Thank you so much, it worked at first i thought it would brick the phone because of the model difference (GT-S5660 - GT-S5660M) but it worked !

Now that you've got the recovery working, you can try any other touch based recovery like PhilZ Recovery or PX Recovery and don't use stock ROM as custom ROMs are faster than stock ROM, now that you've got a custom recovery, it wouldn't be so difficult for you. :highfive: :fingers-crossed:
But first confirm that the recovery or ROM you are going to flash will work with Canadian Gio (GT-5660M) or not or you will have to use ODIN again.
If You Want to Keep TWRP, you can flash the updated version (Released Yesterday) from your current recovery from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2728689
as the version you currently have is one year old.

Dont Flash This as this is not stable yet. i have tested it and i was stuck in recovery until i flashed a new one Use PhilZ Recovery Which is also touch based and one word you will say after using this is AWESOME!!! BTW flashing an .img through terminal or flashing .zip through recovery is easier than flashing a .tar via ODIN

@belyava no offence but I think you are wrong here (maybe I am ) @kaiserlourdes I Think You Should Try It as it will do NO HARM and you can always revert back to your current recovery by odin or terminal method

yes, you are right, it does exist! But! it is able only to backup/restore stock roms. It could flash ext-based roms, but not rfs-roms, only odin can

You can install custom recovery through your stock rom, just rename your recovery to update.zip and place it in root of internal storage or external.now go to updater app and select update.

I just opened my twrp recovery to wipe everything off after I did so I rebooted to system twrp asked me wether to instal supersu or not I permitted it . When I tried to reboot to system all I does is shows Samsung Galaxy tab s powered by android and does not go any further . I tried clearing the cache but nothing works
device smt805
Rooted
I can boot into recovery if needed .just need proper guidance
I have stock rom
Lollipop 5.0.2
Sounds like you wiped your system as well. If so, you need to return to stock with the Kies3 software from Samsung or download and flash a rom for your device.

i tried bro but after rebooting my device when i boot into recovery it again changes into oxygen recovery
try to force decryption and then re-flash it again. It's easiest if you use the OnePlus toolkit available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/development/toolkit-oneplus-3-toolkit-unlock-t3398799
I was having the same issue after going back to official OOS and wanting to switch over to my current rom which gave me issues since I didn't have modified TWRP.

Yes it will. The toolkit will allow you to perform a full backup that you can restore later.
You can try flashing twrp from the toolkit, to see if it works. In my experience it didn't work until I forced decryption.
Try:
1. Fastboot erase recovery
2. Fastboot flash recovery "TWRP"
