I tried a lot of rru's = FAILD, gold card i can;t make = FAILD, i can't flash recovery, boot, system because i have S-ON = FAILD, i tried AlphaRev, revolutionary, unrevoked to S-off = ZERO.
Now, the big question : only Jtag can rezolv those problems ?

Try Bortaks thread. It is a sticky. I am sure you will find your answer.

S-ON
"I'm S-ON, I can't boot recovery, and my phone doesn't boot "
This is a bit of a worse situation, as you cannot flash system critical parts such as the recovery image and just restore a backup.
This unfortunately means that you will lose all of your data when you attempt to fix the phone.
[STEP1]- Make sure that you have a goldcard. If not, create one from the tutorial.
[STEP2]- Battery pull. Hold the BACK button and the POWER button to boot into FASTBOOT mode.
[STEP3]- Download the latest WWE RUU from here
[STEP4]- Run the RUU and wait for completion WARNING: DO NOT, BY ANY CIRCUMSTANCES INTERRUPT THE PROCESS -
THIS WILL MORE THAN LIKELY END UP WITH A BRICKED PHONE - NOT EVEN IF GOD HIMSELF TELLS YOU TO DO SO, OR IF THE US PRESIDENT THREATENS YOU WITH
THERMO-NUCLEAR WAR
[STEP5]- Once the phone is booted, you are now returned completely to stock. You will need to re-root again, and I'd recommend S-OFF

[Q] device broken? ==> SOLVED

Hello,
hope you can helpe me...
I'd on my device InsertCoin "installed" an wanted to go back to stock rom.
During the RUU-Process I got a failed (system partition).
Now I can see only a HTC-Logo on a black screen an 4 exclamation marks (one in each corner) - when I plugin and unplug a usb-cable I can see following:
AlphaRev CM7 r2
BRAVO PVT3 SHIP S-OFF
HBOOT-6-93-1002
MICROP-051d
TOUCH PANEL-SYNW0101
RADIO-5.11.05.27

..and two exclamation marks (bottom corners)
fastboot devices responses with "SH09CPL01234 fastboot", ALL OTHER fastboot commands resulting with "FAILED (status read failed (Too many links))"
Is there any way the device back? (searching now for two days...)
many thanks
M$
hi, You did not search enough see bortak guide on top of q&a
Or:
download stock hboot from alpharev
flash it via fastboot
then you can run CORRECT RUU according to your cid from shipped-roms

Flash alpharev downgrader first before running RUU
hmmm...at lease an update
Changed the USB-Cable - now the fastboot commands are working.
Flashed boot and recovery and tried my RUU.
However "my" RUU is not working as the CID has changed to VODAP102. (Error 131).
Searching now for the correct RUU (not found on shipped-roms.com)
As I didn't found a working RUU:
Is there any way to change the CID at the current phone status?
Or how can I create a GoldCard when the phone isn't working? (the way shown at the Q&A didn't work - ReadCID.exe doesn't show any output)
kind regards M$
i dont think a card reader works either. have u another phone or someone u know have a phone with sd card? if so use that to create a goldcard
Sent from my HTC Desire
So the GoldCard can be "created" in ANY phone - it must not be that one where it will be used?
M$
yh because the goldcard is ur sdcard. plug in the phone, run the goldcard tool it should detect the sdcard then press get cid, once it shows cid copy it then click the link below it to take u to the site where u create the goldcard then paste ur cid number and follow the other instructions then once u have the goldcard downloaded go back to goldcard tool, press the load goldcard (i think thats what it says) find the file on ur computer and select it then press patch r something like that and ur done. it should say succes sdcard is now a goldcard r something along those words. hope thats not too confusing lol

