A true comparison between Android and iOS

I came across this video today of this guy comparing android to iOS, of course he owns both products and knows the ins and outs for each and at the end of the day, he picks android because of many obvious reasons do you guys agree?? Disagree??

Damn. Now I REALLY hate my iPhone.

Who cares. Android and iOS both have their own strengths and weaknesses. Overall both are great phones. I like android for its customization but think that iPhones are the most stable and best stock battery life.

My E4GT had waaaaaaaaaay better battery life than my iPhone 4S. And it was more stable. I have apps crash on my iPhone all the time. I think I had maybe 2 force closes on my E4GT during the 6 months that I owned it.

I own imac and used to own iphone 3g and 3gs.People always say how macs and iphones are so stable-of course they are because ios and osx runs on 10 similar devices while android and windows run on 10,000 different devices and still manage to run in most cases just as good as osx and ios if not better.
Apple makes both hardware and software for it,if you ask me there should be ZERO issues with osx upgrades on any mac but there is tons of issues.Apple as not as great as people give them credit for.
As for ios it was revolutionary when it first came out but now its just too basic and is great for old people and children because its so simple to use,while android packs more features and looks better. Don't forget that you couldn't even change the background on iphones without Cydia until iphone4.I do think that iphone touch sensitivity is more accurate than android.

My old iphone had almost zero crashes,it was jailbroken.You can improve speed and battery of ios just like on android by removing system languages and apps.

I don't waste my time with sheep, they are some of the most ignorant people on the internet. A tech site just did a Siri vs S-Voice video/review and the S3 was NOT connected to wifi when the iPhone WAS, the whole review was staged. Sheep were gloating all over themselves

battery life, my friend's 4s got it and i dont. carrying a charger wherever i go... look stupid.

My battery isn't much different than it was on my 4s, but I have the gsm version so no LTE to drain it quicker.

I don't think battery chargers have the ability to make people look smart or stupid. Intelligence is not a factor of a battery charger.

You own a GNEX. Who cares about the iPhone. If people want to use it then good for them. Either way it won't change your life. Do you really need to be assured your phone is better?
If reviewers like the iPhone better will that make you go and buy one? People use what is better for them. I actually only tell the more common sense and tech savvy people they should get an Android device. Everyone else who asks for my opinion I tell them to get an iPhone because it will be better for them. I do not give them my opinion based on what is better for me. Except my wife of course.

Unfortunately, denying that something is infringing won't set a precedent (it will only have bearing for that particular device, patent, and situation/implementation), but affirming that it does will.

Yeah... precedent in the UK perhaps... not anywhere else. I don't believe you can use cases in other countries in patent cases in a different country (correct me if I am wrong).

Not sure. Prior art refers to foreign patents I believe, so I don't see why not.

So I was having a "civil" conversation with a resident Apple Fanboy at work about how Google Now beats Siri on a basic head to head test, which he proceded to repsond, "And? Its still no iPhone killer." Now letting you know how that debate is pointless, especially if you have actually argued with a Apple fnaboy. Its truly a waist of time. However my point or my soap box is, this how "iphone killer" thing is irrelevant.
Even with jelly bean and ICS out you still have folks who will say how the Nexus out shines the new iPhone in almost every aspect but then....bam..."but its no iPhone killer"
What is an "iPhone killer?" Because based on my experience the statement should be, "yeah the iPhone is nice pretty and built well, but its no, Android killer" Anyway just a random rant.

actually manged to make my friend make the jump from 4s to Galaxy nexus .. shes neverbeen happier (she recently upgraded to the S3 and truly misses her nexus, even though she has the phone still )

What I find funny is the trial date, March 2014, so what's the point in a trial to ban a part that most likely won't be on the market as a new device offering which would mean sales if any would be nearly non existence. Seriously they'd have to sue for the next two models just to make 2014 a relevant model or even year.

Depends if you get a preliminary injunction or not, which, as you can see from the trial date, would be pretty damaging.
Also, half of these lawsuits are just publicity stunts. By calling the Galaxy Nexus a "copycat product", millions of idiots who haven't even looked one up just read about it and automatically assume that it is.

Because Samsung CUT on potential Apple profit and PASTED it to their bank account..

I'm surprised Apple hasn't sued every mobile phone manufacturer out there. I mean how dare all of those other devices make phone calls and send text messages? That was Apple's invention first you know.

Samsung should show the percentage of returns and defects of the GNEX. Then Apple would need to pay Samsung money for the negative dollar amount it achieved.

The LTE version has been a nightmare of this device. Luckily the 3rd one I received works. I consider myself lucky!
The 4G radio's in the phone do not work correctly in a large number of devices. I can only imagine how many users of this phone who do not visit sites like this are dealing with a GNEX that the 4G radio's craps out on and needs reboting to bring it back or the ones who can't even hold a 4G signal.
Let's not even touch the screen quality....
