Hi guys. This launcher is really pricey but it is super worth it! Check out what I have done with my Nexus 7 after only playing with it for a few minutes. What more when I actually go deeper into the customization abilities of this launcher!?

What do you guys think of this?
Looks like it might drain battery faster with all that animation. I prefer the customization of ssLauncher.
I bought this when it was first released to test it out on my Sensation. I had it on for about a week. LOL It was novel, but lacked a bit of customization. There is a lot you can do with it, don't get me wrong. I dunno, I may play with it again later on my N7.
"Owner of this video made it not available in mobile."
Kinda ironic seeing where it was posted

lol @ this launcher..
It's $17 and they haven't released a single stable version yet.
Look at this release history: http://www.tsfui.com/shell/release_history.html
You're paying $17 to be a beta tester.. For an Android launcher........ LOLOLOLOL

Wrong. They are as stable as any launcher on the market, this launcher is pricey, but I agree with the op, well worth it. You will not find a smoother launcher. Updates are steady and always add extra features not just bug fixes. I've had it since the first released it, it has improved so much more than any other launcher. The development listens to the public and makes changes to improve it.
Love this on my one x especially.
It drains your N7's battery much faster than any other launchers - I tested that so I know what I am saying here.
If you want you N7's battery last longer, use the default launcher. I know there are some simple basic, but more customization launchers out there that has less battery usage.
I don't know about the battery draining because i have been using it for days and have not noticed any significant change in battery life. Even with all the animations this still has no lag when moving from screen to screen.

For 17 bux I would think the graphics would be better. Looks like SPB from WinMo 6.5 days.

I purchased this and ended up un-installing it rather quickly - too many bugs, doesn't work with all widgets and it can't even auto-rotate when you trun the device from portrait->landscape (and vice-versa)! $17 down the drain.... If had auto-rotate, I *might* try living with the other bugs/issues, but the lack of auto-rotate makes it a no-go from the start...
Or am I missing something??

Not sure what problems he's having with launcherpro onEK02, it's running fine on mine but I could swear the options for themes had more than just a selection for what icons to use - which doesn't work. I can manually change them on the home screen though. Other than that everything is perfect.
I highly doubt development for launcherpro has stopped so the "just use go launcher" statement is a bit much. I've used it and love it but the general consensus is it drains the battery pretty quick. Other than that it's great but most people like to get that extra edge on battery life.
Development on LPP has been dead for almost a year. Users are pretty disappointed, and some flat out upset, judging by the hundreds of posts at the dev's last update feed (about gmail notifications being broken).
I have yet to make the jump because the paid version suits me so well, a bit better thsn GO/ADW.
With that said what problems are you experiencing with LPP and ek02? I'm running this without issues.
Launcher Pro has always worked well for me. I picked up ADW on the 10ยข sale, but haven't played with it much yet. But, my question is what problems everyone is having with Launcher Pro. I've used it for years across all my devices, including a Nook Color and it has always been great.
16 dollars is alo to pay for an application especially a home screen replacement i would just like to know if there are any spb users out there is it really worth it?
It's visually entertaining. Other than that it's crap and not worth the price tag.

I didn't like it ...yea it was very pretty and all....but very slow and got real boring after just a few minutes. Not worth the money IMO
Have you tried "GO"? Its free, there are free themes, and an add-on that will put a little circle with a number on the according dock icon to tell you how many missed calls/txt/voicemails you have.
Nothing beats ADW EX

No it is absolutely not worth it. That's mine (and alot of others) opinion of course, but it's certainly not. It barely has any customization, so basically its like having a stock android launcher, with a few built in widgets that do 3d tricks, and the pretty 3d carousel view. Other than that, it doesn't do anything special besides eat alot of memory, battery life, and money out of your pocket. Mine friend bought it, and it was a total waste he's back on ADW Ex.
That depends on if you really like what it does.
If you "love it", then yah, it is worth it, as a launcher can reshape your entire phone interaction.
I got it for my GF, and she loved it on her EVO, but when I upgraded her to the ET4G, I switched her to ADW Ex, mainly so her new phone looks just like my Epic, (except a pink theme)
Would I buy it again,... probably.
Mainly because I jump on every launcher, given the massive changes launchers can do, I cant resist checking out each new one as soon as I get the chance.
Overall, I think it is overpriced for what it does, but a large part of that may be I am simply not a widget person, nor do I like icons on my desktop, and the main attractions of this launcher, at least IMO, are the animated widgets.

