Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

It happens to me too, I'm using exajoule rom, i just remove the widget then add it again, even my wife is having the same thing on stock rom. Don't know any other way to fix it. Inc tried to uninstall also but it happens again.

Root, now sense clock doesn't work

Noticed that after I rooted, my clock no longer comes up if I tap on it from the home screen. The sense clock/weather widget. Is there a way to fix this.

I had this issue before rooting. My phone started uninstalling different apps. I just did factory resets to get them back, but now that you are rooted, look in the android development section and find a rom you like and flash it.

here's the .apk for the deskclock from my old eris....i had the same problem so i just pulled this one from my old phone and pushed it to my Dinc2 using adb. the picture button doesnt work but the alarm, music and home do.
I noticed this last night after initially flashing a custom ROM.
Have you used a program like Titanium BAckup? If so, I would check that to see if any programs are 'frozen'. My clock was, so I thawed it and the widget works perfectly.
Delete, duplicate post... opps
If you have Titanium Backup, check the clock app, more than likely, it will need to be "Defrosted". That should get you back up and running
Edit... Didn't notice the above post
Ha, thanks guys. It was frozen in Titanium. Why was it frozen in the first place?
thanks again.

Not sure why it's frozen... My clock quit before I rooted, but after rooting and installing Titanium I took a look and it was frozen (I had heard about the unfreezing method from another post, and sure enough, it worked). My news was also frozen as well, crazy
Yep, fixed mine too

Post rooting issues.

After installing juggernaut 5.0 on my phone with the ics ultimate theme I have had a couple of problems.
I have noticed on my home screen (i have cnn, accuweather, and and retro clock and date widgets in it) I have seen portions of the screen flash blue (like half the screen sometimes)
Did I kill my phone?
Also swiftkey x keyboard keeps on disabling itself.
Please help me, thanks

Also the blue flash problems takes over the whole screen at times and it looks like it has lines going down in them.

Did you install the correct ICS theme? The one for 5.0 and not 4.1?
give it another reboot then perhaps the rom will settle down....thats what i would do...

You also want to make sure you always restart after flashing a ROM, then go back into recovery and flash a theme. Don't flash them back to back.

Well I just rebooted my phone let's see if it happens again... Yes it's the 5.0 version of the theme and i rebooted after I flashed the rom before I installed the theme.

Disabling TW Dialer?

Lately, the dialer app has been using way too much battery for some reason. It says 68% as of now. I don't get what makes it use so much battery, especially since I use "GO contacts" as an alternative.
So I want to disable it all together. I tried freezing with Titanium Backup, but it doesn't seem like it's working. It just stays on the "Freezing..." message forever.
Any ideas?
check Usb debugging before freezing?

You could try a dif launcher. I was always a adw guy, but I haven't been getting forcecloses with the ics one since the last release.

What are these zoom icons in landscape?

I'm probably overlooking something monumentaly stupid, but in every single app, when in portrait mode I have these annoying zoom icons that don't actually do anything. I can't say when it started, or if they've always been there. Maybe I'm going crazy. I'm on blazer 3.7, gunslinger kernel.
Attached is an image from my Gmail on landscape. Any idea what this is or how to turn it off?

Did you try to delete cache and data for gmail?
If the same thing happens, then it would be some configuration issue. If it only happens on gmail, then remove and reinstall the gmail.
If still happens the same thing, then it could be related to rom and gmail version.
Be sure that which version of gmail is supported on your rom.
Thanks for responding.
The issue happens in literally every application.

the next thing we may check would be the launcher. Which one are you using? Is it happens on different launcher also?
Stock touch wiz, at least what's included on blazer. Now it went away in gmail but does it in the browser and a number of other apps. I'll probably just wipe everything and try blazer 4.0.

[Q] LPP and TouchWiz fighting for default launcher

Every time I reboot my Glide, the phone automatically goes to LauncherPro (good!). However, when I tap the home key (even if I am focused on LPP), I get prompted to change the default launcher. Every time, I tap the checkbox for default, and select LPP. All is well, until I reboot my phone, and the whole process starts over again. Any suggestions?
There should be a lil box asking if u wanna keep said launcher as default...

As I said above, I always click the default launcher checkbox. And on every reboot, it is unset.
Have you tried freezing the offending launcher? If you don't even use it. Then you could even delete the launcher? Problem solved. why keep two launchers in the first place...

I am on an unrooted stock ICS rom, and freezing TwLauncher is disabled (button greyed) through the settings/applications/all menu.
That's your problem. A solution for stock may be a lot harder to come by. The stock launcher will always try to resurface like that. It also still uses its resources.

Is that new to the ICS update? This never happened under the last two versions of GB for the Glide...
