Am I the only one who has a problem with this? It's really getting on my nerves that after I looked at an app in the play store I click back button and I'm back at the top of the list and have to scroll all the way back down to find the next app...
Is there a workaround or fix? I can't be the only one.....

Nope you are not the only one
I don't think it stayed like ever

Yeh, it's one of the things that makes Playstore so frustrating to use. The other is that you can't sort search results by criteria like number of stars, permissions, cost, popularity, compatibility, etc.
I heard something about an apk called "play legend" it allows you to see which apps you purchased like in GB but i dunno about this issue

dito man its a great app but can still use some obvious improvements. Sorting and saving where you are on the list being at the top.
Seems like the fixed it with the new play store update. I love Google. I complain and they immediately fix it....... At least this time

Yeah but it's been like this since the playstore was released. I believe the old market had the same issue, but I really don't remember.
Mine too, definitely annoying when browsing "My Apps", and I have to scroll all the way down again.

Is there a way to keep apps in memory?
I have a Galaxy Nexus which has a lot of ram. I only use some minor applications but it seems the system kills the processes which are only several mb all the time.
When I check my free ram its mostly half empty.
Is there a way to tell android to keep an app in memory?

Anybody has any way of doing this?
I'd like to keep my game in my RAM so that i dont have to load it every time i wanna play it (which is oftenly)
Any apps that can select stuff to keep in RAM?
That's not how multitasking on Android works. First of all it's the apps choice what it does if you bring it to the background (if it gets suspended or is left running). And then there is Android which will throw out any background app, that is not taking the necessary steps to prevent this from happening, pretty quickly if it is using to much cpu time/RAM. So games won't run in the background by design, not much you can du about that.
Give this a shot

There was an experimental feature going of not killing anything unless you kill manually
There is some leg work involved to get working on jb... but V6 has been around a while and I've run it in one form or another(lots of options) on every android device I've owned since I learned of it.

I dont know im having the same situation but i think you need to have touch sounds enabled by going to settings/sound/scroll down to where touch sounds is and it should be check marked
What rom do you use bcause i use CyanogenMod 10.1 Nightly
Deinstall app first and then install again from play store is the solution

hello mate. it can be very frustrating for the app to load a long time. sometimes, the app itself is not stable enough. lots of people complained about the android facebook app. just read it at playstore and look at their comments.. that could be the main factors to yr problem. try updating yr app to a newer version or revert to the previous versions of the app. hope it helps. cheers..
The latest version is quite speedy actually..

ok, it must have been yr 3G network. maybe yr 3G provider caps at low speed... try checking with them.
hi,
yeah i also have this problem in germany.. but really just with mobile data! me and my friend tested it with mobile internet. It did NOT load. Not on my handy, not on his handy. Then he turned hotspot on, i connected to it. now, with hotspot (-> wifi again, but over his mobile internet that didnt load facebook app therefore) it worked more than well.
I guess just a bug with the mobile Internet but I guess it was fixed in the last update tho.
I have a work around. USE facebook via your browser. The interface is similar to the app and it definitely loads faster than the app. It also allows you a few other features that the app doesn't (bugs or design... I don't know... Fb app has always been ****e).

Then make factory reset through bootloader.... Be sure to save all content from sd to PC because they might get deleted... What did you before this happened?
Gesendet von meinem HTC One X mit Tapatalk 2
In fact i already did a factory reset from bootloader but same thing.
I did not do anything specificaly. I am on non rooted stock rom and did not install any specific app.
There are talks that the problem is to internet provider but talked to them this morning and they told me that everyrhing is fine with them.
I'm really pissed of without play store and what is even more terrible I tried everything and no fix for this problem.

He says that if I use (Vala 900)-mobile network operator Play store will not work, but with (IPKO) operator it works.
The pity thing is that I'm with IPKO and doesn't work. However mobile-gsm operator has to do nothing with internet connection. As I removed SIM and still same thing.
I admit it drives me crazy as I do not know that else I can try.

DO you think that it could be a problem from Google not releasing the service for Kosovo. I just talked to the official internet provider and thay say that they are aware of this problem and it has nothing to do with the provider. However they do not know that is the problem.
It is strange that even in PC Google play store does not work, no application is showed on the menu or if you search any siple application it says that does not exist.
See attached picture.
Strange?

Love this phone to death but the slow texting is driving me insane. Every single task is buttery fast, super fast, smooth, etc. But when I am texting (I use hangouts) I get SOOOO many words wrong because the delay of typing is just awful.
Is it hangouts? The keyboard? Any advice guys?
Anything to helping this situation will help.
In the meantime, the otterbox defender series says that the leather variant doesn't work, but it does! The case is great too! If anybody is still looking for one I recommend it.
find different apps for msg/keyboard?
google keyboard and 8sms work speedy for me on g4
I don't notice any issues here with hangouts, but I also use swype keyboard. Maybe it's the lg keyboard?

no issues w/ google keyboard
I use Kii, and I have no issues.
LG says its the keyboard causing tons of problems and issued an update today that supposedly fixes it. The keyboard background service is apparently hogging background resources and causing apps to miss touches.
It was released today but I do not see it available yet on the US carriers. Hopefully someone releases the APK and we can manually update.
In the mean time you can Disable the LG keyboard app and install another. That will probably work
Just use google keyboard. Works great.

I think I got it from Aptoide. I bought the paid version from the app store a while ago. Seems that Google shafted the devs though, and it's long gone. I still have that one on my Galaxy S4.
