ALWAYS before flashing anything backup, test whatever you flashed. If it did bot work as expected or you are unhappy with it, restore your backup.

Why the kernels are so hard to flash?
I have tried everything and still cannot flash....
Why the developers doesn't make a flashable zip for flash the kernel on Cwm?
?

I can't say for sure so its just a theory but I think it has to do with the device not being s off.
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
your phone must s off.you can use your phone flash boot.img. Otherwise don't want disorderly think, don't say why developers do not flash kernel mod.

I tried with the all in one software, but it reboots my phone every time I tried to flash kernel.. and I have tried with cmd...it doesn't do anything
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
You need to first install proper HTC driver for your device.
Download HTC Sync Manager from this link..
http://www.htc.com/in/help/htc-one-v/#download
Install it and then try to flash a kernel through Fastboot.
Hope that helped.

No, nothing seems to work
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
I just rooted and flashed the recoveries and it seems to be working ok. however I can't backup my stock rom using the twrp. It will say something like unable to mount sdcard and unable to recreate android secure folder etc. I am pretty sure there is nothing wrong with my sd card and I am not sure if there is something else I have to do before I try to backup anything. Any help would be much appreciated!
Try clockworkmod recovery....

I did. I installed it and when I tried to back up, there was a black screen with a hat thing in the middle. It doesn't seem to be running or doing anything..does it supposed to be like that?

I have about 2 gigs, I think that should be sufficient.
So I deleted the stock messaging app with titanium backup and now I can't get mms but I can get ask with gosms, but isn't to restore the stock texting app and I can't it won't restore. It sits as if it's restoring but it won't I've let it sit for around 15mins and it won't. Any ideas?

I did this from the stock deodexed rom and I don't see the mms app installed after reboot. I'm on 100%stock rom but I used a deodexed version is that why? My computer broke and my backup of stock is on it and not on my phone. I could try to fix it but so far nothing is working so my backup as far as I'm concerned is gone. Any ideas?

This mod simply removes the red text that shows up in HBoot.
YOU MUST BE S-OFF!
Instructions:
1. Download RemoveRedTextHboot.zip
2. Rename to PM36IMG.zip
3. Copy to your sdcard (external not internal)
4. Reboot into bootloader and hit volume up when prompted
5. Profit
Download
How do you get s-off though?

android_secure stores encrypted versions of the apps moved to external SD card.....You'll have probably to reinstall some apps. Hopefully the data is intact on the system partition
