Does anyone have a stock google play edition originally bought from the google play store, if so does it suffer taking night pictures with a lot of blur in a completely dark room?

The M8 GPE comes with the Google Camera (which isn't that good in quality).
So you'll get more blurry, less sharp shots with it (It's a 4MP camera -.-).
You also can not download the HTC Camera it won't work anymore without rooting.
I recommend getting the developer edition and S-OFF that, then converting, has more uses.
Though i'm pretty sure the GPE version can also be converted to a Sense ROM (Don't quote me on that).

I know all the above im s off and on the dev edition but when i go gpe i have that problem, i want to know if it happens with a original one out the box bought from google, with the blurry night pics and flash not working well with the camera.
I wonder if @graffixnyc can help here? Not sure if he had a real GPe or not, though...

I do wonder if the mid and cid have to match the gpe in order for the camera to work properly.
That wouldn't have any bearing on how the camera works, unless you did an OTA update with the wrong CID which can lead to issues with WiFi, etc.
CustomerDouglas
Initial Question/Comment: Why did HTC think it was a good idea to disable flash while focusing? (In dark environments) Any way to enable this?

Well at least we know there is nothing that can be done if you switch to GPE best bet is a dev edition conversion and stay on sense.

Yeah, I have an original (Unmolested) stock GPE bought from google Play store.
Nope, no issue as you describe at the moment. In a dark situation it'll flash for focus, then it'll flash again for the shot.
The blur issue might also be from a deteriorating lens cover, there's a thread on the subject somewhere.
The issue you describe did exist for a short while after the 5.01 OTA, but disappeared after HTC pushed a Service Pack.
There have been a total of two "HTC Service Pack" updates after the 50.1 OTA (that I've noticed). Latest SP Version is 1.1.853606
Your guess is as good as mine as to whether it was the Service Pack that solved this, as HTC's documentation for these SP's is vague at best.

The US Developer Edition IS Sense, it's just the US version of the International Unbranded M8

Well then that would mean something is wrong with the conversion to GPE?
What we would need to put this to the test, is to get someone with a original gpe and the very first software 4.4.2 post a back up from twrp, thats the only way.

I wish I could help you more, but I have had a "feeling" that the converted model is a different animal to the stock GPE.
The issues I've had with my device seem different than with the converted devices.
The one thing that is obviously different between our devices, is that your device is S-Off.
I've read somewhere that some converted GPE's have had issues with lockscreen, and music playback (never an issue on my device).
There was a post that the fix was to S-On again. Seems illogically unrelated, but you can't argue with a result.
As someone up-thread eluded, this is a question for the likes of a heavyweight such as @graffixnyc, if you can get him interested.
Anyways, let me know if you need further info from my device.
Actually i am confused whats does this mean;

it's better to describe what you are about to do
I have a HTC 10 which stuck in a boot loop, with s-on and that's the problem stopping me from reflashing the firmware. No Recovery or Download mode as the phone just loops and there's no HBOOT or FASTBOOT option in the boot loader.
From reading the forums this seems to be a problem and HTC customer service is no help as the phone was bought on eBay through the UK and the phone came the UA and they want me to call UA customer service for a fix.
My question is, can I create a boot disk on a SD card and talk to the phone.
