Winamp not filing correctly - HTC One X

I've been using winamp on my HTC sensation with no issues at all. I've just upgrade to the one x and suddenly winamp now doesn't file my music alphabetically.
When I'm choosing music I tend to select it by looking through the artist tab, I've noticed that if I add a new album via USB instead of placing it alphabetically in the list it just dumps it at the beginning.
Has anyone else had this issue, and is there a solution to it?
Cheers in advance
Andy

What music apps are you using?

I currently am using the stock desire music app. I have not come across anything as good as the iphone/ipod app yet.
Just wanted your views and recommendations on the music apps you guys use?

+1.
has built in eq, grabs album art automatically....
the best music player I've used.
worth the couple of bucks for the full version, but you can download a trial version for free.
folder based playlist (though u dont need to create and save; just play or shuffle all contents) + albumarts auto-download + prof equalizer with preamp + scrobbling + lyrics thanks to a separate plugin, + lock screen widget + user friendliness + aesthetic + etc + etc .. this is the only app I hv paid for, it is worth

I'm using MIUI music player. PowerAMP isn't free and I dislike the UI, it's too overloaded.
Only tested it like 15 mins though.

last.fm
hmm im a last.fm addic! for all of you who are last.fm friends i suggest the last.fm app unfortunately they disabled the live stream function for all versions > 1.5.6 so the new version sucks big-time if you are having trouble finding the 1.5.6 version and you want to try it - just let me know and ill send it to you!

Winamp ftw. we all used it in our younger years, and im lovin' it!
And also, I think it's a good player!
I use "MortPlayer Music". Simple but efficient.
Mixzing

I use two different players, for different purposes.
I use PowerAMP for music, that works really well. I love the auto-album art feature, and that it can play from selected folders.
I use Winamp for Audio books, witch I listen to allot.
The reason I use two different players, is so that I donĀ“t have to interrupt where I came to, in the audio book, if I want to play a piece of music
Oh, btw Winamp works great to, maybe a little boring interface, but it works like a charm
I use astro player nova which is very customizable and also remembers where you are in each track/playlist which makes it great for long files.

I've been using cubeplayer (or 3 or whatever it's called) for a little while now, but in text mode rather than in that cube format, and have been getting rather dissatisfied with it. It's not bad, but now I'm loading more music it's getting a bit too simplistic.
Think I'll look at PowerAmp, lots of people on this thread seem to like it.
I use Poweramp for the equalizer, pays off when you use a 2.1 PC speaker or airwalk headphones ... however when transmitting tunes via Bluetooth to my brothers car I use the stock version, seems to work better

Music App
I've just started using Zimly after trying Cubed, Mixzing, Honeycomb and others and I'm impressed. Particularly like the lockscreen controls and the layout where you can swipe to change tracks and views. Seem to be actively developing the app as it's been updated a couple of times since I've installed it.
I use the stock one.....
I see a lot of people, use PowerAMP. I've been using doubleTwist because of it's fancy AirSync, where you can sync your music wirelessly. Can someone tell me if PowerAMP does this or not?
Using SubSonic to stream all of my 100Gb music from my computer directly to my phone!
It has transcoding options so if i want to play big music files (eg wav/flac) it transcodes it to whatever you want (eg 128kbps mp3).
You can even set some sort of buffer where it actually downloads music onto your phone for offline listening.

Music PlayerPro
I use Music PlayerPro, I like the GUI.
Trouble is it doesn't separate individual artist albums if searching via genre so a hassle if you have a lot of music.
I found, of the music apps I trialed, only Mixzing works as I'd like i.e. Genre-Artist-Album. Shame its GUI is ugly though.

[Q] Mp3 Cover

Hi ..
Just changed from HTC Incredible S to One X. 1 of the first thing that I notice was my mp3 covers (album art).
Using my Incredible S, the phone will display each individual mp3's cover correctly.
After using One X, I realize the cover no longer display according to each mp3's individual cover but instead using the general cover.
I changed some information on the mp3 and found that One X identifies the mp3 covers through the "album" field's information in the mp3 file.
A little troublesome for me to update the album field for each mp3 just so that One X can display the correct covers.
Anyone had this trouble and found a way to resolve this? All I want is for the phone to display the correct cover tagged to each mp3.
Many thanks ..
Have you tried updating the art work on the one X itself (menu, update artwork), you can always revert back to the original if you want. I did this as some of my tags were low res and looked terrible but my tags all displayed properly to start with. If it makes a difference I always tag artwork to my tracks individually on pc using media monkey before adding them to my phone.

[Q] HTC Music app - songs not in correct order

Hi everyone,
Bought HTC One X last week, so I'm pretty new with this device, but it's not my first HTC Android device
When I drag & drop my music to my phone, the HTC Music app doesn't display my songs in the correct order. On iTunes everything is correct and it does display the songs in correct order (I know that iTunes is very sensitive with those ID-tags).
The weird thing is, those songs were displayed correctly on my previous phone (Desire HD with Sense 3.0).
So does someone know how the new HTC Music app orders the music list?
Thanks in advance

[Q] 7Digital/HTC Music & things

I'm living in the middle east right now so my music download options are limited.... I've recently discovered that 7Digital will actually accept my payments, which is great.... But it stores the files deep in my SD card folder system & the HTC music app doesn't pick them up... Any recommendations on how to direct the music app to the MP3s without having to move the files and create new folders every time I download new music...
That is probably your only bet with the stock HTC music app.

Thanks, bit of a sad oversight that they provide one app to purchase music and put it on your phone, and one app to play music off your phone, but the two won't work together...
Try using another music player...?

M9 lockscreen music controls

Hi everyone,
When music is playing I don't any music controls on the lockscreen, unlike in my m7.
I searched online and in the settings and didn't find anything specific.
Anyone have any idea?
Thanks in advance.

Hello there, try using a music player like a jet audio player (plus) or poweramp and enable it within that apps settings. I find that works. hope it fixes your issue.
Thank you, but I was wondering about HTC's music player.
Did they remove it on sense 7?

Never was able to get lock screen controls on stock sense 7 with that music player, always had to download a separate music player app for that. I also rooted and installed a custom rom to enable volume music controls which allow you to change the track when the screen is off. (leedroid rom)
