Flash a stock ROM, EC05 would probably be good, but any stock ROM should work.
Custom and AOSP ROMs are never recommended until after you have everything up and running properly.

First off, are you rooted?
Your problem: Rom Manager
You most likely have the updated ClockWork and that's why you can't flash ROM's.

depends on what he's wanting to do..if he's rooted trying to go stock or keep froyo with root, also, if he's stock GB and wants to go back to froyo, won't happen, hBoot versions different and will pop up with a message saying the update is too new or something like that.
so a little info on his part will help us out by helping him out!

Sorry, just so frustrated getting out of the latest. 2.3.3 / 4.24.651.1 was a new device and came preinstalled and updated. Been trying again today unsuccessfully, I feel so out of place with the only one in here unrooted?? LOL
Anyhows was really looking into on just delparting it(networkingskills) starting to take over my thoughts. Hell with it, delpart it n ,get dos boot disk made from win2000 to recreate Rom from cmd prompts?
Is there such a wipe? Mean just wipe all clean without it going back to recovery to reboot from?

My 2¢
if you have another sprint phone.....
Call sprint, swap esn to other phone.
Sell yours on craigslist.
Buy another one on craigslist that's rooted (call and swap esn to phone to make sure it works)
Go home, install whatever you want.

Do you want to be stock rooted or unrooted? There are roms for each. You'll want to look around the development section. Look for return to stock img or Condemned Soul's CCM7 or Andybone's Stock, then read up in the threads before deciding which to use.

If you want to get the clock widget and still run AOSP, there are alternatives at the play store too. Just sayin.
Fancy widgets or Beautiful Wifgets are 2 examples.

Let me guide you, oh naive one, to one of our Best ICS ROMs. Since all you want is the clock widget, I'll say why not go for the UKB Rom II 1.3.1? A bit overkill, but it has the best version of the Clock widget. The Sense 4.0 one... *drool* And DON'T UNROOT! noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo....... oooooo....

Mine was 451 MB. Most roms are at LEAST 120 MB.
Not sure how much you know but in recovery you'll want to wipe data, system, cache, and dalvik cache before flashing.
ClockWorkMod recovery is the most popular and likely what you have on your phone.
4ext is nice. I'm running it myself at the moment.
TeamWinRecoveryProject is another popular choice lately.
Any of the three will get the job done. Once you get the rom up, stable, and gotten your apps setup... you'll want to go back into recovery and do a backup. It will eat some space on your SD card but it's well worth it to have a base to fall back on later and makes it easier to try new roms since you can just restore the backup and have your 'base' back at any time.

1. If you aren't sure how the whole flashing a rom process works, you really need to spend some time reading around the forums. That's how we all learned.
2. You are given a daily allowance of XDA Thanks. You should use them because several people have been extremely helpful, without flaming your noobishness...even though you have a high post count.
I'm not being rude, but if you really read around the forums and educate yourself a little it will help you out a ton and save a lot of frustration. You need to get to know the particulars of flashing on this particular phone.
And no, 4.3mb isn't a full rom file.

Which means you probably did something wrong...and need to read up to make sure you do the steps correctly. Here's a freebie:
1. Download ROM
2. Check MD5 sum
3. Wipe phone
4. Flash ROM
5. DEPENDING ON THE ROM: flash kernel
6. DEPENDING ON THE ROM: flash gapps
7. Reboot phone
There may be some additional differences as specified by a roms dev. If you don't know what all of those steps mean...I repeat, please read around the forums. The answers are all over the place.

Do you know if you are S-Offed? That is probably the only reason why u are stuck. If not, you need to do that first OR learn to flash with simply HTC dev unlock. Otherwise, make sure you follow the steps to the T. Always wipe data/dalvik/cache and if possible /system (but not necessary as the ROM will and should wipe that anyway.)

It should say S-OFF as well. Because it can be S-ON and still unlocked via HTC Dev Unlock.

i flashed Hyperdrive rls14 to a boostmobile Gs3

my friend just got a gs3 today from boostmobile and he told me to root it and since i saw that the version was sprints the rooting went well. When installing the cmw recovery it gave so many options that i didnt kno which one to install so i installed the one that said us phones. Then when flashing the rom the 1st time i put it as if it was sprints it went to home screen but the camera wasnt working... my friend was pissed then i tried the metro politan us one thats and it changed the version of sprint of that company but im still having problems with the camera i just want to kno how to install it right or a rom thats stable for the boosmobile gs3 not stock android either or at least how to make kies download the proper drivers so odin can recognize the phone and i can restore it any help would be appreciated
I would suggest checking out THIS THREAD. Also, did you make a Nand before Flashing ? There may be some helpful info there.

No i didnt im soo F**** if i cant get his camera working or i rom thts stable for boost mobile and on the tread was kind of help but kind of didnt still answer my question
You could try freeza's Stock Rooted Rom. It may resolve your Camera issue. But I'm not sure about the other settings for Boost Mobile. If that does not resolve the issue, you may want to ODIN back to Stock. But again it may affect your Boost Mobile settings.
