How do i know wich version is my HOX? like if it is ht21, ht 22 and so on?
Thankx in advance
That's the serial number and it'll be on the box or in Settings>About phone>Hardware information
So if the serial is like: s/n sh25pw... means that is ht25??
No, it's SH25...there are 2 manufacturing plants for the One X, one in Taiwan and one in China

Ask that in the AT&T oneX forum, this is the international tegra3 forum...
But out of your software number i think its the tegra3 version and you can unlock it...(i am sure you can do that with the s4 version too,but ask it in the other forum ug you think you dont have the quad-core version

So I noticed that a lot of ROM threads here specifically list Endeavor devices. Does that mean if I have a S720e Evita I'm screwed and can't unlock and install custom ROMs?
No, it means that you've got a One XL (or what AT&T are calling their 'One X'), so you'll need to get your ROMs, rooting instructions and the like from those subforums: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1538
(The Endeavor is the Tegra 3 ("international") One X, the Evita is the S4 model, ROMs/recoveries/etc from one won't work on the other).
Actually, mine is the tegra 3 international version. It says s720e on the back though.
Bought it in sweden and even in the HW infi screen it says its the quadcore ver.

Pass then, because 'evita' was the codename for the snapdragon S4 model.

As I somewhere saw, s720e - evita, s720t - endeavor. Looks like that was a wrong info.

I need to check that. But so far I'm convinced it's the Int ver. I mean, it has to be right? Unless I stumbled on some weird prototype haha.

You've got an Endeavor (i.e. Tegra 3 One X), as your packaging would suggest. I would be extremely surprised if the OP's doesn't say the same. I'm not sure where the idea that it was an Evita came from, but the Evita is a different phone.

There has been a list posted a few times, but I know 'coz it's the same as mine.
Checking your device CID number :
Get the CID GETTER app from Play Store. Run it. The CID number will be displayed on top in Red color.
Check this list.
This has been posted before in this forum.. I posted it cos it would be help for you and also any future questions on the same topic would be avoided by anyone..
Have a great weekend!

man, you are the 1000000th person who asks for JB ETAs... we don't know when HTC will release the JB OTA! that's why you should ask them and not full this section of such questions
Dostum Merhaba,
Biraz okusaydın keşke One X General kısmını. Çok fazla sayıda aynı konudan açıldı, delirmiş durumda herkes.
the thread below is for JB release and if you can read the first little pages, it is clear that no one knows about the release time and it is based on CIDs.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1967859
you IP address or physical location is not important.
Turkish CID M27 is always updating with europe but since yours is HK, I can not say anything for sure (like I said for europe )
just wait.

Just picked this up today. Nice handset. Is it possible to root this device and install a custom ROM. Only seen the forum for the Telstra Australian version.
Im running the stock firmware, thats is:
Android 4.0.4
Software number 2.34.61.2
You have the dual-core one xl ....then you are in the wrong forum this is the quad-core international HTC one x forum
Check the specifics and be really carefull flashing stuff from here, a brick could be just around the corner !
That's why i'm posting ... it's not clear whether the other forum is exclusively for AT&T, Rogers and Telstra. Not touching anything till I find a ROM or process that supports it.
