Hi !
Had somebody experience a phone dead for a while?
I just tried to wakeup the cel and it didnt wakeup...
I realized it was turned off and tried to turn it on... the battery was full, but it was completely dead...
I tried to go to bootloader and no sucess...
I tried to "kick it" and nothing...
After some seconds it turn on itself... WTF!
Could it be a bad contact ????
Any guess ?
Tx...

Well that means something crashed very badly or it slept too deep if you want it that way.. Check that you don't use a overclock kernel variant from faux..

anyone know how to fix this..???
i have tried many times flash new rom.. still same..
i hope u see the different..
It's a hardware issue. Many DHDs have it.
There is nothing you can do with Roms or other software updates

You just haven't noticed it before. There is no possibility to push the screen to the side with rooting...
Or you dropped it after rooting.

I think you only noticed it after you rooted, it seems to be a common hardware issue with DHD's. If the screen is badly skew maybe HTC will try to repair or give you a replacement, just remember to un-root before you take it in.
Same problem flashing the same ROM
I have the same issue
I flashed yesterday night the last version of RCMix3D_Runny_v1.3,and when it boot, the touch screen was no responsive....I've tried everything (downgrade, factory reset, change Rom,restore a previous Rom with CWM,ENG S-ON,flash another Recovery.img),and my touch screen is dead...
Its not a proximity sensor issue, because the screen stays on 1 minute, then,it turns off.The phone receives te phone calls, notification, the sound is working, but no way to unlock the screen...
I thing is a hardware issue, but very, very strange the casuality: other phone with touchscreen issue after flashing the same ROM...
If anybody can help me,please,do it...I am desperate....
By the way,how can I flash a RUU Rom ? Is there any tutorial, where can I find a RUU Rom ?
Thanks to everyone who can help !!!!!!!!!
Sorry for my bad english
Flashing has nothing to do with it. It's been there the whole time. You are just now noticing it. I had my screen fixed under defect warranty. It's now perfect. Here is a link from XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=958069 And here is one from another forum: http://androidforums.com/desire-hd-support-troubleshooting/279651-screen-misaligned.html

Thats good to hear am not the only one lol yer it is very random, never happens when switching on the screen only when switching off.
Would a software bug make this happen? because if the button was at fault surely it would also happen when switching on screen.

I doubt it has anything to do with the power button. It is software for sure. Or maybe it could even be a 3rd party app that csuses it.
Will report back if it happens again and find something new about it

Hi guys,
My gio is losing battery at incredible speed - 5% every few seconds, and it's not even hot.
Whatever the rom, the kernel I put on it it's the same. I have tried to discharge-wipe battery-full charge a thousand times. I'd have thought the calibration was faulty here but I have tried Battery Calibration with no result.
Something weird is that on Battery Calibration it says it's at 4mV. Shouldn't it be more ?
It always stays at 4mV.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks...
Turn off mobile data when you're not using it, saves lots of battery

It's not about mobile data or wifi or anything, it's just unnatural to lose that much battery ! It's not even heating.
Maybe your battery died?
My sisters battery exploded and caused the same **** :/

Yeah that's my last resort but I would prefer to fix it myself, this will take ages =/
By the way is there a flash counter on this device ? If I just flash a stock rom I'm good to go ?
at me its just when i use it , scroll for music/youtube / browser/msn , it goes down very fast , like 4-5% in 1-2 min , but if i keep the screen off and i dont use mobile data network/wifi/BT i can listen music for over 10 hours with no stop (I tested it) it something with battery or what ?

discharging at that rate without any heat means a single thing: battery is of very low capacity.
My phone last usually 3-4 days on a charge, but without any use it will last 10-13 days. Using camera of any stressful game will discharge the battery 5-10%/minute, but in the same time phone gets hot.
what's about cpu usage, do you checking how many process was running?
No flash counter?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!
The heck that means I can always get warranty if something happens mwhahaha. Lol I'm a loser sorry. But that's actually awesome. Mine would be at like 50 if it had one.
Sent from my GT-S5660 using XDA
True, just make sure that you flash a stock rom when going to service center, and no custom recovery, kernel, root etc, these all wipe when flashing a stock rom

My wife's Gio has the same problem (fast power drops, 3-4mv,...).
At the moment I didn't find a solution yet.

don't use your phone
and set clock speed low, maximum 600 min 100 or something, maybe even lower..
Have you got the official gio firmware? if not try to install it & do full battery stats/data wipe...maybe the problem can be a bug in your current ROM.
My HTC One V phone is not booting up. I dont even know if its charging or not because LED lights is not present. However when I plug it to a computer its being recognized by the computer by giving out a ding sound like when you plug in a new device to the computer.
What can I do to fix it? It just went dead.

Well... not sure where is the connection but
Mine was rooted, running CWM, KISS Kernel and MyONEv RC5.0
The power button was busted so i sent it to them forgetting all of those...

probably a piece of third party software but only twice thats not too bad. Mine crashes when I first pair it to a new bluetooth 1 device.
You can read through thishttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2006189... Maybe it will help.

The think is that I am on full stock and bootloader is locked... still. My problem was Viber app / app service. It overworked my device until reboot was inevitable. Maybe you have something of the same nature.
Try apps like "CPU Spy" to find what's overworking yours... To me it happened even like 3-5 per hour... In some parts of the day... Mostly because of my traveling and network cell switching.
Try different scenarios to find out the culprit.
Best of luck.
Pushu.X
Edit: try using the phone in "safe mode" for a while. If you don't get any reboots than it's a rogue app. If you still do... than it's your phone / kernel.
