Awesome work, thanks so much. Now we have a thread to discuss CM10 rather than hijacking the CM9 thread
Lookin good so far! I love seeing my Xoom refusing to die.
Thanks Team Rogue. Been running the experimentals for a while
Woo hoo!
round of applause with much love
:highfive:
Trebuchet kept stopping after I installed the 9/12 nightly. It's been fine so far on the 9/13 build.
If I use the gapps package above, my system partition maxes out at 252/252mb.
I know this has been an ongoing issue
Tried the EOS gapps package and now I've got room for adaware
For those having problems with system partition maxing out. Use this LatinIME.apk rather than the one that comes in CM10 stock. It is just English UK language and frees up 18mb or so. Of course this'll only work if you use english but here you go anyway.
CM10-Wingray-Nightly build: cm-10-20120912 - Screen orientation not changing
Hi.
I love the look of the CM JB builds. I loaded the 0912 nightly and noticed the automatic screen orientation wasn't working for me. I set the auto-rotate setting and it never would take.
I then tried to set Mantano Reader to have a portrait setting and it never took - it was only in landscape. Around that time I started getting "Trebuchet stopped" errors left and right to the point I just restored an older EOS build.
Thanks for the great work and I look forward to trying the latest build.

Use 0913 build. Do NOT use any prior builds, as they don't have the sensor libs.

Thanks big time! I'll give it a shot.
BTW - should I do a full wipe and use Titanium Backup to restore apps or is it sufficient to just wipe the cache and flash. I know this has probably already been asked before, but...
Thanks again!

0913 works great, no issue, thanks.
Can I flash this over the cm9 rom? Or will I have to full wipe?

You should be able to just flash over "unofficial" build without issue, I have gone back and forth a few times without any issues. If you do encounter any problems give her a full wipe.
I see two downloads. One dated today and one yesterday. Which one should I use?
Thanks!
Getting nothing but boot loops.

Yes, I see we are both correct! Times are different as well as dates within file name.
The 20120508 file is the earlier timed one and the 20120509 one is timed later.
So I wonder which one to use. BTW which one did you flash that caused the boot loop?
I haven't flash any yet.
Did you guys see the second post? Doesn't look like the first usable build will be ready for another few hours.
I've asked this before (for other devices) and will ask it again is there any actual official list of changes / features that cm9 brings to the table over stock android (yes I know there are lots) every time I ask I just get pointed at the git revision changelog which really is not very usefull as a nice bullet point list of stuff
Been waiting for this for a long time, great work team rogue!
No love for the everest version?
With the last nightly, I am in bootloop
I wipe all and another bootloop ! What is the problem ? My Wingray works like a charm with the cm9 rogue build !

The 20120509 wingray, in first I flash it on the unofficial CM9... Bootloop, and after I wipe all user data, system and cache, reflash and still bootloop.
I have the touch rogue recovery, I don't think that the problem because I restore my nandroid, and now all work with the unofficial CM9 19042012

While I hope for those who want it can get the on screen buttons...
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD make one where there are NO on screen buttons as well... I hate to waste screen space on the onscreen buttons when I have them on my device, as well as MANY applications including Grand Theft Auto 3 and more that doesn't, and probably cant ever have a fullscreen feature that hides them due to how the application functions!
Hey cdesai thanks that you port the jelly bean to our tab but will cyanogenmod 10 be 240dpi or 160dpi?, because Google said that 240 dpi is optimized for 7 inch tablet in android 4.1.1.
Is there more lag then ics?

Really glad we have s4 original cm13, thank you very much. I've just a problem, as with every other MM build: my wifi disconnects every time i turn off my phone screen. I set the wifi to never turn off, i disabled the avoid poor connection thing, tried changing to a static type conection or to set to 2.4 or 5 ghz only but no results... did you know this problem? and if yes, any hint to give at me? (and to all other members with this problem?) thank you in advance.

is bluetooth working?
does this ROM suffer from the deep sleep turning off WIFI issue found on other CM13 roms?

I tried flashing the CM13 but the new CM recovery doesn't have an option to install from microSD, nor is my microSD detected.
I already wiped the partition as well, and my backup got deleted, yes yes mistake on my part.
How can I go about flashing the ROM onto the phone?
Thanks!
Dirty flashed and get error: "No SIM found" and a lot of FC ...
Will try a clean flash later

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for Lineage OS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to Lineage OS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

Official CM13 support for the Verizon M9? I was already really tempted to drive a few hours to someone for S-OFF. Now I'm really, REALLY tempted. Thanks for this, @Flyhalf205!
That is real nice of you to post this now that my bracket is garbage ?
How is this running so far?
Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
Just installed it. Really smooth so far. It has the typical thing were the 3g network is displayed as 3107. So, if I am on a nightly build, how would I perform updates to the ROM. Dirty flash or install the recovery from cyanogen?
Great job.
ROM is running very smooth.