GO launcher is nice, but ever since I found out that it collects data from users, I comepletely stopped using it. Been switching off from Launcher Pro and ADW EX (although I prefer ADW for its usual updates. LP hasn't been updated since early this year)

It is cool but not for that much money. It does few things very nicely and yes it is very attractive and I would buy for 1/3 for 1/4 of the price.
It's cool, I liked it, but honestly just try Regina Launcher, it's just as good except it's actually free on the market.

First of all, I absolutely LOVE ICS. I'm even getting a nexus to have AOSP ICS. It's great, but not on this phone. I ran it for 4 days and I am glad I did, but no more. I just want to explain why.
First of all: the camera. While everything but recording WORKS, it does not WORK WELL. The autofocus is awful, and I struggle to take a picture I would take in a second with skyraider. The pictures also are often very grainy. Now, as of AOKP, camcorder works, and flash works on Angel Camera. Everything about the camera works.
Second: Apps. I'm not talking about the ICS apps. They are incredible. On our phone though, many apps I love, like temple run , as well as others crash or just don't work. Some apps just have lots of FC's.All apps except for temple run that I use have no issues now.
Third: Battery life (depends on ROM). On AOKP, the battery life is absolutely abysmal. However, it is wonderful on the Nexus, which is why it is strange to me. I have many media wakelocks, and other issues. Getting amazing battery life with build 31 of AOKP with aero's v9 kernel.
Fourth: Stability. Just today, my gallery decided to stop working. Before, I have had random lockups, a mess of FC's and many other things. For me, it's very important to have whatever feature I need, when I need it. Not in 5 minutes, not in a hour. If I need to take a picture, I need to take one. If I need to check a website, the browser had better not start force closing. If I need to download an app, the Play Store had better not crash 5 times. Twice today, my phone decided to just have a black screen when getting a phone call, and I couldn't answer them. I have not had any issues with ICS stability on this build or the last couple of aero's.
Note though, that I am not saying that YOU shouldn't run ICS. In fact, if you can, DO IT! Just I can't, sadly. The developers do an absolutely incredible job porting this stuff no thanks to HTC. I really want to thank them for that. I'll just be sticking with GB unless there's a leak for us. I just wanted to write this up, not sure why. Oh, well.
Now, ICS is amazing, and there is no reason anyone shouldn't run it, unless you are stuck on sense!
Party on Wayne!
I'm excited for ics, but until we get a good leak I don't see me using it for a while

You're rationalizing. Embrace the mediocre pictures. I can't leave ics because the cm9 music and MusicFX I flashed sounds so fn awesome it makes me cry.

Are you getting a nexus one(good battery), nexus s(also good battery, or a galaxy nexus( the battery is so bad it can't keep up with charge). Just wondering, I'd go for the nexus s if I didn't have a upgrade and I needed a new phone.
If I had an upgrade I'd get the rezound. I like soft keys(actually I don't like the red soft keys on the rezound, I like the ones on the dinc 2 better), even though are soft keys are a part of the touch screen. It's the fastest phone on the market, and it can take amazing pics. Not to mention the battery is good and development is plentiful. And its getting ics soon......
IDK why I wrote this
Sent from my ADR6350 using XDA
Huh, so the Galaxy Nexus has horrible battery. Let's see what an extended battery, franco kernel, and AOKP have to say about that. Oh, yeah, with stock battery and AOKP/franco, you get 3 hrs screen on time. Woops. And the Rezound is my least fav phone out of the "big 3". Now that has terrible battery life. I have a friend, you know the one that gave all the ICS leaks to the Rezound users? Yeah, him. He tried a Nexus and said the battery was amazing compared to his Rezound. Also, the Rezound is really thick, overheats, and has Sense 3.5/.6. Ugh.

I have to say. The battery on the ICS builds are not bad at all. I am running areos 31 build with stock kernel oc 1.2 and still have an all day battery with moderate usage. But to each his own.

