Over the last week I've been seeing this "username/password changed" message pop up on the phone. I've been on a couple different roms and I still see it. Anyone know what that's all about?

I have an issue where I lose the ability to download my MMS, which are usually just photo messages. I have tried the help from ATT's site where you configure the settings for it to no avail. I was able to get it back by re-flashing and now it had died again.
The symptom, specifically, is that the message will simply never download. I get it, hit download, it goes back to the list and never downloads. If I open the message again the download button is greyed out. I have gotten an "unable to download..." something message but I can't remember the specific text and don't want to mislead anyone. When I see that specific text again I will update the thread so anyone searching for the error message (which I've done) will be able to find the solution that will hopefully arise in this thread.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? I am using the latest Schaps (1 wk old) but it happened with a previous Schaps as well. I honestly can't remember if I've changed something that would have affected it but it's not unlikely as I've been tweaking my phone for the past two weeks since reflashing, but only user settings and not really connection stuff.
And I found a fix by following this thread.
Although the symptoms were not the same it worked like a charm.

If something happens to the post, I will quote VOL22002:
"By the way for anyone else who is still having issues with MMS all you have to do is install the (Arcsoft_MMS_4281.)cab and rerun the Connection setup on your pda that is localed in start/setting/connections and your all set."
Every few days I get the above error, which requires a full synchronisation, no problem except that I lose all of my favourite contacts, I used to get the same message with my tytn2, what am I doing wrong? is there something I can change or stop doing to precent this?
I have the exact same problem, really starting to get on my nerves...........
Anyone else?
I had the same message a couple off days ago (google sync), lost my favourite contacts. But there are only a few so don't really see the problem.
Lately, I've been having a strange problem with text messaging. Sometimes, when I am texting back and forth, one of the text message would give me an error that it can't be sent. Then the error keeps getting popped up. But the recipient actually receives that mesaage like 7-8 times. This has happened to me write a few times now. Please help me! This probably isnt a ROM related issue. But,I am using Myns TwoPointTwo.
Happens quite a few times with me. It hasn't happened in awhile. Same thing happens to me also. It's difficult to know if it went through or not. Tell people you text about this and if they see the same text coming through to not think anything of it. It might go away after awhile.
I don't know if it's fixable or what. Try update your profile and prl and see if it helps. Try stock rooted also. It used to happen on my epic kinda often a few months ago. Now that the gf has it, I switch back and forth between the shift and evo. I don't remember seeing that lately.
Older versions of google voice was really bad at that too. Now it's acting better. Shift is running stock rooted and evo is running what came with autoroot package, which is sprint lovers I believe.
Maybe the december evo update and the new shift have those bugs worked out. I will have to ask the gf if it's happening to her. I haven't seen duplicate messages lately from her so maybe it has been fixed in my area.
Hello everyone,
For some reason, today, my epic 4g touch started randomly displaying UDP=0/2 (or a different assortment of numbers.
It doesn't seem to cause any problem, beyond the fact it is really annoying that the message keep constantly popping up. Does anyone know what this is, what it means, and how to fix it?
Thanks
Anyone? Surely someone knows what this means.
I got some random texts like that, of just random letters and numbers. Is it a pop up window or a text message?
Its a pop up window. Here is a picture. It appears to be counting the number of time UPD=0/2 has popped up. Hence the 117 UPD=0/2 (or whatever it is in the picture...well over 130 now).
Thanks, I appreciate any help.
Could be an app you've installed.
ooops!10char
It says UPD not UDP.
Factory reset my only option?
Not really. I'd look through my installed applications and see if any seem like they might be causing the toasts. Start with running applications.

Same thing just started happening to me tonight.
I turned my tab off last night, charged it, turned it on about 30 minutes ago, and started getting that message. Happens every 4.5 seconds. I cant get anything done. I cant get to messages via the App Manager to stop it, either. Lookout Premium says my tab is good to go. I've never used Messaging on this tab before so I have no idea what the deal is all of a sudden.
Device is a two month old unrooted SM-P607T running stock 4.4.2.
Mine has done 2 different times. The first time I rebooted and then went into app manager and cleared the cache and force closed it. The second time which was just the other day, I did the reverse of it. I went through the settings via the pull down and getting to it that way. Yes, my tablet is rooted so it happens on unrooted and rooted tablets. If you can't get into settings to clear the cache and force stop it, then I don't know how else to help but you can try it the ways I did it.
Figured it out, for me at least.
I opened messages and found an unread text from some random email address. It took me a few tries to click the message to be able to read it, what with Messaging stopping every 4.5 seconds exactly, but once the message was read, the error stopped happening.
Now that I can get into the App Manager, when I click on Messages, my only option is to stop it. No cache to be cleared, apparently.

Come to think of it, the last time mine did it, I had a text from some email address I didn't know. Looked like a spam text message. Probably some scam going around. I marked it as a spam message and deleted it. So beware of texts coming from email addresses instead of actual numbers.