Should be easy fix for next weekend to work on. If you use the built in cm updater it does everything for you. Manual flashing just dirty flash and wipe cache.

Just installed 3/22 build and running great so far. Thanks for doing this. As I side note, the CamPack is working. http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-m9/themes-apps/htc-m9-marshmallow-campack-candysix-t3300228

This will be fixed in the next nightly.
OK here's my dilemma. I keep getting Play store FC. I'm using the same gapps that work fine on Candy Rom. Any ideas ? Thanks.

I hear PAC ROM has same issue so it looks like a source issue and not gapps

Thanks guys. I'll try open gapps nano then.

I flashed a older build and it worked and upgraded to 3/28 and working fine. I think they got it fixed in the 3/29 build for tomorrow.

OK thanks. I'll give that a shot also !!
Anyone know if the Ir blaster is working yet? I haven't tried cyanogen or candy in about a month and I couldn't get it working even after setting selinux to permissive. That was the fix I used to use for cm12. I think that's the only deal-breaker for me right now.
Hey, installed cm on my m9 two nights ago, really like it so far. I did get a sleep of death twice last night though, thought you should know.

Just a gentle reminder to not flash this ROM on your main device, as especially with RIL at the moment, is broken, preventing and mobile data/call usage.
Great ROM, performance is excellent, seems faster than Stock 11, other than bugs mentioned in post it is very stable.
Flashed over ArrowOS 12.1. Booted fine, most works. Need Google Play Services/Gapps. Great job!
Can someone post screenshots of the ROM? There is a toogle for unlimited google photos?
BTW, I wasn't sure what was the most up-to date version, so I flashed v.5 from the Download's link and the latest version from the Test folder, which appeared to be a few hrs more redent. Seemed pretty much the same. I was hoping that one of them contained gapps, but I see both are labled as Vanilla when you look in Settings/About my device.

Flashed minimal Gapps yesterday. Everything working great! But I could use a more robust gapps, e.g. with Google Mail and other basic Gapps... Any reccomendations?

I have stock 11 on my pixel 2 xl, will flashing this improve battery life? Its nice to see Android 13 on this 2017 phone!
I think it is not guaranteed. Given that this ROM is on beta stage so bugs are expected. Like OP said don't flash it on your main device. Otherwise feel free to try and report the issues you've encountered.
New build is out!
SELinux has been set to Enforcing and qcrilhook.jar bugs have helped progress RIL solution.
So far RIL is still broken, again, as stated, don't test on your main device.
Amazing, great work!! I flashed latest v. 6 on Saturday and reflashed with minimal Core gapps on Sunday. Litegapps 57 MB. Also flashed TWRP and rooted with no issues.
Works nicely, but had to dl gapps from Play store. Need smaller size rom if you are going to include anything more than minimal gapps w/o modifying System partition. I.e., risk brick .
Occasionally having slight issues bringing up recents with gesture nav. Not sure if it's a ROM issue or related to LC launcher. This issue went away. See Edit, below.
Edit: As this is my backup phone to play with, yesterday, contrary to my advice to users for which Taimen is their dd, I decided to try to repartition my Taimen. I used the script on @Pixelbot 's PE 12.1 XDA thread. If I bricked, it would be no great loss! Also, this was a personal challenge!
Repartitioning using @PixelBoot's script worked without incident! I factory wiped in TWRP and with the larger System Partition I was able to install the Nik Gapps Full A13 gapps package and booted without incident. Restored my settings and apps using my Pixel6 Pro and everything works great (except for telephony, due to RIL not being fixed yet, but I don't have a sim on my Taimen. ... I am looking forward to playing with the next update.
So excited for this I'll definitely flash it once RIL is fixed
I got an update ota to 13.0 today. I assume data and all is working on it? I'm really wanting to flash it. Do we need to clean flash or just ota away? Lol

RIL not working yet. So no phone or mobile data. I'm on it since my Taimen is a backup phone w/o sim. You might want to hold off a little if Taimen is your dd.
Why would they send an ota with ril not working. That's why I asked because of yer previous post about data not working. In the changelings fer last couple of days lots of radio and WiFi changes have been done. I always look at those before flashing . So I guess I'll wait on the dev to reply or go over to telegram to research this question a tad bit deeper.
Wait a minute Alxoom. If yer on last update without radio working can you look in the updater in settings? I mean I got a notification on my bar and updater download like a normal OTA .... HHHHMMM. Off ta research. Haha
I must be going crazy. When the notification showed up it said 13.0 .. after I downloaded it it says 12.1 , and it says 13.0 in the changelogs. Oh well guess I'm blind or crazy,,,, prolly both LoL