[Q] Bricked Desire? Plz FAST HELP, Im beginner :-/

I tried to go back to the stock ROM.I've downloaded RUU.exe, installed HTC Sync..I ran RUU.exe, all were fine, but at the 99% (this dont have to be the correct number) it said Error 110..Now I cant do anything with Desire..If I try to turn on Desire with power button, its just in the middle logo HTC and on the edges are 4 triangels or something like that..The same when I try to turn it on with power and vol.down ..:-/
I really dont know that to do,cause Im noob with HTC..I only had Samsung and never got something like this..PLZ help me
go to Desire Q&A/Stickies (first post) and read bortaks troubleshooting guide number [4] i think ruu problems
Sent from my HTC Desire
Thx for reply,so I find this:
[4]RUU PROBLEMS
"I tried using a RUU, but it failed, and now my phone is stuck on a black HTC Screen with /!\ In every corner!"
Possible Causes:
- You were S-OFF and you flashed a custom bootloader from alpharev
- You didn't check the MD5 Sums before proceeding, and the download may have been corrupted.
- You tried using the wrong RUU
Fixing your problem
Your phone is stuck in RUU mode. RUU mode is like fastboot mode, and can still receive fastboot commands, therefore it can be easily "fixed". It helps to have a goldcard for this problem, so that you can use any RUU you want.
S-OFF
[STEP1]- download "Bravo Stock" from Alpharev
[STEP2]- download Android Flasher
[STEP3]- use android flasher to flash "Bravo Stock"
[STEP4]- run the RUU again and wait for it to finish
S-ON
If you're S-ON it eliminates the possibility of you having a custom bootloader, and the only possibility now is that the RUU was corrupted or you used the wrong RUU for your device. Therefore, for this process you need a goldcard.
[STEP1]- Create the goldcard from the tutorial
[STEP1]- Use the WWE RUU
NOTE: If you are restoring for warranty purposes, unless you bought an unbranded phone, using the WWE RUU will VOID YOUR WARRANTY, and you should use the 2.3.3 RUU (link available from #resources)
Im really beginner ,I dont know how can I do it..Im S-OFF..They say I need to download bravo stock from http://alpharev.nl/ But there are 2 bravo stock:
bravo_alphaspl.img and PB99IMG_stock which should I download and how can I flash it? I cant turn on my desire and I cant turn it with power+vol.down.. what can i do now?
pull the battery out and put back in, hold volume down then hold power, tell me what happens
Sent from my HTC Desire
As I said in the title and there is same,
"I tried using a RUU, but it failed, and now my phone is stuck on a black HTC Screen with triangle In every corner!"
yes i know but in first post u said power and vol down. just thought u did it wrong. did u try hold back button and hold power? that takes u to fastboot and u can get to hboot from there. u need to get to the hboot menu for the PB99IMG to work
Sent from my HTC Desire
Its the same:-/ Always black HTC Screen with triangle In every corner..I think its totally bricked...
hmm u need fastboot for android flasher to work
Sent from my HTC Desire
Ok, I understand, but I cant get to fastboot :-/ Is there any other way to get there?
lol i dont mean to sound cheeky but when u press volume down then power do u hold them down for bout 4 r 5 seconds? i only ask coz its strange that u cant get to hboot and ur s-off
Sent from my HTC Desire
I said Im beginner and noob, but not idiot Sure, when I try to press anything, always is the same..this guy got same problem...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1256720
I want to try this,but I dont understand :
turn it off, plug it in via usb, hold back and power
if you know where your fastboot.exe is then cd into the path in cmd.
if you don't then unzip my attachment and put it in your c:\ and type these commands
Code:
cd\
fastboot devices
if it gives back a serial then it is not bricked and you can flash a RUU
ok download the file and unzip it, click my computer and drop the file into C: then follow the other instructions
Sent from my HTC Desire
Exactly this I understand :
"ok download the file and unzip it, click my computer and drop the file into C: then follow the other instructions"
But I dont understand to this: if you don't then unzip my attachment and put it in your c:\ and type these commands
Code:
cd\
fastboot devices
if it gives back a serial then it is not bricked and you can flash a RUU
What commands? where should I do it??
click my computer then C: drive find the fastboot file u put there then open it, then in a empty space in the file hold shift then right click and u should see "open command window here" click that to open cmd window then type in those commands that bortak said

Yup. Okay so you're good. Did you get the phone on contract? e.g. You pay monthly to Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange etc.? Or did you buy it from a shop and it's unbranded?

[Q] Can't gain S-OFF and ADB doesn't detect device

I'm trying to recover the Bravo to stock after getting almost bricked. I downgraded the HBOOT to 0.93.00001 using AlphaRev method and used the RUU executable (at this point it's unclear to me whether I used the right one or not)... but the downside was I lost S-OFF in the process.
So I tried using the Revolutionary method to gain S-OFF, and got stuck on the "waiting for device" screen. It turned out that the ADB doesn't find the device, even after reinstalling the drivers.
Fastboot DOES show the device (via "Fastboot devices" command), but it displays the "12 signature verify fail" when trying to flash a new HBOOT.
Right now, the phone screen is stuck at this:

RUU
It won't let me choose HBOOT/FASTBOOT (apparently it boots in Fastboot mode automatically), or enter recovery.
¿Is there any way to gain S-OFF to install the HBOOT, recovery and ROM?
ADB doesnt work in Hboot AFAIK. And not much help to u.
But thought it would save u playing with drivers.
May be USB bricked? Have a look bortak's guide, it's covered there. As you're still s-on, you can't flash a hboot from fastboot now.
Edit: I see that you're stuck in RUU mode now; if you can't boot the system now you can still use the 2.3.3 RUU (from htcdev). After that you should be able to run revolutionary.

