CM10 1% battery mod question - Galaxy S III Themes and Apps

I'm not sure if anyone has looked into this, but I would like to make a 1% battery mod for the S3 on CM10, I have looked at porting guides for other devices, but they say use a device that is the same with the same sort of rom build, I was looking at a Galaxy Nexus AOKP Build realising that it would be wrong as aokp is much more heavily customized than cm10, If anyone could give me some direction as to which services.jar would be suitable for the port I would be grateful

Yeah. I am looking for the same thing. I got the images to work, but the 1% increment isn't there.

[Q] Any good Title bar/battery mods for MikG?

I have looked and looked for some decent battery mods and title bar mods for MikG. I have not had too much luck finding anything I like for sense 2.1. What I was wondering is if it might be possible to flash battery mods made for sense 2.0? I was going to nandroid and start flashing, but figured I'd see if anyone had some insight first.

[Q] settings, ROM's and firmware... help and opinions please

Hi,
I just got a nexus yesterday and have a couple questions. I had CM9 on my Galaxy S before i had this so I thought i was familiar with ICS. But I am finding that a lot of the "settings" I loved on CM9 are not available on my new nexus. Such as unlock screen options, notification toggles, ability to remove the persistent search bar, display battery percentage, wifi hotspot, change # of screeens. Is it possible to get those settings back without installing a new ROM or getting individual apps for each item?
And if I need to install a ROM which ones are good (there seems to be a ton of them)? I would be putting this on my wifes phone also, so I would need a ROM that has practically zero bugs. What about the JellyBean ROMs, how are they? Should i wait and see how the official JellyBean firmware looks?
I know i can read a hundred threads about the ROMs, and I will, but my brain is swimming with info right now and I'm hoping you guys -n- gals can help to get me on the right path. Please give me your opinions if you have a minute.
thanks in advance,
For Jelly Bean it's too early. A lot of the tweaks you're used to from CM9 are not yet available in the ROMs I think, at least not the one I'm using right now (bigxie)... If you need those you'll have to wait for CM10 or for the next AOKP, or find the mods you want and flash them manually, but the risk of something going wrong is higher naturally.
If you don't mind staying with ICS for the moment, I can recommend the AOKP Milestone releases. All the tweaks you've mentioned are in there plus the milestones are super-stable! Prior to JB I was running AOKP M5 and it's great!
I'd also recommend to install Franco's kernel (and buy his app on the market to tweak it even more ) as I find that power consumption is a lot better with his kernel. Of course as usual if you need stability, use the stable releases instead of the nightlies.
Hope this helps
I agree with Gunthy, if you want the bells and whistles, go with AOKP and stick with ICS for a bit. JB has some nice new little tweaks, but you its nothing you cant live without. Besides franco's kernel, I really like imoseyon's leankernel.. i find i get the best battery life with it. I don't think its on XDA so you might have to google it and find it on another forum

Paranoid Android 1% battery mod?

Does anyone know if there are any 1% Battery Mods that will work on Paranoid android 1.8a rom? I tried a few of them floating around, but i wasnt able to get any to work. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

AOSP and S3

So, I've been lurking around the forums for awhile and trying to find a rom that is simply pure android 110%. Surely, I have found CM10's, AOKP's, KANG, etc etc, however I couldn't seem to find any rom that was just pure ANDROID! No extra mods, themes, etc... Like on a Stock Gnex, so my question being, is there one I am over looking ? I tried googling it to no avail.
Thanks (=
EDIT: Such an idiot, I posted in General instead of Q&A. Could someone move this to Q&A please? x.x
Well my cyanogenmod 10.1 4.2.2 is pretty close. There are the added tweaks but I like them. If you want a true nexus then you better also pull your ext SD card out. That's the only thing keeping me away.

Ya I have to agree that 10.1 is pretty darn close

Paranoid Android is also really close, as is AOKP. They all have tweaks, its just a matter of which set of tweaks you like the most. As mentioned, the only way to get pure aosp is to get a nexus.

is there something in particular you're looking for in a nexus rom or something you're seeing that you dont want? because otherwise, the aosp-based roms that have been named here will generally look exactly like a stock nexus device. i know Faryaab has assembled a SuperNexus rom. i used to run the 4.1 version on my S2 last year, but the S3 one is only for the i9300 variant. dont go trying to flash that. you'll be all set with CM10, AOKP, or any other roms in the original android dev section. cheers
Absolute stock 100% AOSP will be missing quite a few features. Like you, I tried to find the same for a while and realized how watered down the OS is.
That being said, the only pure AOSP is currently for the international variant and won't work on this device. Your only option is to compile it from source yourself, which can be very difficult if you are not a developer.

[Q] Stable 4.4 rom closest to stock

Hey guys!
I am now trying to flash kitkat on my nexus... As far as I've seen in the topics, the only bug that isn't really fixed are the graphical issues in the rotation which I don't really mind so I think it's time to try some roms.
Until now I've always used stock roms, they always were simple and stable and after trying cyanogenmod in my dad's phone (not nexus) I found some modifications like the battery showing the percentage or the settings having theme options and other things that the average person wouldn't use...
I would like 4.4 stock like in the Nexus 5, not something with personal modifications, is there a stable rom with that?

Graphical glitches are completely fixed on almost every ROM available for maguro (Galaxy Nexus). As far as stock experience is concerned here, I would recommend you to go for any CM11 build available in development section. PlayfulGod's build is recommended by me.

I have been using Fork My Life's 4.4 rom with no issues at all for about a week. If you have the toro nexus I would suggest that rom. They have fixed the graphical issues and no reboots. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2427087
I have the GSM/Maguro GN
Well, I'll try again CM11, I did it two weeks before and had to return to stock because of the reboots and battery drain, let's see for now xd