I wish the op best of luck, but I hated the GN. Terrible battery life, awful looking screen and one of the worst radios I have ever used in a phone. The only thing good about it was that it ran ICS natively.

Agreed, running the same here, getting a solid 2+ days battery life with light/moderate usage. I don't take many pics so not too worried about the camera. Music FC's on me every now and again, but I haven't had a single hiccup or reboot otherwise.
I do wonder if it's possible (perhaps in an upcoming build) to lock the messaging app & launcher in memory, as sometimes the messaging app is slow upon initially launching.
I'm gonna give ics one more shot with build 29 of aokp

Everything will get even better once htc releases the ICS kernel.

Well, I came straight from stock 2.3.3 to ICS. No other mods/roms of any kind. Been running for about 24 hours now and no problems at all. No lag, no force closes and no reboots. I have the 3500 mAh HTC battery and I've been heavily using it for these 24 hours and I've lost maybe 15%. When I say heavily, I mean drooling at the screen four hours. I'm amazed. At first I hated the video I seen of ics when it was first announced, I thought it was the ugliest thing I've ever seen, but im loving it rite now. I hope I can talk my bro in law out of this phone lol.

So for those of you who have pre-ordered / funded the kickstarter, what are your opinions so far?
Personally, I'm pretty torn about it right now. I really love the idea and I really want to use it all the time, but nothing works that great on it, yet. I'm not trying to sound harsh because I understand it's still in BETA, I just can't use it as a daily launcher. While load times have improved it still hogs up resources substantially more than any other launcher. They're slowly getting new widgets which is nice, but mine frequently crash. I constantly have connection problems with Facebook and sometimes they all just go blank. So, I'm curious if you all are having similar experiences. With the widget SDK being released soon I'm looking forward to 3rd party widgets.
It's ok. I'm using it as my daily and widgets crash like there's no tomorrow. It has a long way to go to be a functional launcher, imo.

Ya... I'm just using it as daily cause km bored with stock launcher right now. It's not stable enough for a real daily driver

Its not bad but also not great imo right now. First had problems with the app drawer getting jumbled when swiping and now with the latest update my weather and Facebook Widgets just sit there with circles rotating until I remove and add the widget again. Don't really use as a daily or anything. I will give it a test though everytime it updates. Still needs some work before releasing in this next month

Needs a lot more work, which is happening as per the devs release notes. Would wait for the public build + x weeks before buying it: my advice.

I've tried it and it is really nice, but I uninstalled it because it consumed too much battery and ram. The final version when it comes out I will definitely try again
I use it, it works pretty good.
I installed this launcher to try the Chrome OS theme from mycolorscreen, The Launcher is pretty good, but i just cannot leave the fast and fluid stock one.

Edit: never mind I got it working on Nexus 7
Nice launcher, but it needs a bit more development.
This is amazing. Just downloaded it and it runs beautifully and love how it comes pre set up.
Rather confusing launcher, I think I will try it out again and try to get the Chrome theme on it, but honestly wasn't impressed.
This is not just another launcher. A completely new launcher.
Congrats guys, very innovative. More innovative than apple and Samsung all together
Gotcha, now after watching the tutorial video I see the potential this launcher has. Great work!
Just a very very good launcher, I'm impressed !
Buy it's very annoying to have to download a lot of gadgets for it to be perfect.
And some french traduction of the main app and of the widget are awful, that makes the application hard to configure.

second thought: after a couple of days using this launcher and paying close attention to the battery usage, I have to say that it does not drain as much as i thought. I guess it depends on what homepack you download/use.
This launcher really makes my phone a lot better looking, with very little time and energy. And the customization freedom is huge!
I have now officially uninstalled Go Launcher.

Its alot closer to SSL Launcher but in a clean more user friendly interface. Can't wait for it to be stable now. I put the Chrome theme on it that was shared earlier and its sick! Trying to replicate the Chrome theme on other launchers like Apex and Nova using Multi-Live Wallpaper and its becoming even more tedious. This makes things alot easier when creating a theme for mycolorscreen.
Corrupt colors and textures.. I was seeing alpha channel instead with some textures.
Beautiful and innovative home screen, high battery+ram usage, boring app drawner

This is a fantastic tool for customization, a congratulations to the app developers on this one. Let's hope it catches on and we get an influx of themes.