[Q] Problem on HBOOT screen

Hey guys, I have an HTC Wildfire S, and from what I can tell it is CDMA (does not have a SIM card), and apparently it goes by other names as well....marvelc, A510c, PG762. I managed to unlock it, root it, and s-off it, thanks to all the fantastic help here on XDA.
I am ultimately trying to get it so that I can try out different ROM's and such, so I wanted to install ClockworkMod Recovery on it as well. This is where the problem lays.
In the process of "playing" with the phone, I believe I screwed it up somehow....Apparently, in order to install ClockWorkMod Recovery, one of the steps is to press Vol-Down and Power at the same time, it WILL give the screen that says:
***UNLOCKED***
MARVELC PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
HBOOT-1.10.0001
MICROP-0354
RADIO-0.94.00.1226
Apr 17 2012, 18:21:30 etc.
But underneath, where it says:
FASTBOOT
RECOVERY
FACTORY RESET
SIMLOCK
IMAGE CRC
When I plug-in tha usb cable to pc and it SHOULD say "HBOOT USB PLUG".... it does not.
I *should* be able to Vol-Down to RECOVERY and install ClockWorkMod Recovery that way, no? The problem is, I ***CANNOT*** Vol-Down, Vol-Up, Power, or anything...the phone takes over at this point, and the next thing I see is:
***UNLOCKED***
MARVELC PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
HBOOT-1.10.0001
MICROP-0354
RADIO-0.94.00.1226

HBOOT
Parsing... [PG76DIAG.nbh.]
[1] MFG DIAG
Update is in progress...
Jumping to DIAG...
The phone flashes a few times and then "Get SW Version"...etc....
In order to use the phone again at all, I need to pull battery out and re-insert, and start normally.
I need to say, OTHER THAN THIS, the phone *does* seem to work normally....
What can I do to fix this? Is it a matter of resetting the hboot? Is this possible? Please help, I have no idea what to do....
Also, if someone can PLEASE give me a detailed step-by-step instruction on how to install ClockWorkMod Recovery, as well as CyanogenMod, I would be eternally grateful. Thank you in advance.
I have also made a video of me attempting to boot the phone and what I just described....but being as I am a noob here, they won't let me post it....msg me and I can PM you the link
PS. I should tell you guys I have tried this with fastboot on as well as off...same results.
Also, I found similar HBOOT problems in the threads, but they were not HTC-Wildfire-S, CDMA-marvelc-A510c-PG762 specific.
Time to feel silly you have left the pg76diag.nbh after you s-offed pal. The bootloader will Always look for this file and others and if it finds them and they are untampered with, and have the correct cid (s*on) then it will execute them. If you are s-off it will always execute no matter what the cid/tampered state. Delete this file and any other pj76 files from your sd card then boot to hboot. The device will look for these pj76 type files and if it finds none it will give you control of the volume buttons and activate the USB plug if it is attached

[Q] How to rescue stuck HTC Desire

I have an old HTC Desire, which I am trying to resurrect.
Attempting to boot it normally shows the HTC logo for a while, followed by 7 beeps, a reboot, and repeat.
Vol down + power gives

with the usual HBOOT menu - FASTBOOT, RECOVERY, CLEAR STORAGE, SIMLOCK.
Trying recovery does similar to boot, i.e.shows the HTC logo for a while, followed by 7 beeps, a reboot, and repeat.
As I understand it, I should first S-OFF it. However, all the methods I have tried do not recognise the device. If I put it into fastboot mode, and type "fastboot devices" in my PC, it is recognised. I can attempt to flash a new recovery, but I get an error "remote: signature verify fail".
I have tried revolution, and the CD method - neither recognise the device.
I tried to make a gold card, but I am stuck on the first bit, because I cannot connect to the phone with adb, only fastboot.
Revolutionary only works with phone booted, u cant flash recovery unless ur s-off or unlocked bootloader but the fact that it vibrates 7 times means hardware problem. Try flashing the 2.3gb upgrade from htcdev or find it in bortaks guide (my sig) and hope it flashes but i doubt ul be able to do anything unless u get a new motherboard.
I had the same problem. i am now on oxygen zm2 rom.
