please decompile this apk
Most of the members here are gonna reply with - "here's the link to the decompiled...", but i'm gonna ask you yourself to do that. Apktool's guide is here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1466100
XDA is a place to learn.
Code:
System.out.println("Sent from my SGY");
I agree with anasdcool,
Decompiling is really easy bro
You should try learning from the guides

Well, that's the best part of playing with apks. It's damn fun to track the error from the log,Finding that you made a stupid mistake, make the changes again, compiling again, praying for not getting the same error, playing around with layouts and smali and endless back to back flashing till you get the right thing you wanted.

I remember doing this with CM3 and CM4 on my G1, unfortunately, the files don't exist to remove in 2.3.2.. I have a theme for evervolv gingerbread and would like to incorporate this into my theme. Any guidance would be appreciated.
Im thinking I may need to add some lines in keygaurd_rotary_unlock_port.xml, but am not positive.. or maybe remove some lines from another .xml?
Attached is an image of what id like this to look like.. Basically just the ability to view the homescreen with the keygaurd is up.

Recompiling an .apk
There are a couple of ROMs that I want to make it compatible with, and the framework is not interchangable, so this seems to be the easiest way to go about it.
Also, I did say any guidance would be appreciated. Oh gave some guidance-more than I got from anyone else. Haha

You may also have to edit policy.jar from the frameworks as it contains code for the lockscreen. Looking at the XML the color code is a transparent code. So it is the actual desktop picture showing, but how to get the widgets to show through idk.

Divider images in framework-res.apk. Search "Divider" in the drawable-hdpi folder. You'll find light and dark pngs.
EDIT: Contacts pulls a lot of images from twframework-res.apk, so I'd also look there if it's not in framework-res.apk.

Maybe "dazednconfused" from team venum can help you??? He has changed the color of his divider in the wicked sensations rom so maybe he can point you in the right direction.
Im thinking that divider is not in contacts.apk. May be in phone.apk, mms.apk, framework.apk, or systemui.apk.

Huge thanks to Sleshepic for the help!! Thank you!
Well on my OG epic I always loved the stock AOSP look and feel. When I got my S3 I tried out AOKP's ROM and liked it but went back to touchwiz because of all the features it possesses over Stock Android. One thing I miss and found essential on this big screen is the on-screen navigational buttons from AOKP. I would appreciate if anyone could give me any insight about porting this feature to touchwiz.
Now keep in mind, I have seen the forum with the flashable zip for the buttons on touchwiz, but it is no where near as good as the setup implemented into the AOKP ROM.
Thanks in advance!

I've heard about that method, but are you able to customize them like in the AOKP Rom?

I never customize them. That has to be built into rom. But this will allow basic keys (like in picture) they work pretty well overall.

Anything is possible. Just a matter if the devs want to add it in. Just have to find the rom you want to run, talk with the devs and see if possible. You can add those general keys on any rom with the above addidtion to build prop tho.

You can customize them by editing the pngs into the SystemUI.apk. All of the pngs are in the Drawable-xhdpi folder.

I would like to know that too.. and also, do you know how to remove the volume warning when you turn it up?
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda app-developers app
Upload your SystemUI.apk, framework-res.apk, framework.jar files somewhere (zip them all into one zip and attach to thread)
And i will remove them.
SystemUI.apk can be found on the device under /system/app
both framework files can be found under /system/framework
If you see a SystemUI.apk AND SystemUI.odex
or
framework.jar AND framework.odex
I need the corresponding .odex file too.
I don't have the device but I know how to remove this stuff. Just can't test it immediately.
Unless someone donates some money for me lol
I really want this device so I can make a stock customized ROM.
