[Q] 15GB Of SD Card Used? - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

I have a 16GB SD card in my phone and after using titanium backup to back my stuff up before an update I now appear to have only 400mb left on my SD card.
I now have no root access so titanium wont open, how can I delete my backup from my SD card? I dont feel the need to root my phone again, I gain nothing I never ended up flashing any roms and it was a chore to install the update my carrier released.
Any help guys?
Thanks!

You should be able to just delete the TitaniumBackup folder from your SD card.

[Q] Where are programs stored when moved to SD?

I have moved may apps to SD and can not find them. Were do they go too? Also as a 2nd question, when I clear data and flash a new rom do these apps stay on the SD card just taking up wasted space?
Thanks for any info you guys can give me.

I believe when clearing data, by selecting wipe sd partition in RA recovery, you'd be wiping whatever apps you have on your SD. But I would also like to know how to see the apps I've installed to SD via DT A2SD. Hope that helps somewhat.
They're in .android_secure, but you won't see them while the card is mounted in android (i.e., through Astro). Put the card in disk drive mode (or pull it an use a card reader if you prefer) on your computer and you'll see a bunch of .asec files. They're basically encrypted containers, so you can't just pop an SD card with a bunch of paid apps into another phone and move them back to their internal storage.
I do believe it gets wiped by both clockwork and amon when you wipe data. They're encrypted with a key somewhere in your data partition, so they're useless once you lose that.

Is there a way to..

Copy my apps from one SD card to another? I just bought a 16gb class 4 micro sd for my Desire to replace the stock 4gb class 2. I copied everything from the 4gb to the 16gb via my computer.
Now it seems that none of the apps are showing up as usable, they are still on the SD card under applications but I can't launch any of them.
Am I missing something, is there a way to do it without copying them to my phone in stages and then re-copying them to my new SD card?
Apologies if this has been answered in another thread, it's just whenever I search I get threads about A2SD which don't answer my question at all.
Copy .android_secure folder over.

no expert but it might depend if you are using A2SD .....
easiest way would be to do a titanium backup of the apps then copy the backups from one SD to another. Then just restore again ....

I'll give it a shot after dinner, I tried copying the secure folder, but to no avail. Titanium backup seems like my only option.
Nand backup with your other SD card and copy backup to new card, then restore with new card

It turns out I didn't actually copy the .android_secure to the root of the memory card. Derp. Thanks guys. It's sorted now.

[Q] Question about moving files from SD Card

After I install a ROM or MOD from an SD card. Can I move them some place else or is there data the phone reaches back to the card for? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Yes. you can either delete them or keep them on you computer

Sd card q

I got the 200gb sd card with my 10 purchase. Put it in and started. Unbeknownst t9 me apparently you need to partition a 2nd partition to move apps to sd. I've tried link2sd abd app2sd and neither lets me move apps, saying i need an ext2 partition. I have 31 of 32gb internal memory in use now.
My dumb question is - short of copying everything to my computer, partitioning and formatting then copying back to sd is there any other option to expand memory without losing data?
Sorry mods, meant to put in questions forum.

only way would be to hook to pc and save the files. sorry
there is xposed modules that will let you copy apps to sd normally if your rooted, other than that you would have to go adopted storage to move them.

How do I move apps from Internal storage to SD card

Trying to root my phone but got locked out for a few days, can anyone confirm that you can move apps to SD card after rooting, tried another non-root way that turned your sd-card to internal storage but couldnt see how much storage was being used by what app so if its anything like that Im prolly gonna hold off on rooting.
