whats this?? are you just making threads??
post something that have sense

wrong,
it's actually kernel dependent,
but the best is 832max 624min for frequency

Sorry just don't see anything good coming from this but possible arguments.

What profile does everyone use on the stock cm7 kernel? And why?

I generally stay with on demand but sometimes use conservative. While I like conservative it seems to sometimes take too long to bump up the processor and will cause a bit of lag after wake up.

I use Interactive 245 - 1113 MHz. It is similar to on demand but is more responsive in increasing CPU speed. I get great battery life, too.
You can read more about governor details here

I've been using interactive and conservative. They've both offered good life. I'm using the streamline5 kernel now with conservative though.

Kernel that is only undervolted but not overclocked?

Can someone post a link to a kernel that runs at the stock 1.5ghz but is undervolted? I don't care about performance. Just want the best battery life. Thanks!!

Almost any kernal is better in battery than stock

you can easily limit the CPU to not go over 1.5 or even 1.0
when i really want to save battery i keep CPU at 800 Mhz or 1.0 Ghz
Any of the kernels in the development section can be either under bolted or over clocked. I'm using synergy the way it comes out of the box and its great. Standby battery drain is unbelievable.

why dont u UV ur 1.5ghz to 1.0ghz voltage? or near there?
That would be underclocking not under volting

in CM ROMs it's build in
in other ROMs you can use SetCPU or faux or the other one i forgot the name right now

true, but i find it more effective than UV
yes, we can keep it at 1.5 Ghz with say -0.010v or something like that
it's just a minor hassle to tweak
you can open a Terminal in your phone and launch the command
some apps like the faux can let you control the voltage as well

Which CPU Governor do you use?

Hello GN2 Users,
So I've recently been playing with my CPU settings and I've been messing with different governors.
My question to you all is which governor do you like to use and why?
I like On Demand because it seems to give me the same performance with better battery life. But this is purely observation. I haven't done any benchmarking to actually test it yet.
Please add your input!

i like lulzactive with zen, or powersave with noop

Thread will probably be moved but
I havent tried them all but I am a strong believer of ZEN and PEGASUSQ

Sorry about that. Where would the proper place for this be?
What do you use to toggle different governors? I use ROM Toolbox Pro, and it doesn't have the ZEN or many of the other Android governors that I've read about. Is there a way to add new governors?

Govs are part of your kernel. ..not your control app.
Different roms will contain those kernel governors, or you could find a compatible kernel to go with your current rom....g

Just post in Q&A sections.
Yes, not sure if your kernel support it. I use the same app, ROM toolbox pro but you can also give NO FRILLS CPU a try too
CPU Adjuster

overclock gpu

Any app for overclocking GPU?? not cpu .. i have yoon kernel.
Sent from my GT-I8150 using xda app-developers app
No and there will not be one as the GPU can´t be overclocked. Why don´t you get familar with Snapdragon rather than asking such questions?
And btw. to incrase SD Card performance simply buy a faster one.

Bioshock 2.0 faux settings

Anyone with knowledge of any of the settings on kernels and what they do our mean I would love some help so I can further understand what to tweak and what the limitations are. I bought faux clock, probably shouldn't have since I'm cluelessv to what I should change because I get reboots undervolting too much or over clocking. Mpdecision I have no clue about. Noop/row/zen ect ect no clue. Thanks anyone. I'm on bioshock 2.0 and want to try and max my battery life.

I've found that undervolting by more than 50mV doesn't agree with my phone. At -50mV I do notice that my phone runs cooler, haven't done enough tests to see the difference in battery life though.
Also trying to set up a performance setting or wondering if that would even help with the streaming of movies to my ps3 through dlna file sharing. Thought overclocking would help. No use vi just can't figure it out. Any ideas on that issue?

I can't think if any reason for using the performance governor. That causes your cpu to run at max frequency all the time and would be terrible for your battery. Would also cause your phone to get verrrry hot. For things that require good performance you're best off using on demand. Overclocking could help i guess but I've never had the need to overclock... Then again I've never done what you're trying to do. Can't even imagine the need to overclock a quad core phone clocked at 1.9GHz
