Please note this will fail if any of the Busybox symlinks are not complete!

I am not sure it works.
1. the 06dalvik script did not create /cache/dalvik-cache folder.
2. the 99test did not create any file in /data/local/tmp.
does our kernel support init.d?

Mine is working, if you got some errors during the load process, I need to know.
If thing to do is check your symlinks and make sure that they are all there for busybox.
Use this to check your symlinks:https://play.google.com/store/apps/...t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsInN0ZXJpY3Nvbi5idXN5Ym94Il0.
If any one is missing, it could stop the install process.
On the thing about our kernel supporting init.d, the answer is not currently and that is why we have to use this program. It will allow compatibility with our kernel to have init.d.
The busbox is ok.
I can run it rom my terminal on the phone as well as adb shell.
There were no errors during installation.
Edit:
I ran the script again today.
The init.d works. the 99test did create a file in /data/local/tmp.

Running it at 50% is pretty good also. The script will at least zipalign, check for proper permissions on all apps, clean the delvik-cache, and reorganize the task manager priorities and also your ram manager settings. You should try the battery calibration script that is there also, it is really nice.

Script manager is easiest. Don't forget to use as root for all those scripts.
I did forget that it will also allow for a powershift, so you can change your settings on the fly if you need more multitasking capabilities than power savings or more power.

It reads like there are extra manual steps to get ICS fully super charged.
Sent from Rooted LT28at with ICS.
It does not look like the latest CWM that I put will be compatible with the extra mods, after I put the cwm together and flashed it bricked my phone. I have put my phone back to where it was before the modifications for the ICS supercharger (the service.jar and service.odex modded part) and works just fine without the additional mods, but I don't think I am going to try to mod the phone again (wife will get mad at me if I hard brick my phone).

As far as I know on stock ROM without supercharge, its normal for launcher redraws(lag) especially when running lots of apps.My advice is If you dont't want to run the supercharger then you need to clear the memory often either using the stock task manger or 3rd party app. However, this effect is much less on CM9 and I actually don't use V6 script on CM9.

What happens to your phone is normal. If you use too many apps you have too many background process that slow down the cpu.
Supercharge your phone is a smart answer and a perfect solution for you problem.

Try with "root checker" in play store.

I dont know if perhaps that post came off as condescending...but what is odd to me is that the OP asked about V6 tweak, and clearly has some limited knowledge about it, but chose to not read about it and instead wrote a one line post in a completely different forum.
OP should really do a quick xda search - so this way instead of pasting links for others we can test software and help debug/develop it - and maybe learn a new thing or two.

Then do yourself a favor.... Go back to stock, relock your bootloader and don't look back. If you've read the thread you would need to ask about it here. The first couple posts tell you everything and no one can answer your questions about it better than the dev. Yes, it will work with any android device. Some platforms have different things that need to be done than others (last I looked at it at least) and there are instructions and links for everything in the first few posts.

I've used it a bit. Here are the full steps to get it to work.
1. Find the thread that the dev created for it.
2. Read the instructions there.
3. Download the required files and apps.
4. Follow the instructions that you read in step 2.
Sent from my ICS Dinc2
*Edit* Come to think of it those are the instructions that I use for just about everything I find on XDA.
I've used the supercharger script on the aeroevan's unofficial CM9 rom and macrodroid's ArcticICSed rom with no issues.
Warning....., if you installed the AndyBones tweaks for the Arctic rom (or Tazz's 3.6 ICS) and then run the Supercharger script, you will end up with a blank wallpaper and a reflash is needed to fix it. The Supercharger script will modify your build.prop and init.d scripts (plus install a S99 script) will may conflict with the tweaks program (the Rosie tweaks in the tweaks program include modded winfree values which may be the cause of the conflict).
I hate bringing up an old topic but didn't want to clutter with a new post I'm running aeroeven cm10 does the v6 improve it much I've been reading the main thread and it seems like a lot of mixed emotions on it my thing is the rom I'm running is really smooth and only gets laggy when too many tasks are running a simple task killer fixes it so my question is what do you guys think of it is it worth it or not and is there any draw backs and what addons are you running with it as I saw a lot of options with it I would normally just go for it without asking but with all the options and my current schedule I don't have time to really test everything out

Has anyone used V6 SuperCharger with TSM UKB II 1.3.1 with success?

