I just rooted and flashed the recoveries and it seems to be working ok. however I can't backup my stock rom using the twrp. It will say something like unable to mount sdcard and unable to recreate android secure folder etc. I am pretty sure there is nothing wrong with my sd card and I am not sure if there is something else I have to do before I try to backup anything. Any help would be much appreciated!

I did. I installed it and when I tried to back up, there was a black screen with a hat thing in the middle. It doesn't seem to be running or doing anything..does it supposed to be like that?

I have about 2 gigs, I think that should be sufficient.

Hi all, I flashed miuiv4 and after that whenever I connect my phone to PC and click 'turn on USB storage' my PC recognises it as a CD drive.
I flashed cm10 again( it was already on my SD card) but its still showing the same error so it is not a problem of miui. I have tried using win7 and win8 also, still nothing is happening. Is that a problem with my PC?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

ALWAYS before flashing anything backup, test whatever you flashed. If it did bot work as expected or you are unhappy with it, restore your backup.

android_secure stores encrypted versions of the apps moved to external SD card.....You'll have probably to reinstall some apps. Hopefully the data is intact on the system partition

I can not install recovery for WFS with all the CWM and TWRP recovery. When using cmd to install recovery, then everything is fine but when the recovery is just a black screen or just the HTC screen. Even when using all in one kit everything remains unchanged.

Ok. I confirm that makes backup and recovery had another version and gave me error MD5. Thanks
I put cyanogenmod 10.2.1 on my phone. In the setting I clicked update to nightly but it aborted. My backups are no where to be found and I can't use my phone. Could someone please help me with getting it working again. Doesn't matter if it's rooted or not I just need it back. I can't use CWM to get usb mount and can't seem to get files on there. Thanks in advance. Also I have been searching for the last hour.
