Dear all,
My girlfriend updated her Desire HD to Andriod 2.3.5 with Sense 3.0
Before the update there were no issues, after the update the following issues occur:
- When phone rings, she pick ups the following error displays com.android.phone has stopped suddenly. Do you want to inform HTC?
Whatever she chooses she has to unlock her simcard again. During the error message the ringtone continues to play.
Can anybody help? Or is it better to downgrade it to the previous Android version 2.3.3 with sense 2.1.
However to downgrade to one original ROM I really can't find easily with the search function as there is so many information on this great forum. Could you direct me to it?
Thanks in advance for all the help!
IMHO it is better to do factory reset than downgrade. Sense 3 is so much better than sense 2.1.
So the answer is?

Yeah. I have baseband: S5660MUGKG3
My model is: GT-S5660M
I think the only Google Voice that work on ICS, was on CM9 only...
(But the new changelog says that Google Voice works for both CM9 & CM10, now.)

Bugs are usually stated in the OP of the rom thread, and change log states things that are fixed/changed from previous builds. Ask in the rom thread if its specific and think it's a problem only you are receiving, other users may be able to give you some insight.
Hi,
My Desire has always been very bad handling calls:
Recently tried AOKP VJ 4.2.2 and Mildwild 5 (2.3.7) and it got worse!
Now When I make a call, the other person doesn't hear me! (When the other person makes the call, it works ok)!
Previous to AOKP and Mildwild I had the radio updated to the lastest (that is not very new...) 5.17.05.23 [older than 29th May 2011]
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=687464
Does this radio thing doesn't matter with this ROMs?
Why doesn't this radio version appear on "About"@Definitions on AOKP and Mildwild as before (official ROM)?
Is this 5.17.05.23 not stable? Which one do you have?
Do anyone has or had this problem?
Thanks in advance.
Your issue may have nothing to do with your radio or ROM.....
Could it not simply be that you have a microphone issue??
Can you try a sound recording app or similar, see if it records properly?

Hi, it is a software/firmware issue as calls go ok if someone calls me in!
It only fails when I call someone (And didn't occurred before these ROMs).
Ah missed that bit sorry!
The latest radio firmware is recommended, shouldn't make a difference to microphone issues though.
If you unroot and go back to stock, does the issue go away?
