I have Go Locker and Go Launcher and when I unlock my phone it vibrates, I want to disable this but can't figure out how. I've looked in the Samsung settings, go locker settings, and launcher settings but no joy....
can someone help?
Found the answer; its' in "lock feedback" section of Go Locker.

[Q] Forced Lock Screen

I checked around and unless I missed something in the ICS discussion topic, I haven't seen anyone report this issue.
I am running stock ICS, un-rooted and am also using Go Launcher and Go Locker (relevance explained shortly).
Before updating to ICS today, the only time the default factory unlock screen would appear would be after a reboot. Once booted, Go Locker would unlock the phone.
After the ICS update, the factory default lockscreen appears anytime I try to launch an application from the Notification screen (click on text message, USB storage, etc.) even though I've already "unlocked" the phone using Go Locker.
The only way I've found to disable this "forced lockscreen" is to either turn off Go Locker and use the default lockscreen OR to use Go Locker and select the default lock screen to None or Swipe.
Is there a solution for this that doesn't require root?
I kinda liked having the pattern lockscreen on reboot and would prefer to keep it, but not at the expense of having to unlock every time I get a notification.
Thanks in advance, and apologies if this has been reported before
[EDIT]
- Problem occurs when using a security setting above Swipe (face unlock, pin, pattern, etc.)
- When clicking on a notification and using the Face unlock setting, phone freezes and does not show camera (power cycle will clear it)
- Go Locker tries to unlock after factory lockscreen after power cycle
Since this was working fine before the ICS update, my uneducated conclusion is that Go Locker needs an update to accommodate changes made in ICS.

[Q] Lockscreen and Google Now Questions

Hey guys, have the Nexus, really like it, have a couple of questions.
1. My GN is unrooted. I'm using widget locker. First you unlock the widget locker screen and then on the stock screen you put in the passcode. Is there any way to still need a passcode and take care of the password on the widget locker page? It's a nuisance to have to slide to unlock on widget locker which pointlessly leads me to the stock lockscreen.
2. I know that you can active Google Now by saying google once you are in Google now. Is there any way to activate it by having the microphone always on so you can say google even when the screen is off and the phone is locked? iPhone cydia has an app like this that I really like. Wondering if anything similar is possible on the GN.

When you're on the homescreen, a long press on the headset button brings up Google Now and asks for a voice prompt. No need to say "google". Works this way with the stock headset.

Thanks but I'm looking for it to be totally hands free so I can bring up google now in the car without having to touch the phone.

S-Voice Double Tap From Lockscreen?

I can't seem to figure out if it's possible to activate S-Voice from the lockscreen with a double tap of the home button?
I don't want to burn by battery up using the voice wake for S-Voice on the lockscreen because the device is always listening.
I'm running Widget Locker, but I disabled it and still couldn't get S-Voice to activate from Lockscreen with double tap.
Am I missing something or is it just not possible?
It appears the only way to do this is in Security settings to turn the Unlock setting to NONE. Then in Widget Locker, enable the Allow Home Button option.
But then I believe there is no way to lock your phone. Seems the only way I can think of to access S-voice from lockscreen and be able to lock the phone is to add S-Voice to one of the docked apps on the lockscreen. But that didn't work, as S-voice won't do anything until you enter the lock code. Makes sense as S-Voice would give you access to opening a lot of apps and such on the phone.
So it seems I have to either live with the phone never being locked, or have to type a PIN or whatever to unlock it to use S-Voice.
Smart Lock App was the answer. Now I can double tap home for S-voice from lockscreen, but you need a pin to get into my email and Facebook apps. Not I just need to figure out anything else I need to lock. No sensitive data on the card. The main thing is not allowing anyone into anything they can make payments or access my cloud files. Guess I should lock Google Play since it has automatic payment of apps?

[Q] disable lock screen

hey everyone. I have a question. I searched but didn't see what I was looking for in this phone forum. I got the N2 on Friday, came from the epic touch. I was running Easy Profiles on the e4gt and wanted to use it again on the N2. Well, I am still am for sound changes. But one of the main reasons I use EP is to disable the lock screen when I was at home and enable it when I was not at home. I know jellybean broke EPs capability for this. So... my question is... what else can I use? I don't mind using a widget but the auto changer with EP was awesome! (and once they fix it, I'll go back to that primarily I'm sure) I've tried no lock and no lock screen. neither disable the lock screen. I've tried all 3 apps with my systems settings as slide to lock, lock with pattern and no lock. it's just not doing what I want it to and I'm at a loss. if I set the system lock to any type of lock, no lock and no screen lock wouldn't keep it unlocked when it was engaged. if I changed the system settings to no lock, the 2 apps wouldn't lock it. easy profiles has 2 different options with the lock screen and I've tried multiple variations with that too. does anyone have any suggestions? ideas? apps to try? I am currently downloading a few ROMs to try out but I'm thinking it's a jellybean issue and not a stock rom issue.
I was in the exact same boat and loved EasyProfiles.
I started using Tasker yesterday and checked out: http://tasker.wikidot.com/profile-index
I still at noob at it but managed to disable the pattern keyguard.
Now I think it is a JB limitation but Tasker ability to disable kerguard stops once you chose something in the Notification bar.
Check it out, what they say about it true. Tasker is awesome and I'm only now learning how great it is- like automating talking SMS when in the car. EasyProfiles couldn't do that.
thanks. I'll look into it again. I downloaded it last night but uninstalled because I didn't see what I was looking for and didn't have the brain capacity to figure it out!
Try this for starters:
Profile "Unlock wifi" - State -> Net -> wifi connected
Task "Unlock"- Display -> Keyguard -> off
I used that to work yesterday and will play/learn more today.
Like I said though, accessing the notifications makes it lock again so I toggle the wifi off/on to make Tasker disable keyguard again.
I installed secure settings from the market, disabled everything but pattern lock in it. then went back to easy profiles, set locale app as secure settings and so far it's working.
