Today i tried [Erachter ROM v1] on my Acro S and it's work fine except SD card Support
because XS don't have SD card outlet .
I will try some other roms soon :good:. if you tried one tell us please

you don't have to flash 3.Flash binary recovery or 7.Flash a kernel (i recommend XSX kernel v5)
just flash Rom.zip from recovery and do full wipe
I hope there is more people who will dev on this phone. Im planning to buy this phone soon. Sorry for the off topic and btw thanks for deving this phone

where is that ?
Have you tried flashing the CWM Kernel for Acro S afterwards? This should fix the missing SD-card.
However, normally every Xperia S ROM should be working, the problem is the AROMA-Installer that most Devs are using to customize the ROM. The Acro S does not recognize this installer and therefore stops the flashing process.
It's under system\framework\framework-res.apk

I tired this but the SD card still cannot use. I flashed a ROM that from XS and the ROM developer suggest me to replace one file named framwork-res.apk under system\framework folder that can fix the SD card issue. Why replace this file can fix SD card issue?

I'm not sure but it could be a good possibility that the external drive is defined in the framework. It's not a big deal to exchange the file but root is needed for it.
Yes I have rooted the device. If this is really work, can we transplant more XS ROM to ACRO S?
Flash the CWM Kernel for Acro S still cannot make SD card work. Please further help!

Hello guys so recently I've been wondering why Xperia S mods don't work on our Acro S, some guys said that there's a file inside framework-res.apk that makes it not to work or to be detected by the phone even in your pc when you connect it.
So I tried to look for files inside the .apk, after searching I found out that the file storage_list.xml inside /res/xml folder that contains the following words /mnt/ext_card and I compared it to the file inside the Xperia S mod and it doesn't contain it... so what I did is to replace the storage_list.xml of the Xperia S mod to the stock Acro S storage_list.xml
I flashed the Xperia S mod, fingers crossed, booted up successfully, recieved an sd card error message, I ignored it, I opened up Album app, switch to by folder
view, and... BAM! IT WORKED! IT DETECTED MY EXTERNAL SD CARD! I OPENED CAMERA, FILMS, OTHER APPS AND IT WORKED! I connected it to my pc and it worked! See screenshots below for some proofs
Here's the step by step tut:
REMINDER: MAKE CWM BACKUP FIRST BEFORE DOING SUCH THINGS!
1. Grab an Xperia S theme/mod/ROM
2. Extract framework-res.apk from that mod {can be found at /system/framework}
3. Open the .apk file with WinRAR/WinZip or any extraction tool
4. Go to /res/xml folder and replace the storage_list.xml in that folder with THIS
5. Save changes, replace the framework-res.apk on the Xperia S mod with the ones you modified
6. Copy it to ur internal sd card, FLASH IT, BAM! See how the magic works!
Press the thanks button if it worked for ya! Please test it on Stock based Custom ROMs for Xperia S too. But if you're on unlocked bootloader, flashing an Xperia S kernel will make the external sd card not to work, i don't know, just try if you want...

Yes I have tried KA20.1 Xperia SSpeed it worked but I was having some USB connectivity problems so I couldn't connect my USB :/
Good thing I did a CWM backup...

Try to use a systemUI made for Acro S, there are also files related to USB there.
@TrinityHaxxorX have you try this ? just little help
That is pretty cool i didnt realise that you could just use winrar to open a APK file i have always used APKTOOL. I guess if anyone that has read my guide is reading this thread that can modify that part and it would be a whole lot easier. Good job.
Feel free to go and take a quick look at my post in my PAC thread if you want and chuck the details on how to do the whole ROM in here, will help people find the details a whole lot easier.
EDIT: Still suffers from the framework problem where you will get system_ui crashes so will have to use my second process just saves you going to command prompt and using APKTOOL.

It's only been tested on i9082 currently but I don't believe there should be an issues with i9082L .
I used the "Villain" system which will also generate a "stock" zip so that you can return to a stock state.

ya becoz it is issue of cwm.
cwm does not support exfat file system used by i9082's internal sd.
i prefer using CWM by chotu rather formatting my sdcard ....
whenever i flash GRAND TRANSISTOR zip statusbar is lost.. plz help...

Just to ask, what recovery are you using to flash this? I use 4EXT and managed to flash this ok. And btw, could I have the steps you have gone through and what step is failing to use this?

I am using AOSB rom, link in my signature, which works great. I dont think it works with Cyanogen 7.2 for some reason. You could try flashing a different kernel.

Yeah I tried this too and it didn't work. The Desire Z is compatible though so all you need to do is follow the guide further on down: just open up the zip, locate the script you want (e.g for 100MB in cache, open zip and go to swap/cache/100/etc/init.d/ and copy the 98swap_cache_v300 file out). Then copy it to system/etc/init.d and make sure the permissions are 755 and root.root.

I just test the new version fo AOSB rom , GPS is working the Turbo Boost is working.
But the mobile phone gets slow after.
I did some test with AnTuTu Benchmark and had better results with CM7.2

In the how to debrick thread I posted a recovery flashable script you can use. Just flash in recovery and itll do the rest. Once done just upload the debrick.img it created on your sdcard.
If you cant find the script, let me know. Might be several pages back in the thread.

How were you notified of the security update? I'm on TMS3KK-1.1-KOT49H.1747UCUFNE4. It's a TW rooted ROM
Is the script for stock recoveries?
And @OKAstro it was in my status bar....you can also go sys. Settings>more>security>security updates

If you are on a custom rom it was probably removed by the dev, along with the software update service

After updating SuperSU, it gave me options to disable KNOX, which disabled the annoying blocking of apps(I believe it did).
2.I installed busybox from the Play Store. I also installed Android Terminal Emulator from the Play Store.
3. I opened Android Terminal Emulator and entered these two lines, entering between them After entering the first, I granted root access, then ran the second line.
su
busybox dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0 of=/sdcard/debrick.img bs=1M count=128
4. After those two lines were ran, the debrick.img file was on the root of either the external or internal sdcard. I copied that file to my desktop, and inserted my sd card into my computer(Using the MicroSD to SD Adapter).
5.Finally, I used Win32DiskImager to write the files to the Micro SDcard. After that, I pulled my battery and inserted the Micro SDCard into my phone and it was able to boot into recovery and download mode.
I've tried almost all systems use rom, this rom has the longest battery and In this rom warming is at least level
