dalvik-cache folder.
2. the 99test did not create any file in /data/local/tmp.

Mine is working, if you got some errors during the load process, I need to know.
If thing to do is check your symlinks and make sure that they are all there for busybox.
Use this to check your symlinks:https://play.google.com/store/apps/...t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsInN0ZXJpY3Nvbi5idXN5Ym94Il0.
If any one is missing, it could stop the install process.
On the thing about our kernel supporting init.d, the answer is not currently and that is why we have to use this program. It will allow compatibility with our kernel to have init.d.
The busbox is ok.
I can run it rom my terminal on the phone as well as adb shell.
There were no errors during installation.
Edit:
I ran the script again today.
The init.d works. the 99test did create a file in /data/local/tmp.

Running it at 50% is pretty good also. The script will at least zipalign, check for proper permissions on all apps, clean the delvik-cache, and reorganize the task manager priorities and also your ram manager settings. You should try the battery calibration script that is there also, it is really nice.

Script manager is easiest. Don't forget to use as root for all those scripts.
I did forget that it will also allow for a powershift, so you can change your settings on the fly if you need more multitasking capabilities than power savings or more power.

Sent from Rooted LT28at with ICS.
It does not look like the latest CWM that I put will be compatible with the extra mods, after I put the cwm together and flashed it bricked my phone. I have put my phone back to where it was before the modifications for the ICS supercharger (the service.jar and service.odex modded part) and works just fine without the additional mods, but I don't think I am going to try to mod the phone again (wife will get mad at me if I hard brick my phone).
Ok, I really should contribute to the community somehow So I decided to fix any little problem in my rom i'm currently using and release it, so people like me, that means people who like clean and tidy ROMs with some extra horsepower under the hood and few tweaks that increases usefulness of their device a bit will have their life a little bit easier because I'll try to implement as much awesomeness without unnecessary bloatware to this ROM and learn a bit about modding in the process

StatusBar toggles
Percentage battery mod
^ these two were one mod, p3001ee's statusbarmod with quickpanelsettings.

This is currently standard recovery flashable ZIP file. If you do not have access to recovery you may want to read this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1793272 there are several ways how to boot into recovery, you may use any method, the recovery will be reflashed anyway. This rom also requires unlocked bootloader.
1) Place installation package anywhere on your internal card.
2) Boot into recovery (usually with pressing vol up button when prompted by kernel)
3) Select install zip from sdcard.
4) Select choose zip from sdcard
5) Find installation package on SD Card and confirm installation

exciting stuff!! Btw, is it overclocked by default??
Harsh7689: The point of this ROM is to ease the effort patching it up to others with similar requirements from their device. I've not said that I have done something special, I don't know java and I know very little from bash and other scripting... only thing I've learned up to today is to find a mod, test it and if it works well use it until i find better. This is my little I can do for the community... Maybe I'll learn from this baby-in-sandbox project something that will allow me to do a bit more for community than this... I agree, it's nothing much fancy, but it might help someone, that's why I posted it here.
imrock: It's kernel is krabappel2548's XperiaSSpeed Kernel V6, so yes, it is overclocked by default and can be overclocked up to 1899 MHz, which me personally finds quite hazardous Anyway default overclock is somewhere around 1,7 GHz which is safe value The package also contains Voltage Control free edition, which will allow you to alter those values to your taste

What is the difference between this "ROM"and the other ones like Eratcher and DualCore "ROMS"

I saw a MOD earlier for the CM10 and i thought why not make one ONLY for the MIUI JB.
follow these steps:
1- make a nandroid backup (optional as i tried it and it boots)
2- download attachment, extract it and place build.prob on sdcard
3- open your *root* file explorer and place it into /system , then set permissions to rw-r-r
4- reboot to recovery and wipe cache, dalvik cache and fix permissions (i dont know why but i saw it is needed so just do what i said)

i don't own any of these tweaks i just copied them and decided to share it with you!
TIPS:
1- Go to Rom toolbox(free from Playstore) open memory manager and choose Ultimate from the presets. It will improve multi tasking and a little bit gaming.
2- Try Forfivo's JB Kernel V1.1 i use it and it runs great.
3- I don't know what you guys prefer about governors but i personally love Smartass v2.
4- Use the SD Boost (also in Rom toolbox) boost your sd to 3072 or 2036. (i can't see difference but they say it does change something)
5- I don't actually feel difference after using my build.prob Tweak LOL, but point "1" really shows difference and smoothness.
6- I guess these are enough actually it was enough from "1"

Now, I've been looking at the One V forum for more than a year. One thing I've noticed is that a lot of new people that just got himself/herself a new One V and goes around in the development thread and asks stupid questions like "Can I OC?" "Why bootloop" and stuffs
Here are a few FAQs for ALL newcomers:
1) Overclocking
Can a ROM overclock?
Yes and no. Overclocking does not depends on a ROM but a KERNEL
Currently for the GSM version of One V there are mainly 2 kernels KISS and HELLBOY.
The KISS Kernel is mainly for Sense base ROMs (Beaver, MyONEv, MySENSE)
The HELLBOY kernel are for AOSP or CM based ROMs (Sphongle, Xperia JB) Keep in mind that there are three types of HELLBOY kernel. Check the original thread here for more details about that: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1954967
Now, you got a ROM and a compatible KERNEL, how to Overclock? Simply go to the Play Store and download a free CPU app such as No-Frills

2) Does this ROM require Root?
Yes. If you are not planning to root then don't go into the Android Development or Original Android Development Section

3) How do I make a logcat?
Before you even start making a logcat, make sure you have fastboot and the drivers installed: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1598964
Step 1: Open Command Prompt and cd to your fastboot folders (eg. cd C:\Fastboot
Step 2: Type in the command logcat> logcat.txt
Step 3: Press CTRL+C to stop the logcat
Step 4: Upload the logcat.txt found in your fastboot folder to the thread with with detailed description of the bug so that the dev can solve it
Good Luck on helping

4) Which is the best ROM for blah blah blah
NONE! As per the XDA rules, there are no best ROMs thread allowed.
So, how do you find the "best" ROM?
Try each and every ROM that interests you and find out which suits you best as everybody has their own preferences.

5) How to take a logcat via phone
First of all, you'll need root (obviously)
Then download the Terminal Emulator from the Playstore
Open the app and type in logcat -d -f /sdcard/logcat.txt
After that the close the window once the logcat is done.
The logcat should be saved into your sdcard
