The problem with google voice ICS s-5660m - Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660

hello
I have Samsung Galaxy Gio GT-S5660M. I also have problem: the google voice isnt work with CM 9 or CM 10 (ICS) do you have the same problem? With android 2.x.x everything is fine. Please help me I would like to use ICS but very important to me is google VOICE and writing a text message with voice.
thx.

I had this problem on CM10. But that was a CM10 problem, not phone related. As for CM9, I dunno..

Yeah. I have baseband: S5660MUGKG3
My model is: GT-S5660M
I think the only Google Voice that work on ICS, was on CM9 only...
(But the new changelog says that Google Voice works for both CM9 & CM10, now.)

Tango frontcam dont work on jelly bean

Hi,
i would like to use the frontcam of my i9000 togehter with tango.
I have tried it with a jb jRO03l-10 and devil and semaphore kernel. With both ones i only can send my backcam.
Tango Support says therefor it´s an unoffical rom it´s not really supported, but it´s been working on GB.
So my question is, does someone uses the i9000 with any jb rom AND have a working frontcam?
I have testet it also with skype, here the frontcam works! But Tango is better
Thx
recently i have testet the actual devil Kernel and it still doesn´t work.
I am wondering that no one has the same problem, because then it must have to do with the rom source.
next test with jvu stock rom gb. Both cams are working normally. So it´s a problem of jelly bean or rom/kernel specific.
it´s not funny to need 10 postings to write in the custom rom threads. Because my imei problems i have noticed are strange and seems to be rom related and i cant post it to them.
I've video called on Skype using the front cam just fine. I'm using JRO03L 4.1.1 with semaphore kernel.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda premium
Several testing later, i have found no custom rom for jb where the frontcam on Tango works. Skype always works fine with both cams.
@nimbah, yes but i would like to know if anyone uses frontcam with tango and custom mod >= 4.04
I tried CM10 but doesn't work either... :crying:

[Q] Slimbean incoming calls messed up name display

I have samsung galaxy s3 sgh-i747m
Installed slimbean custom ROM with slim gapps and also the universal slimbean complete that I got from.the ICSbluethemes category from the website everything is working fine except for one thing
When I get an incoming call and the person who is calling me is not saved to my contacts then the name is all messed up(see picture )
Now this is a huge problem for me because I need to know whose calling me so I was wondering if any of you have this problem or know a fix for it
Thanks in advance
I couldn't find that ics blue theme you were mentioning. I looks like you may have downloaded the incorrect gapps. It also could have been a bad download. I would try downloading the 3.1 gapps again.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
Hey thanks for the quick reply will definitely install the latest gapps
Also this is where I downloaded the theme
slimroms.net/index.php/downloads/all/viewcategory/64-icsbluethemes
i flashed the ROM again and also updated the gapps still had same problem if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know thanks..
I'm using slimbean ROM along with inverted gapps. Both versions 3.1 and I have the exact same problem. Contacts in my phonebook show up fine. It is the network feature that displays the name of the caller who isn't in my contacts that is the problem.
I'm on Rogers network

I downgraded down to a rogers stock 4.0.4 rom(was previously on the newly released 4.1.1 stock rom). Then I flashed it with slimbean 3.0 and inverted slimgapps 3.0 and name display works fine.
Formatted and wiped cache, etc.. and this time flashed with slimbean 3.1 and inverted slimgapps 3.1 and name display also works fine.
I think if you use slimbean in conjunction with a stock 4.1.1 rom, name display will not work.

Bluetooth not working in car

Hi All,
I am running the January 19th AOKP build on my HTC One V. I was able to get the phone to pair with my TSX and can dial out. The problem is that I can't hear anyone after I dial. I was reading it had to do something with the kernel so I flashed the latest version SickleSoftware-01_21_13-1546supersick but it didn't help. Is the issue with the kernel or the ROM? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Would this be a problem with the boot loader (Super Sick) or the actual ROM iteself?

Just try!
I recommend the HELLBOY kernel. works fine for me.
I'm not sure the HELLBOY kernel works with AOKP.
As i said, just try!

Is HELLBOY available for the Primo C? Sorry I didn't mention that.
OK I think the issue lies in the CM 10 build.
I have installed every ROM I can find for the CDMA One V with no luck. I just can't hear anything else through my Handsfree Bluetooth. I tried both SuperSick and JMZ with no luck.
I then went and tried X3reme sense with the 3.0.30 JMZ PrimoC+ and that works with my car.
Is there any way I can change the dialer from the stock to what HTC uses? Maybe I can give that a try.
So I also tried the Stock ICS for the One located here and Bluetooth works in my car (I only have phone not music in my TSX). So I guess I'll need to wait for HTC to bring out the Bluetooth version for JB and try that.

This rom is a little on the lag but I can live with it. Hopefully that doesn't mean the CPU is being pegged and draining the battery.
So the same issue looks to be in 4.2 as well. So this might be above what I can handle. Is there a way I can compare something from the Bluetooth module in x3remeSense010213_signed and Vanilla ICS v2.1 which is running 4.0 and compare it to a 4.2 ROM?
I can pair and the connection is established from my car and the phone, I just can't hear anything with any 4.1 or 4.2 build.

Cyanogenmod 10.1/Dashclock Widget Incompatibility

So I upgraded from CM10.0 stable to CM10.1 monthly 2 yesterday night and everything seems pretty good. However, I tried to download Dashclock widget from the google play store yesterday, yet it says that my Galaxy SIII is incomptabile.
What should I do to fix this? In case it helps, I did a dirty flash. Didn't wipe 10.0 and just installed 10.1 over it.
Android Version: 4.2.2
CM Version: 10.1 (m2 - d2att)
Phone: Galaxy SIII Bell

You can attempt to do a clean wipe install, however I suspect its just not compatible with the new version of JB. CM10 was 4.1.2 and CM10.1 is 4.2.2. So its very possible the developer has not updated their app to include the new version of JB

Thanks everyone. Will try it.
Did the clean install solve your problems?
I'm experiencing a problem with Dashclock incompatibility, where the web version of the Play Store says it's compatible with my phone, but the Play Store on my device says it's incompatible. If I click install via web, nothing happens on my phone.
CM10.1
Custom DPI (but using patched play store)
854x480
Edit: apk installation from file explorer works fine, found this download link: http://www38.zippyshare.com/v/90618241/file.html
dashclock incompatibility
i have cyanogenmod 10.2( android 4.3.1) and im having the same issue where i can install it but cant open it.
i understand u cant use dashclock in cyanogen mod, but if u cant use dashclock is there any substitute for showing your notifications on your clock screen on cyanogenmod?

BBM voice for Android

BBM Voice for Android just out. I find it does not work with Carbon Rom 4.4.2 latest nightly. Has anyone tried it with this rom, or Kitkat rom and found it to be working, or am I just doing something wrong?
Thanks
Didn't kno it was out I'll try it on ?HK?
?TEAMHELLDEVS?
?HELLKAT? T989
Bbm has never behaved properly on anything other than 4.1.2. You're probably going to have to use stock 4.1.2 or a 4.1.2 rom maybe for bbm to work properly.
