I am planning to buy a One V in few days. but my only concern is its 'NON-REMOVABLE BATTERY'. So i just want to enquire that if the phone gets hanged and no hardware buttons work like when flashing kernels n roms sometimes happen that stuck on splash or boot logo. then how u guys reboot the phone? or u guys just wait for the batt to die ?? :-s
PS: sorry Mods please move this if its in the wrong section.
Thnx

Just hold down power button for 7-10sec (you can see hardware keys blinking) and it will be automatically restart......but don't hold more than 15 sec it may brick your phone.....

My Glacier has the same chipset and every game I've played has been very smooth. Mine does have 768MB of RAM, but I doubt that would make much difference.

You want random reboots?
If you have doomkernel or any other kernel with cpu voltage changing enabled, download IncrediControl and set all of your CPU voltages to the lowest values. Your phone will restart faster than you blink your eyes

I hope to know who is using the new One V.
As the price of One v was just the same as wildfire S before but seems to have a higher performance. My girlfriend usually scold her phone for too slow....
Can I know more about this phone??
Actually the One S is about $100 more than the Wildfire S. Check out the specs page for both phones at gsmarena.com.
It works faster than htc wildfire s. Ive compared to my friend's phone.
Camera, sweeping between screens, changing windows. Everything works smoothly
But if i have too many apps working behind it goes a bit laggy, but doesnt really stuck. For example : opening 3 tabs full view web, music, social networking

Just press the power button and hold for about 10 sec, it will force reboot
Or press both power button + volume down and hold, it will force reboot to bootloader

Love it as it is very much better than wildfire s in term of space & speed.
And to compare it against wildfire s is not a fair game. Should compare it with Desire

It won't be long before an overclockable kernel is developed, or CWM Recovery.

I think it runs about the same as on my SGT 8.9 running a Tegra 2 at 1.2ghz, acceptable on both devices. I get FC's after a while on both which to me seems to be related to memory managment, not device performance. It hey, it's a beta.
why HTC home reloads every time, when i return back to it, after leaving any app??? it takes about 3-4 sec to settle every time. Any solution for this??

Thats good to hear am not the only one lol yer it is very random, never happens when switching on the screen only when switching off.
Would a software bug make this happen? because if the button was at fault surely it would also happen when switching on screen.

I doubt it has anything to do with the power button. It is software for sure. Or maybe it could even be a 3rd party app that csuses it.
Will report back if it happens again and find something new about it
