There has been a list posted a few times, but I know 'coz it's the same as mine.
Checking your device CID number :
Get the CID GETTER app from Play Store. Run it. The CID number will be displayed on top in Red color.
Check this list.
This has been posted before in this forum.. I posted it cos it would be help for you and also any future questions on the same topic would be avoided by anyone..
Have a great weekend!

If you have trouble viewing the CID list picture in the previous post of mine,, please check this link to the image.. (hope this works)

Hi all,
Just wondering if there were any users that could post the MyVodafone app apk. For some reason, it says that it is incompatible with my device in the Play Store. I have found the Australian version online but can't find the UK one.
Many thanks
I used apk backup to get the app, sent it to my nexus, but only the wifi map worked, so uninstalled it.

As the n7 is not a phone and does not have 3g, My Vodafone (an app that needs 3g to be running the first time you use it, so that it can get your SIM details and account information) is logically incompatible. Even if you sideload the apk it most likely will not give you any really useful information.

I am an idiot! Meant to post this in the HTC One X forum (as it was my one x that would not let me download it)! My apologies.
Thank you very much WinDroidGuy for the apk, really useful
I installed it on my Nexus 7 solely for the wi-fi hotspot map so that I can use the free BT Openzone minutes from my mobile provider on my tablet. I don't have a smartphone. It works fine, thank you WinDroidGuy

i want to change to HTC__038 that is asian indian firmware for htc one x.please help in this regarding the post.
Can't be done as you need S-OFF (which we don't have)
U cant. For that u need to have an s-off phone
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
You can't unless you have S-off. And s-off is impossible unless you live in China. So you cannot change CID, must wait for your carrier to release JB and no one here knows how long that'll take.

I wanted to run benchmarks on my One V and downloaded the Quadrant app, according to the app, under "Fingerprint" it says Europe? But I live in Asia. This is a second hand unit. Are there any other methods to determine where my phone came from?

So I'm guessing its Asia? I did some searches.
I need someone that speaks Chinese and has basic knowledge of Flashing roms, this is very important and might be a break-though for the HTC ONE X.
Please let me know by PM, thanks.
P.S. This might seem irrelevant, but it really is, and if there is success, what I am doing will donate greatly to the HTC ONE X society.

This doesn't hold information about S-OFF, but a glitch or something that supposedly works.. I know for a fact that the Chinese can S-OFF, trying to find out how.

Hey Mr Hofs, if you remember, I had an issue with a messed up HTC ONE X a while ago, that HTC ONE X was S-OFFed for sure. I found out that they use a "GoldCard" and "HOX Files" so S-OFF devices, but this method is what a guy that does S-OFF gave me, he doesn't really cooperate with me, just gave me the link. The physical "GoldCard" is very expensive, costs almost like a new HOX, but I do wonder if this method should work.

This is for the Galaxy S4 or something, and it mentions HTC ONE S too.. dunno
---------
My question is (to the Chinese understanders) what are the exact instructions, I edit the TXT file that they mention, but do they say that I can change the Main-Version to whatever I want, and the CID to whatever I want??? or something else?
P.S., if you look on the last reply page on that Thread, you can see it is quite active, i see posts from "3 hours ago" saying "thanks" and what not. But you need to reply in order to download the file so it's not really an indication of this method working. :-\
Good luck, this stuff has been looked into time and time again. I don't give a flying hoot about s-off, flash via pc and plenty of custom roms to pick from.

Well we do appreciate your contribution, it's good to know you don't give a "flying hoot", thank you kindly.
Some of us are stuck because there is no S-OFF, I have two devices that are pretty much screwed until I can do the S-OFF.
The first step is already an epic fail,, downgrade the hboot to 0.95.....Uhm no way without s-off.....

@MosesTheTool
Firstly your very welcome.
Secondly can you elaborate how the two HOX's are screwed.

Google translate messes it up, i think he didn't say to downgrade to 0.95, i think it's the last step or something. It really needs a good translation from someone who knows Chinese.

Like I said, the two HOXs came with an Australian CID OPTUS001. And a Version-Main: 4.29, which does not exist in the OPTUS001 CID RUUs, which means I couldn't use RUU to get back to stock in order to update later to JB.
I went through it with Waseem on this forum and we found out that the phones were definately S-OFFed. God knows why the heck someone did this, but Chinese have an S-OFF technology.
I coule buy the Goldcard for S-OFF, but it costs like 400$... So I am trying to find a cheaper way in their forums.

Well i dare to say that you can better spend your time on useful things. They are trying to find a way to s-off for at least over 18 months now. No succes what so ever. Chances are very ....very small ! But if you do you are the man

Yeah and I am sure people that are much more talented than me in development are working on it. But the Chinese have a way of hiding stuff from the world, and they might've done something that works.
I had an idea to buy the Javacard and then "rent" it to anyone who needs S-OFF. But I am not sure people will be interested

I'm in Singapore. It has been unavailable here as well until today. What I did was I searched using the browser version of the Google Play Store and when I tapped install it prompted me to sign in with my Google account and the the Install button changed to Installed. All I had to do was just launch the Google Play Store app and voila the installation process begin. The game did ask me to sign in with my Google account on the first launch and that's it.
I used this method on Dead Trigger 2 as well when it was not available in the country yet. And I shared that link in another post for others to enjoy. Oh well.
