if u install it urself then go in to settings then apps
find it hit on it an uninstall
if it was install in the rom u have install then do it
wiht rootexplore
go into system an find the app then delete it
then clear dalvikcase an its gone
If it's a mod rather than an app, you'll have to install the ROM again. If you don't wipe, you should keep all your apps and data, but take a nandroid backup just in case.
Hey,
you can delete it with Titanium Backup root
Otherwise you have to reflash ROM like BenPope told.

There is way to changing my rom to another?with out lossing data and apps?
In titanium backup there is an option that saying create update.zip ,this option can restore data& installed apps after changing to new rom?
Thank u so much.

Not sure if that is a question? Or a statement!
Anyway assuming the first.....then yes use Titanium to back up all user apps and data. Also run the batch for system files and user data. Then after you flash a new ROM just install Titanium again and then "Restore user apps and data". Select only the third party apps to start with until you get a feel for the new Rom and what it includes 'out of the box'.
I never manager to figure out the update.zip thing even though I tried a couple of times to run the create batch.

You restore all your data in Titanium by pressing the Menu button and then pressing "Batch". Then you should see the restore all etc.
The update.zip option in the app is for restoring the actual backup app itself.

Can anyone tell me how to upgrade to gingervillan from the defrost 6.1 rom without losing my data and settings? Do I do a nandroid or titanium backup? I'm kinda new to the rooting scene.

You will lose your settings as you are flashing a new Rom.
1. To keep apps: titanium backup (backup apps + data)
2. If you want to keep other data such as messages etc: my backup pro (this can backup your apps too but rather use titanium for apps)

backup files are on ur microsd , nand backup should be in clockworkmod folder (if u're using clockworkmod recovery) , as for apps backed up by titanium they are in the titanium folder
when u do a wipe and flash a new ROM,just install titanium again and restore the apps u want.

Actually settings can be saved, too (Homescreen, Icons, widgets, Messages, WiFi etc. ) with Titanium backup.
you should also ofcourse do a NANDbackup if you ever want to go back to your old rom. when you restore a NANDbackup everything will look the same as before the rom change.
dudes does any one know how to integrate any downloaded apks( those with a backup copy) into cm7 #177 or any other rom from the phone itself( conditioning that the rom is currently installed and running) . i know ther is an option in titanium backup latest version, but it implies only to integration of updates of system applications only. but i need to integrate downloaded/ installed app to the current rom. is there any apps available in market or some where else which can do what i need? i ask becose i know rom cooking is a hard process and that needs an update flashing. so i just want to avoid it. or can i do it with adb with a mounted system partition? can any body help me?
to moderators:- if i posted this thread in wrong section, pls move to appropriate section. as i know it is a question topic, but i put it here due to the reason that it is some thing about rom cooking/ updating.

not exactly adding into zip. but need to add into the currently installed rom, all the way from phone itself( more convenient) or from a computer.

I tried this moving of downloaded apk to system app long time back.
It has both positive and negative effects. By moving an app to system , it loads everytime the system boots making the startup slower. And by moving apps to system u don't need to reinstall those apps on hard reset.
To move a downloaded app to system just move the apk from /data/app to /system/app and change its permissions to rw-r-r. Then clear the application data and cache (also dalvik cache). Then restart the phone to check whether the app is working or not. One thing is recommended. Donot rename the apk. Most of the apk names in /data/app will be like com.xyz.abc. Eventhough most apks I tried worked with any name.
And inspite of doing all these some apps will not work when moved to system partition. Perfect examples are "x-plore" , "swype" , "operamini".

I was using the Titanium Backup to restore the apps after installing a new ROM, but it ask permission to install every app (I have about 100 apps).
Do someone know an easy and free way to restore a lot of apps after installing a new ROM?

Look for ic_backup and ic_restore here on XDA. These are flashable zips from recovery. Sorry, cannot upload them atm.

Many thanks!!!
After a little bit of googling I found the ic_backup and ic_restore:

It will be very easy to install a new ROM now
The paid version of Titanium allows batch restore. It will also restore to previous app location (int or sd) if that box is checked.
I uninstall it and now when i want to reinstall it it told me i'm out of space but i have 5gb left and i can install all other apps from play store i am rooted and i have clear cache using clear master i clear all of it and try agin but it steel told me i'm out of space is there any chance to get it back?
(Sorry for bad eanglish)
I am going to flash a custom rom and i want to backup my stuck rom is there any app similar with titanium backup??

Thx for helping i have try all backup apps from store and i find ultimate backup that allow me to backup system UI and touchWiz home the best help you can get it is from yourself
Multiple posts don't help at all...
Backing up system data can be dangerous when you'll restore.
There are many apps that backup user data as Helium, App Backup & Restore, MyBackup... You can also use a PC software.
You are the first one who respond the
Now it doesn't matter because I have flashed a custom rom and it's work great
And sorry for multi posting but no one was there to respond
