my device is switched off and i can't turn it on
only the led turn on when i connect it to charger
sometimes it turn on without doing any thing but it stuck on HTC logo
the problem started when my device stuck on HTC logo so i tried to install new rom and i got error usb connection and the device turned off and i can't turn it on back or do anything
What happened before you got stuck on HTC logo?

Have u tried booting into recovery by holding vol down + power button down yet?

hi I have a wildfire for two years and I've never had any problems, it worked because my girlfriend was left without a mobile phone because his was in service, after a week I returned it stuck in fastboot
if I turn it on normally enter into hboot but 'I can not move using the vol + - and even with the power button
I remove the battery, turn it on by pressing the vol - and power and enter into fastboot but 'are equally blocked
I installed the froyo ruu, restore it but when I reboot hangs on white screen with htc written in green
I remove the battery and start again as before ..... all blocked
ke I hope someone help me because I care a lot about this device.ringrazzio heart who gives me a hand!

I say u go to htcdev.com first and unlock it.
Rooting it would be simple then.
Once rooted you have many roms. C'mon bro ur phone is NOT BRICKED. Check the rooting thread.

I unlocked htcdev but I'm always stuck in fastboot!
Hold the trackball button and power on the phone. If that doesn't help then factory reset your phone

Hi there, I have a HTC Inspire 4G phone that is not working anddont know what to do, Actually I have knowledge in samsungs only, (download mode recovery etc) but this phone does not turn on at all, after pressing the power button there is a little red led at the left and turns on and thats it, pressing power and vol - doesnt do anything,
When I plugged it in the computer after 5 mins around the computer recognizes an "android phone" or "my htc" nothing else happens.
when I leave the phone alone, suddently it turns on vibrating constantyl and shows a white screen with a HTC green logo but nothing else happens

What happened before this?
Did someone try doing something like down grading?
Your symptoms sound like someone tried to flash a froyo ruu on a device that had gingerbread on it which means your bootloader is possibly messed.

the 1 post is the original and current problem..
Is your bootloader unlocked? Is it S-Off? Did you flash a custom ROM? Did you wipe /system? What exactly did you do to get it into that state?

Im not really sure if the bootloader is unlocked since I didnt use this phone before, but pressing power button + vol- doesnt do anything, my friend who is the owner said that the phone was rooted he wiped everything in the system options, after that the phone did not start anymore and got the problems mentioned before
He might of formated something for the phone to boot up properly, tryed flashing ruu or ADB(ANDROID DEVICE BRIDGE)

Nup, of course when the battery was on the phone, what I meant is I removed the battery and insert it again and tried but didn't work

Hi... I have been using CyanogenMod for at while.. And it has been running great...
Then yesterday my phone started acting up, so i restarted it....
Not it gets stuck on the CyanogenMod startup screen when i turn it on...
And I can not enter bootloader, I have removed the battery, and then powered it on while holding volume down down, like I normaly do...
But i just end up on that CyanogenMod loading screen no matter what i try...
Is there another way to force it into bootloader or to force flash a new rom? (The rom i am currently on has been working fine for over a month, untill this happend)
I really hope someone has an idea... Please do ask if you need more info from me

Hold your volume down before holding power button at the same time. Wait until it went into bootloader. If it is not, most probably your hardware keys is broken.

my htc desire 816 stuck at boot screen(htc screen), I already try to restart with press power button+vol up. But it didn't work.
My device back to stuck at boot screen again.
2 days ago I got notification from HTC on my device for update software.
I follow the instructions, download then install. success.
Now, this morning. Just wake up and found my device hang at boot screen.
I create new thread coz I can't find this situation in this forum yet.
Please anyone kindly help my situation.

SOrry to know about your loss. Is your phone unlocked and rooted by any chance? If so then there are some alternatives. If not, it is much better to check with HTC support so that they will get you fresh installation if it is still under warranty. All the best.

I experienced it when I freeze user interface of HTC. It is HTC blink. When I defrost is my phone started.
To do this, I first removed SIM and microsd and re-plug them. Then from settings panel at the right top, I found Rom Toolbox and defrosted apps.
How did u resolve it?

hey, check for RUU for your varient. If available flash stock RUU.
Android 5.0 is very different than 4.4, I suggest you to perform a factory reset on your phone from hboot.
Press power + vol down buttons to enter in hboot
Same problem. Phone has boot loop and not enter to fastboot.
When reconnect battery, phone go to boot loop and nothing.
Try Press power + vol down buttons, but nothing. Has solutions? Or hardware problem?

Got it solved by pressing POWER + VOLUME UP for about 20 secs, after it vibrates and light gets brighter and it will start. Before I also removed SIM and SD cards and plug them back in.
guys I had same experience mine. here is what I did. I opened the back cover, disconnects the battery and connected it back my phone came back but I discovered that the battery stoped charging but phone is working well. don't know why the battery stoped charging

bro please help..my bootloader is unlockes...i was trying to root my phone using cwm recovery and super su zip...after flashing zip my phone stuck at boot screen...please help!!

How exactly are you trying to go to bootloader? So the phone is powered on normally (in Android OS I assume), and then you do what exactly?

Does there seem to be any change in the screen appearance when you do this? Such as the screen looks like it's actually on, but it's only displaying a black screen?
Or any reason to think your vol rocker is broken (does it work when booted to Android OS?)?