I think I´m still a few posts shy of the 10 post magic limit. So I will post it here instead of the developer thread.
As I´m still very much a noob concerning android ROMS, kernels etc, I have a question regarding installation of this ROM.
More specific this line in the installation instructions:
4.Restore my CWM backup > restore system & data for Supercharger V6 optimisations full effect (don't worry, CWM backup is made after a clean restore, so data is clean except Supercharger V6 files)
What I did was reboot into recovery -> "backup and restore" -> "restore" -> choose Milan's .587 v2.1 backup.
Do I need to take additional steps to get it Supercharged?
How can I tell if its supercharged?
Run the SuperCharger script.

However now we are venturing into uncharted territory for me.
According to this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1334834&highlight=install+supercharge
I need to install Script Manager and run the script. Is that correct?
If it is, the problem is the Supercharged script is not placed in the root of my SD card, as the guide descripes.
If anybody who have Supercharged enabled on Milan's .587 v2.1 could post a step by step guide, I would greatly appreciate it.
Anybody?
I would very much like to Supercharge this ROM.
The only guide I can find is the above mentioned and I´m not really sure it applies to Milan's .587 v2.1.
If you do a restore in CWM it restores both the system and data parts and will already be supercharged. I checked mine by running the supercharger script and it said 100% supercharged.

Thank you for being a jerk about it.
I posted a link to guide showing how to install it. It seems it is already installed on my phone. So with my minimal knowledge of android phones, it seemed to me that it was an entirely different situation. That is why I asked.
If I had the time, I would not even have posted in the Q & A section in the first place. I would have figured it out by myself. As I prefer to do it on my own. However, as my time is very limited, I thought my problem fitted the criteria of the Q & A section. Compared to a lot of the other posts, I don´t think my request is especially outrageous.
However you seem to think I´m asking for to much. Why I have no idea. Maybe you just like being an elitist jerk. Nobody forced you to answer. If you thought me being to demanding, you could just have ignored my post.
I will withdraw my question and leave the Q & A to more apparently suited questions.

you may first run the script with the smanager and it will automatically save profile of the script.
you can then go to menu>list and search for the profile and enable su and boot options.

First off, I did not come up with this idea but I adapted it from smokin1337 and his thread: [MOD] EZ InitD - init.d the EZ way !!
How to make it work...
Take file in the attached zip and use your favorite root explorer and paste it in /system/etc/ overwriting the file that is there.
Set permissions of the file to be rwx, rx, rx
Create an init.d folder inside of /system/etc and set permisions to rwx, rx, rx
Add init.d scripts and make sure they are also set to rwx, rx, rx.
Reboot and enjoy your init.d scripts!
All credits to smokin1337 for the mod, I just added the line to our postboot.sh.
I tested it and it works as it should :good:
Enjoy!
-Scott
EDIT: Changed the permissions of the scripts to 755 from 777 to guard against possible malware. Info courtesy of jcase.
Just a note, I use ES File Explorer to do this but any root level explorer should work. I just use ES because I am familiar with it.
Some init.d scripts can rely upon the use of BusyBox so install that from the market.
Sorry for the stupid question but what does this actually do.

Good question... If you have to ask it then this is not something for you. Haha, Just kidding... But seriously..
Basically init.d scripts are scripts that run when the phone boots up. You can make them do various things like setting system level tweaks, cleaning and purgin databases, and on and on and on...
In the ROMS I build I use an init.d script that remounts the file system more efficiently (in theory anyways) but there are other uses for init.d scripts.
A real popular one is called "V6 Supercharger" Its a collection of scripts that are designed to really tweak out the operating system for the supreme performance (once again, debatable).
There are other things that could be done... If your familiar with old school computing and you know autoexec.bat this is basically that for Android.

Yeah, this mod is not your ordinary mod. Most people will never use this type of mod.... Or they do use it in the custom ROM they use and never even know about what it does.
Try using 755 instead of 777, otherwise you are opening yourself up to potential problems.

Try using 755 instead of 777, otherwise you are opening yourself up to potential problems.

I've discovered the same thing you achieve here before, when i was trying to create a swap internal SD for the external, but unfortunately it didn't work, i used your rom on my old Note 2, it was amazing hope to see CleanROM for this one. Thanks for publishing this.
